  1. I'm wondering if there is some sort of order to life and death, to reincarnation. If one keeps evolving their consciousness throughout this lifetime but doesn't become enlightened, is that then stored for the next time round? Also, I believe Krishna consciousness teaches that if you love eating pork in this life, you will become a pig in the next sort of thing. Along with living through 8.4 million (or billion?) different species. Just a thought.
  2. @Javfly33 Delightful. Spreading bliss and love like nobody's business, lol. Feeling better now? Well, kindly allow me quote what you wrote earlier: Yeah, that kind of sounds like you are trying to stop the so-called "cycle of reincarnation", wouldn't you say so? Which begs the question: Why do you think that it is necessary to stop something which God has set in motion? Do you think that God is a fucking idiot who doesn't know what he's doing, and now it's up to you to clean up the mess he has created? And what the fuck would be the alternative? You do realize that without form there can be no experience of reality, right? (And please, just stick to answering the questions. Your petulant hissy fits are getting tiresome.)
  3. Should I be jealous of someone who seemingly hates is earthly existence so much that he seemingly spends all of his waking hours trying to escape it? That really doesn't sound all too blissful to me. Exactly. So why get lost in conceptual stories about "death" and "empty bliss" and "breaking the cycle of reincarnation" instead of just living in the moment and appreciating the Here and Now as it is? All that there is is THIS. So you either embrace it, or you suffer. I didn't say "just fuck everything", I said "just love everything". Slight difference.
  4. @Someone here holy shit dude Look at wikipedia says: " ānanda signifies eternal bliss which accompanies the ending of the rebirth cycle. Those who renounce the fruits of their actions and submit themselves completely to the divine will, arrive at the final termination of the cyclical life process (saṃsāra) to enjoy eternal bliss (ānanda) in perfect union with the godhead. " Literally yesterday i had the same idea. Before reading that wikipedia Page. I had the intuition, reincarnation process ends when consciousness realizes itself as Pure Bliss (its own nature/ purest quality). And until that happen the consciousness keeps reincarnating in bodies in order to be able to consciously Awaken. Im not fantasizing. Are you jealous of me i get to experience true Bliss? You shouldnt, this didnt come free. Ive invested about 500 hours or more in current yoga process which delivers this kind of realizations. And even, this does not come each day. ""What if you realize that everything is already perfect, divine, whole, complete?"" Yes and no. Because as wikipedia says, much probably the work is making those states of being a reality, more than conceptually telling Yourself is all perfect and bliss while not quite true feeling perfect and bliss Cycle of reincarnation Will Keep repeating if not handling this properly. You have been warned! 🫢 There is a difference between concepts and reality. Is very different to conceptually telling Yourself is all bliss vs actually Being That. The difference might be stopping the cycle of reincarnation or not. So, the stakes are high. Your perspective of just fuck everything probably wont cut It. But...you do you. Lets see Who bet most wisely.
  5. Let being mesh in truth, to realise the true end. I’ve spent two months trying to confirm this. This is what reality is working it’s way too consciously. Bringing heaven right to the fore front. Your limited Awareness was created out of love. Nothing is actually going on. But nothing is not something you can experience as you currently have self - realised it to be. Full truth = no truth. Becoming god is to not become anything at all. The reason is because absolute facets are the only ones that exist, in its infinite form. There are levels of vibrations of being (sensations) where you can’t hold it in your body. You leave in the night sky To infinite levels of being. Pure being it took me months to peace this all together. Just know the end of times will need to be realised in solitude. There is nothing in the outside world that can get you there. There are pointers but you must make it true yourself
  6. Check this video --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlzXhiQa4mk Sadhguru claims that we have 5 different kind of bodies. After DEATH The mental body and the pranic body goes on & when karma's intensity dissipates then it finds another body. Ofcourse i don't understand ANY of that BUT i think it goes contrary to what @Leo Gura is saying. Leo says that after death you just return to the Source & Infinite Love. Sadhguru says that unless you have a mahasamadhi then you will be a godamn ghost waiting for another body...And if you died unaturally then sorry my friend but you will have to wait much longer for another body than someone who died peacefully lol. What is the mental body & pranic body? Is just another name for consciousness? I'm super confused right now... Guess i'll find out when my time comes.... Can't wait man.
  7. @Merkabah Star Yeah she's hardcore anti Trans like it'll take a reincarnation to deal with that level of fear and hatred. Also agree those sexual predators calling themselves trans are the bad apples of that movement, and they shouldn't be used as representative of all trans people. It's super silly these ultra far rights and even Rowling continue this angle. I can relate and empathize with the misgendering, got misidentified as a Jew for having a certain nose in my high school, like come on.
  8. So I'm reading this book "How to Attain Enlightenment" by James Swartz. It goes into talking about vasanas, or basically behavior tendencies from the unconscious mind (or casual body) that can be inherited from who you were in your previous incarnation. What im wondering is how do past lives fit into Non-Duality when, from my understanding, everyone has the same consciousness looking through their eyes, then wouldn't everyone who has existed before you also be your "past-life" in a sense? Am I missing something, or are there different levels to it?
  9. This is not advaita vedanta stuff. I mean literally, if you stop giving thought any power, the sensation of individual experience disappears. In other words, apparent individual perception becomes Infinite Nothing. God remains, but God is nothing. Perception is literally Nothing, unless you think this is something. Then illusion of I, others, time, reincarnation, and more shit can pop up, because once you think a certain POV is YOU, You fucked up. Remove absolutely everything until complete destruction of 'I' of any kind. If you just STOP THINKING completely, you do not know anything. This includes the words 'existence', 'time', 'reality', 'life', 'death', etc. If all thoughts are removed everything disappears. Is insane. Not even an 'existence' is left. Existence is a thought of the ego.
  10. The question is whether or not karma is carried from a past life into the next. But this carries a lot of assumptions. It first assumes Reincarnation. Reincarnation does exist. But does it exist in the same reality. If God dreams it is a wolf in this reality does that mean it would be a different creature in this same reality? When you are in a night dream there are many rules and things that you follow. You can go through so many trials and tribulations. But when you wake up from the dream all of it is gone. Vanished. Like dust in the wind.
  11. Does reincarnation happen? How to see your past lives? How to see your future life? How does your previous life affect your next life? Does your current karma define your next life's sufferring? What transfers from one life to another?
  12. @Kid A I've given up, I am just waiting to die. The only reason why I won't kill myself is that I believe in Reincarnation and don't want to repeat this life.
  13. I was unpopular with men and women. A group of boys used to tell me everyday at 15 that "Nobody loves you" it's etched in my memory. The leader of that group was already having sex with multiple women at school and is now married with kids. The girls at school used to say "I would die a virgin", when condoms were handed out during sex education class they laughed at me taking them, since I would never need them. I never found my group of outcast, anyone I asked out would laugh at me. Never got invited anywhere. If a healthy masculinity is so attractive then why do overtly negative, destructive men manage to attract women? How can I develop any self love with such a terrible foundation. I have no positive memories, nothing to fall back on where I can say at this point I was embraced, even cousins and older siblings treated me bad. If you never find your tribe, your self development amounts to nothing. I've had phases of trying to embrace myself and it works until you go home alone again knowing nobody cares about you or will call on your birthday. I am not angry at women anymore but I have given up on trying, the only reason I won't kill myself is because I believe in reincarnation and think I will have to repeat this lifetime if I commit suicide. So I just have to endure this pathetic existence until it's my time.
  14. life is short you know..? 10.. 20..30.. 40..50.. 60 years max and bye bye 👋 Right ? Fucking NO. What if death is only something you've been brainwashed with by society..parents ..other people..religion..and even science . You might have witnessed animals dying or people dying..but is that an evidence that YOU will die ? I know this sounds like mad talk that only belongs to the nut wards ..but trust me guys I've done hundreds of hours of contemplating ..and I assure you ..there Is not one single evidence that you are going to die. But ofcourse no amount of me saying this will get it to click in your mind . You must discover it for yourself. And also nobody knows what happens after death (if its even gonna happen) that is of course if we lay aside religious stories and philosophical speculation.. Hands down: Reincarnation.. Nothingness.. Heaven and hell realms etc are nothing but beautiful beliefs. Death itself is a fucking belief.
  15. reality is just an infinite reincarnation of god, because what else is there to do?
  16. In the case of the op 5meo it could have an extremely positive effect. op, what you need is not something that makes it easy for you to open to infinity, but something that makes it difficult for you. You are not looking for a mystical experience but to break your barriers. An experience is just an experience, it has no great value. Reconfiguring your energy structure has a value that goes beyond what you imagine. Hit with the 5meo hammer again and again, until your fear is pulverized. Your heart will open and you will be free. It's scary, indeed, but at the end it's not so dangerous. The humans have to face our fear really, not playing. People go to wars of do very extreme things in order to follow their path on life. Nothing can be worse than stagnation, we are in a mission, and requires moving forward, evolve, face the fears. Probably there is continuity, reincarnation, evolution. Bravery is required, the other option is death
  17. i don't want to be born again. I hope it is not true.
  18. What is enlightenment anyways? Is it just an intense release of oxytocin in the brain? Is there really anything to "reach" since once you hit that state the ego would not exist. What I never hear talked about enough on this forums by Leo is reincarnation, whether we are actually incarnating here to "learn lessons" and "raise our capacity for true love" or "raise our frequency" if you look at personal growth from David Hawkin's scale of consciousness. Surely some here have read Michael Newton's books (Journey of Souls)... is that our reality... where we incarnate here as souls in this reality which is more akin to a virtual reality video game, that we come here because oneness is boring? If so, it's pointless to reach enlightenment because the Source will just create new souls, new realities in which to visit anyways. In fact he says they do in his second book. If we don't have souls and are just animals then there's no point in any of this work... life out your life as your DNA would have you do. I think a lot of us are stuck in analysis paralysis. Me? I enjoy figuring out how everything works. I want a user's manual for everything because what fun is there in being spontaneous?
  19. The outcome is that we can get more clear on what we think spirituality and religion is. By the way, I'm not saying it's useless to distinguish between spirituality and religion. I'm saying the distinction is not based on substantial differences but rather something trivial like history. What you seem to refer to as "spirituality", many academics like to call "New Age religion". And again, to distinguish it from "traditional religion" (e.g. "world religions", "organized religion"), they generally point to historical and cultural developments: New Age is a religious movement originating in the early 70s and is compatible with individualistic and (post)modern values. New Agers tend to value individual expression and pick and choose among different religious traditions for inspiration but are not dedicated to a single tradition. So the core of New Age and traditional religion is the same, only the cultural clothing is different. New Age is of course not necessarily about mysticism ("direct experience"), which explains the general connotation of the word in these circles ("New Agers only care about crystals, spirits, astrology, reincarnation, etc.; essentially just beliefs"). Likewise (and more obviously), traditional religion is not necessarily about mysticism either, which also explains the general connotation of that word in these circles ("religion is about beliefs"). But of course, mysticism does exist both in New Age and traditional religion. To say that New Age and traditional religion are about beliefs is only one part of the picture. Like many people in these circles, you seem to place an equal sign between spirituality and mysticism (direct experience), but at the same time, you couch it in an individualistic and modern cultural frame ("your personal spiritual journey"). Could it be that these cultural values make up the "doctrine" of your religion? Could it be that if you had lived 1000 years in the future and looked back at your current self, you would've called yourself religious, because you would've clearly seen the cultural values as an arbitrary addition to the higher goal of mysticism? I think the same thing would've happened if you had lived as a mystic 1000 years ago. Anyways, if we are to sum up your statements into a coherent whole: you seem to follow a religion with an individualistic and modern cultural frame with an emphasis on mysticism, which roughly adds up to New Age religion.
  20. Is there some way I can directly verify this? Is there an enlightenment experience where you become conscious of reincarnation? Otherwise, surely this is just another belief.
  21. In Leo's video the one before last on meaning of life, he talks about how we are reincarnated, and we (God) choose to divide itself again to be reborn, but how could it be true when we take into consideration the earths population, the population has been growing massively, so dosnt that show that it's not just the same souls being reborn over and over again but new "souls", if it was the same souls then the population wouldn't be caused by Eccononic and political conditions etc?
  22. In the most recent video Leo talked about how every life you raise your consciousness until you eventually merge with the absolute and reach nirvana and then will get bored of that, split from it and start again. If we are use the consciousness is like sand analogy, where reality is an infinite beach and we are all individual sand castles on a beach not aware we are all the sand on the beach, how can I be sure that my next life I will start from the sand castle that has just collapsed. In other words if I am doing all this consciousness work to reincarnate and have higher levels of consciousness and more chance of reaching nirvana in the next life, how can I be certain I will get the consciousness of the work I did not someone else? Or am I looking at this from the wrong paradigm as I am the whole beach so I am raising the consciousness of each grain of sand for the next rebirth? PS I dont want to take reincarnation on as a dogma so I’m still questioning it.
  23. How about when someone's way involves hijacking your community by proclaiming himself to be the reincarnation of Jesus and having sex with all the hotties and taking their money?
  24. @Edvard Since i have no real knowing, I do not consciously remember past lives or events, even if I did how would I know it was me or true, it could all be imagination, but on a logical intellectual level, it makes sense to me that reincarnation is a real possibility... You don't remember past lives and events simple to save You the grief or shame or other disempowering emotions, its natures way of giving you a clean slate in a way, not a totally clean slate but a chance to start over, if you had access to all the event of your past lives I bet 99% of the ppl would not be able to function in daily life.. Ppl today have a hard enough time get thru THIS LIFE's past events, never mind possibly 100's or 1000's past lives events, so its best to Live Now, focus on NOW, as that is where LIfe Exists, You are Life, but its okay to investigate into it and see what comes up, just don't put too much time or effort into reincarnation or trying to bring up past lives memories or events, it could seriously make life worse for You if you have not established a stable base of emotions and energy situations within Yourself!
