I've been slacking off recently..I don't see any reason at all to do anything. Why study, meditate or improve myself in any way?For what reason? One day I am going to inevitably die.One day the entire human race will die.Even if we manage to colonize other planets to ensure our survival, the Universe will die,and therefore we too. I am not a fully developed human being,I am far from that.I have emotional problems, there is a lot to develop about myself..but why?To experience happiness? What is happiness? It just an emotion, and what does an emotion is?Some chemical reactions in your body. That's it.It is no different from anxiety, depression, stress, love, courage etc...Why should I even bother to do anything to cause some chemical reactions in my body? Why should we create purpose in our lives? Why should we fight for anything? That something that we are fighting for is going to die/disappear and no one will ever remember it again. There is no afterlife in which we will remember our achievements in life. There is no heaven/hell/reincarnation or other stuff like this. When we die,we die.Nothing remains. I often think..what if I would die right now?Why should I bother becoming enlightened or finding deeper truths about life if everything is going to end at some point?.. Please.. don't spam any of Leo's videos here.. chanches are that I've seen it.Just write.. To anyone who is thinking about replying to this thread..why are doing what you're doing? For what reason that important to you are you developing yourself? Why add value to a reason if what you're going to achieve doesn't have any value in of itself and will inevitably disappear?

@Brimstone the main thing that landed me in the hospital was that I was not sleeping, it wasn't because of me running my mouth about my non-dual experience, I actually didn't do that. I was in a state of panic because I felt I would actually die if I fell asleep and asked my mother to take me to the hospital for that reason. All of the synchronicities I was experiencing felt too much for me at the time, and I became overwhelmed/suicidal all over again. There was a voice in my head telling me that I would do the right thing, tell the truth, and I would die because of it. The inner voice was also telling me that I was a reincarnation of Jesus Christ and my name in this life has the same initials for that reason (J.C.). Then I started realizing the biblical names of people in my life were synching up. I felt I was the true creator of this reality that I'm living in, down to every last detail, and it was absolutely beautiful and terrifying. Anyway, it was all very intense and seemed too much to handle alone. Possibly like a bad LSD trip (even though I've never taken psychedelics).

@BuddhaPixel @LaucherJunge I don't pretend to know anything about reincarnation, I am just curious, but, are guys coming from belief or experience? -
LaucherJunge replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Consciousness is projected into the body, when the body dies and the ego with it the projection gets cut. Now the projection of consciouness starts in another body but the source of it is always the same, so it is not exactly a reincarnation atleast if you look at the deepest level of truth, you can go to more fragmented dimensions and there you might find some other form of identity or attributes from which the new ego emerges as the old one that died already. -
BuddhaPixel replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Given the presence of ego here, you're probably looking at reincarnation as existential craving is still very much present. -
What happens after the physical death of human? Does our ego disappear forever and we go back to knowing our true self eternally or do we convert to new ego (Reincarnation) ?

Why aren't spiritual people more kind? Here's an undeniable fact: I don't know who is reading this piece of text right now, but whoever it is, its actually me + different brain programming. Whoever wrote this text, whoever electrobeam is, its actually you + different programming. Of course this is the case. Imagine Ricky(or some crazy scientist) replaced all of your memories with Leo's memories. Now he replaced your values with Leo's values, now he replaced your body. Literally transferred your body to Leo's body. You would literally be Leo. You're still you, you didn't change. But you went from whoever you are now to Leo. Just visualize and pretend that who you think your parents are was actually just a dream, who you think you are is actually just a dream, and what you really are is Leo. Envision his parents, his body, his values, his videos being yours. You're still You, you that thing that exists is still there, you the real you hasn't changed, only your mind has, and you're actually Leo. You can apply this to everyone and everything. You are still you, no matter whether you're a bird or hitler. You're still you. And the reason why you think you're not Leo is because of what? A fabrication of reality, memories ideas and dreams that don't have any more basis than the boogie man. When you watch Leo's videos, all you're doing is watching yourself, from a different reincarnation. Its kind of like your 20 year older self(back to the future) came into your reality and started making videos about how fucked up you are. Except in real life its not your 20 year old self, its your 20 reincarnated generations of yourself. So why aren't enlightened people more kind? Why aren't they more humanitarian than they are? Why do yogis isolate themselves from civilization and not help and try and stop pollution. Can you imagine the amount of suffering is going on in the world(that is, the suffering you will/did go through). Why does Jann Esmann not care about how fucked up everyone is, why do all of the best yogis hide themselves from society(their self ironically) instead of helping it?

Hello all, I am definitely on and working towards staying on the path of actualization and of awakening to enlightenment. But, a thought has come up often and today again whilst I was listening to @Leo Gura's latest video on distraction, so I wanted to put this question to you all… If when we die, the individual ends, the personality ends, the self ends and goes back into the substrata that makes the all, what difference does it make whether we attain enlightenment or not? I mean if you believe in reincarnation of the self - I can see why it would matter because then the self ‘comes back’ with a higher consciousness and therefore incarnates into a more evolved state.. But, I have come to a different understanding of reincarnation and it no longer involves a continuation of self… that old version of reincarnation satisfied my ego very much as it saw it just as a continuation of itself, but as I realize the self, the ego is a finite ‘thing’ that lasts one lifetime and can be reduced greatly in that life time, then what would the difference be if I actualized if I attained enlightenment or not…? Is that not still just a state of achievement for my ego’s experience in this life and it’s hope to continue after? I really do not have the answers and only questions and to be honest have been having a bit of an existential crisis regarding all the beliefs that have carried me thus far.. for example the power of prayer, or the assistance of more evolved beings/forces… at the moment I don’t even know if those things are ‘real’ sigh.. Ok any helpful insights would be lovely, Peace, B

Does anyone know, or have a good idea? I've been watching Leo's videos about moralism, teaching me more to accept reality just being, which I figure has to be the ultimate truth - it makes sense and explains so much about the world. Now, given this, being unconscious is also just reality. Evil is just reality. Suffering is just reality. Neither of those things are bad but from our own perspective. But isn't our own perspective all there is?, meaning that living in hell equates reality just being hell, regardless of whether hell is an illusion or not, or what is true in the absolute sense. Yet, I often hear from self-actualizers that reality is sooo amazingly beautiful. Isn't it then appropriate to say: "Well, speak for yourself"? So, does anybody know WHY or HOW the ego in all its evil exists? Is it necessary? Is it random? Or does no one know? Worth noting that given that I'm not dead or having been dead, I don't know how it is to die. Leo for instance, says it's the most beautiful thing. I'm a little skepticle of the notion that death by enlightenment equates "normal" physical death, not only because you come back to your ego again pretty fast. I've become more open to reincarnation, and think that it is actually quite likely - then, is it a viable notion that "you" could become a lower conscious being in the next life, like a chimpanzee or something, even if you got enlightened in this life? Or would you say enlightenment is like "Nirvana", where the cycle of all lives stops for eternity? This is quite speculative, so worth to note that I'm not believing any of it, but I don't exclude it either... just wonder if anybody has some knowledge, experiences or ideas, because I find it really interesting.

Not sure if any of you have already read this but it goes in line with everything Leo says when he talks about enlightenment. I'm really surprised I haven't seen this posted more often around Leo's channel. http://www.truthcontest.com/entries/the-present-with-religion/ This first pdf is for those who grew up with any religious background. It relates enlightenment to what Jesus said. I grew up a strong catholic so this was perfect for me. http://www.truthcontest.com/entries/the-present-universal-truth/ I actually haven't read more than the first 10 pages of this second link but it seemed to be the non religious version. Ever since my first enlightenment experience about a month ago I've been doing non stop research on different masters and different people who know the experience we're talking about here. This is the most clarity I've seen in one place so I couldn't wait to share it. I have to disclose I'm only 100 pages in and this book does have ideas of how reincarnation might work so take it with a grain of salt like you should take anything. For anyone hesitant about wanting to read just a bit, the first 3 pages may take about 3-5 minutes to read and I strongly believe it's well worth it.

Reincarnation has been the closest to a belief that I hold about our existence here on Earth, when I was a child I always thought about it. Not as much now, but today, I've come across Dolores Cannon and her work. She was a hypnotherapist and in her sessions she just couldn't ignore all the patients talking about past lives and she compiled all the info, wrote lots of books. In one of her books she proposed the idea of volunteer souls. After Hiroshima, these souls (free of karma) volunteered to come to Earth for the first time in three waves. The first wave is the baby boom generation, born after the war. They were kind of lost here, so although they have jobs and raise a family, they feel they don't belong. They get depression and sometimes commit suicide. The second wave, born somewhere in the 80s (she says it's difficult to draw a line) were a bit luckier. Their job is to only be, and raise the energy and frequency. She says these people heighten the spirits when they go into a place by just being in there, but they feel so uncomfortable that they prefer to stay at home, work from home etc. if they find a similar soul they get married, but probably won't have children. The third one is the children of today, mostly geniuses although some are misunderstood and diagnosed with ADHD etc. She said these children have different and better DNAs, and are probably the saviour of the Earth. Now I hope you will keep an open mind and tell me what you think. When I listened to her I thought about Leo being in the second wave, and also myself. Especially because as much as I hate to be in a room full of people, I am always told I raise people's spirits. I'm also sceptical of course. Want to hear your ideas about this. Anyone having a similar experience? A small talk by Cannon, longer ones can also be found on YouTube:

@TimStr Conspiracy theories can be fun and I do agree that they help expand a closed mind to more possibilities. In fact, I think they had an impact on me going from strict baptist christian to where I am now, believing in more of a universal consciousness type God and reincarnation. My whole belief system changed (which can be a huge shock on the mind and on ego), and I accredit much of it to listening to coast to coast and Art Bell. I don't cement the conspiracy theories to my belief system, but they have definitely cracked open the door to new understandings and possibilities. So, I don't think they are a waste of time at all if you enjoy listening and reading them. Just do it with an open mind and a grain of salt.

Ananta replied to The Universe's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's the ego (I-thought), that is a special kind of thought, because it thinks it's real, that is the one afraid of death. In reality the body/mind is constantly changing (Inner- new thoughts/feelings, outer- cellular changes, wrinkles, etc), it could be said it's continuously dying and being reborn. Every night in deep sleep the ego and body, completely disappear. When you reawaken it's like being reborn. Extend that to afterlife realms, other life forms, reincarnation, ect. It all happens (if it exists) within awareness itself, the background, which permeates everything. Btw, what you really are can not be negated in Self inquiry, therefore it's the background/substratum and can't be negated with the death of the body/mind. Hope this helps a tad. -
starsofclay replied to Chrissy j's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I was going to say something similar to this. You should learn as much as you can before you die, but to answer your question fully, it most likely won't happen in this lifetime, unless you have been working on this for many lifetimes and somehow cognize with one of the masters (buddha, christ, God himself), or your higher self who remembers all of the work you have put into it in the past. Otherwise, just learn what you can and hope you will cognize in a future life. If you don't believe in reincarnation, then you may either end up achieving this, or very disappointed. -
egoless replied to egoless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I agree, but you only answered what happens to my ego during the physical death itself but question is there are other egos too. Do I experience others too? Like reincarnation but not really... -
I was watching Zeena and Nikolas Shreck vs Bob Larson part two yesterday..and they spoke of this topic. Nikolas said all of the information gathered and stored and imprinted in your DNA will be returned to your higher self after your death, although it is a popular belief in the LHP that if you follow Abrahamism, everything that is you; your psyche, personality, being, whatever you want to call yourself will cease to be and you will become nothing due to your submission to the universe and the Abrahamic egregore on the astral plane using the information you've gathered here as it's own energy source. This popular LHP belief also proposes that the white light is actually a trap that lures RHP followers into the battery, and that those who have followed the occult and evolved themselves spiritually will be prepared to traverse the after life realm with their astral body (through programming their chakras and mastering astral projection) and return this sacred information and stored data to their higher self, and potentially ending the process of reincarnation, and existing eternally. Speaking of Alan Watts, I'm reading his book The Book on the taboo....and he mentionsthis idea of black nothingness after you die, and says that people create afterlife ideas simply because they cannot fathom and wrap their heads around the idea of non existence I also think it's important to note that while some ideas of death and the afterlife sound more plausible and may fit ones paradigm more than others, and regardless of what a god/deity tells you, what you read or hear from some spiritual master, or what revelations or epiphanies you have about death, no one knows for sure what the fuck is going to happen, or if anything is. The expectation that a "something" is going to happen is based on faith, and we should all make the most of this eternal moment now, and this one life never to be repeated in history again (that I'm sure of) the fact you or I or Leo even exist is such a miracle and is beautiful for no reason but that it exists, and if you've read this, you are lucky beyond most people's understanding

I remember being a kid and thinking that one day I’d never exist anymore, that cruel idea made me sweat and dizzy. In my adolescence I accepted death and viewed life as a gift that has to be lived to the max. Then in my twenties I started reading Buddha, Deepak Chopra and opened my mind to the possibility of reincarnation. From then I’ve read every theory about afterlife. First I was into David Icke, repeating his words like a parrot: I’m infinite awareness living a human experience. There’s also the Quantum Consciousness theory by Stuart Hameroff. The Biocentrism by Robert lanza, everything is created by our mind. I’ve read lots of books but all end up without showing clear explanations or conclusions. In the other hand the scientific community denies afterlife, and I became angry when Stephen hawking said that afterlife is just a fairytale for those who are afraid of the dark. There’s another interesting theory in reddit that the brain on DMT released when we die creates a long afterlife and its eternal because in DMT the time passes very slow… Even it has been denied, I’ve always clinged, well (my ego) clinged to every hope of afterlife: Near death experiences when the patient was clinically dead, and was able to report everything that happened on the room, and the exact words of the doctors. Those who claim astral projections out of the body. The No location of the consciousness inside the brain. Like the brain was the receptor of consciousness who is located in other side of the universe… Leo told us in a shocking video that the SELF doesn’t exist, so what remains after the lost of memories, body, ego, energy? The perceiver, the consciousness. But how will my consciousness after losing his human identity be aware that it’s the consciousness that witnessed my life and not the consciousness of my neighbor? That’s sad. And moreover, I’ve recently read A Watts, Out Of the trap, in the last chapter Tribute to carl Jung, he admits that reincarnation, Buddhism, and enlightenment is a big fat lie, and that is impossible to separate the ego of the true self because it’s the same. I feel so fooled. If somebody has access to this book, please Id like to comment the last chapter with you.

be careful though. don't assume you've seen enough for Reality is an Absurdity. even though it has nothing to do with enlightenment, which is Truth realization and Truth embodiment, i've seen people access some kind of universal memory with the help of ayahuasca rituals. they're able to attain wisdom and knowledge that goes beyond their individual lives. a raw example of this is a brazilian man called mestre gabriel, who seemed to be able to access the memory of a vassal of the solomon king in order to (re)create the religion união do vegetal. actually, to be more precise, he said that he was the reincarnation of that vassal. and when i contemplate the greatness of his wisdom and the beauty of the união do vegetal - with its thousands of happy families -, i humbly ask myself who i am to say that he was mistaken. and not just that. i myself have experienced union with people in the thought level. it feels like i'm able to think/feel what others are thinking/feeling. if you're really willing to investigate such questions, don't simply use your head. use your entire body and throw yourself in the world to have true first hand experiences. there's no other way to heal your thirst. -
I've been seeing these subjects everywhere as I'm progressing in my spiritual work. So basically my main questions are: Who's gonna reincarnate? I know that my body is "real" but nobody owns this body. So when the body dies, its gonna be with the with the earth. So how can "I" even reincarnate. Who's gonna reincanate? And if your answer is something like "your body dies but your soul enters to another body", well what do you mean by my soul. There is no reason to believe that we have individual souls. What I understand when I hear the word soul is nothing other than one and only consciousness that is everything. So there is nothing personal about life. There is no such a thing as "my" soul. There is just soul and it is everything. I've even heard some people talking like "Your soul chooses to come this earth by it's free will and etc." and of course this seems like a complete nonsense to me. Talking about free will and shit... So eventually what I'm saying is I think there are a lot of dogmas about this topic. So what do you guys think. Is it completely nonsense? Is it a metaphor? If it's true which parts are true and which parts are dogma? What is it? I would be appreciated if somebody who studied this stuff with an open mind can answer some of my questions here.

To anyone doing research for their life purpose, mastering a skill set for their life purpose, or finally making strides to finish a project for their life purpose, please understand one thing: Embrace Not Knowing. If there were any one idea that's important to understand about nailing your life purpose, it would be this one. Your level of success in any career field is directly tied to how well you can tolerate Not Knowing: If you will get paid If your idea is actually that good or you're just a crazy person Where you might have to go next in your career path Whether your career's assumptions are accurate Not Knowing is the well-spring - the ground - the source for creativity and insight. Creativity starts with a question, with uncertainty, not with a cut-and-dried answer. You cannot ever have True Knowing without having Not Knowing precede it or, perhaps, be it. Yep, I said it: True Knowing might just be Not Knowing. What you don’t know is what you don’t know. And it's not like pretending to not know changes the fact that you don’t know: It just means that you've deluded yourself into thinking you know, when indeed you don't. But herein lies the rub: You fucking hate sitting Truly Knowing Not Knowing. That’s why you buy the courses and the books and the videos and the seminars and the training courses that you waste so much time on. That’s why you distract yourself from what's right in front of you. That’s why you read my articles, Leo's articles, and any other idiot on this forum's articles. You just need something - the thing. It's in your genes. If your ancestors wondered for too long whether that noise near the bushes was a predator or not, you wouldn't be here right now. Our brains are geared to make fast assumptions, and questioning them in many cases quite literally equates to death. No wonder we're so hardwired for confirmation bias. No wonder we need quick fixes. ---- I started watching Actualized.org Videos during my senior year of college. My success up to that point had nothing to do with my happiness and I was adamant that the same would be true in the future. This was pretty distressing to realize at the time. It meant that I didn’t know what lay ahead of me. Mainly, it told to me that my dream of becoming a doctor had nothing to do with happiness. My whole life up to that point was about becoming a doctor – what the hell would I do? I purchased the life purpose course, meditated, and came up with some pretty cool visions for the future. Here’s what I came up with: I could use my background in neuroscience to help create a technology that would link consciousnesss together. My vision included a search for what part of the brain created consciousness as well as technologies that would allow people to turn their brain into holodecks. Basically, I wanted to turn astral projection into a technological science that went beyond psychedelics or VR and went to mainstream society. My heroes at the time included people (read: chimps) like Elon Musk, Walt Disney, Tony Stark, and Barack Obama, amongst others. Almost everyone Leo listed off as someone not to follow, I followed. If you want to see my vision board, here you go: The Enlightened Warrior Sage of Bliss.pdf @Leo Gura advised me that though I was onto the right path, I would be wise not to put the cart ahead of the horse. So, with his perspective, I went back into the Hallowed Grounds of Not Knowing. Specifically, I had to understand what consciousness was before I even began raising it, especially with dangerous A.I. tech. This meant researching a ton of weird areas that I would previously have never even begun to consider. If my militant-atheist, fundamental-rationalist sophomore or junior-year version of myself had heard of me these areas, he would have laughed before crying. I’m talking about things like: o Lucid dreaming o Astral Projection o Psychedelics o The Nature of Reincarnation o Witchcraft o The No Self o Chakras o Kundalini o Shamanic Traditions o And *gasp* books arguing against the logic of science amongst other things In Leo's video about the paranormal, he talks about the scientist who goes off to a cave, only to return with a truth he can't describe. Well, I am that scientist. How do I explain to scientific advisors that we can't link consciousness together because it's already linked together right now as it is? How do I explain that I can't create A.I. consciousness because the A.I. would already be made out of consciousness? How do I explain that entire fields of science are straight up looking in thanks wrong direction? But here’s the thing: the ability to rest in Not Knowing while doing research has paid off greatly. There’s a ton of stuff that I’ve recognized just in the past year that has saved me literally lifetimes of seeking. Amongst others: o Perhaps I don’t need to be anything or anyone special o Perhaps I don’t need to become rich and famous to be worthy o Perhaps I don’t need to one-up my ex-girlfriend to get back at her – the goal that originally launched me into self-help material o Perhaps I don’t need some big fancy life purpose that saves the whole world immediately. Perhaps its often the people who do that who mess up the world because of their narrow-minded unawareness. o Perhaps the Tao Te Ching is right in saying that the actions taken with the least damage are the wisest o Perhaps what the world needs is to specifically not need to do or be anything other than what they are, as-is, and if we did that, everyone would be better off naturally. I’m not talking about me using that as an excuse to sit around doing nothing: I’m saying that 1) we all need to get out of our own way with our egos to 2) help others have enough and then 3) be able to sit around happily now that we’ve all as a species had enough. o Perhaps That’s’ the only actual need anyone has: the need to have the ability to simply Be themselves happily. o Perhaps You don't have to do anything to meet that primary need other than remove your own conditions for happiness o Perhaps It’s just an assumption that consciousness is created by the brain. o Perhaps it’s the other way around than from what I was taught at the world’s #1 medical university. o Perhaps its consciousness that creates the brain. o Perhaps there’s no need to chase around the holy grail of a “neural correlate of consciousness” like the thousands of other neuroscientists and neurosurgeons who’ve gotten nowhere. o Perhaps the answer is right under the scientists nose and their culture and dogmatism prevents them from seeing it, not the data. o Perhaps I don’t need to subject myself to some of the bullshit faced by academia to get ideas out there o Yet perhaps no matter what path I choose, it’ll be filled with trial and tribulation unless I choose to see things otherwise. --- Do you get that each one of those realizations is worth a lifetime of understanding? I’m not exaggerating whatsoever. Just the first two bullet points explain how the entire Los Angeles Culture came about. The third is enough to get past 5 years of therapy. And the 4th would have saved Elon Musk 50 years of effort. And so on and so on. And those aren’t even all the insights I’ve had! There are at least 250 pages worth of insights scribbled in my journals. All – ALL – because of my ability to Rest in Not Knowing ---- After purging myself of some of my original pursuits, sense of self, and attachments, what's left? I’m still left with my strengths: 1. Wisdom/Opennness/Judgment 2. Social Intelligence 3. Love of Learning 4. Creativity 5. Zest/Enthusiasm/Optimism 6. Humor 7. Bravery I’m also left with the same tangible skill set as ever: o The ability to recall information from +250 books on psychology, history, science, medicine, religion, philosophy, metaphysics, and science fiction o The ability to research the shit out of anything using the internet, books, and good old contemplation o The ability to gain a wide, nonjudgmental perspective during conversation and brainstorms o Making unforeseen connections between seemingly unrelated areas of interest o Digesting hard concepts into smaller, simpler ones o The balls and enthusiasm to share my ideas while still listening to others I also got my MCAT scores back. After 550 hours of study, I killed it. Especially when it comes to psychology – I got a perfect score in that section! So here's the final question: What are my plans now? Fool, did you not read anything I wrote? I DO NOT FUCKING KNOW AND THAT’S PERFECTLY AS IT SHOULD BE. (More seriously, I am considering pursuing clinical neuropsychology. Specifically, there’s a chance that I take the energy I would have used on finding a neural correlate of consciousness and use it to figure out the neural correlates of Enlightenment. There seems to be an open niche regarding 5-meo-dmt in research and if I hop in now, I could position myself as the #1 person in the world on the topic of the Science of Enlightenment using 5-meo. See, Martin Ball didn't have Martin Ball to help show Martin Ball the ropes. But I do. I also see the possibility of creating psychedelic integration programs with biofeedback, journaling and zen noting techniques thrown in for the phase in between doses. But until then…) Goodbye Neurosurgery Goodbye Becoming the next Musk Goodbye One-upping my genius ex-girlfriend Hello Unconditional Happiness Hello Darkness, My old friend and Hello Not Knowing, let's see what we come up with today.

Don't blindly listen to any one teacher. Don't place any one teacher or teaching on a pedestal. Corrupt teachers are no problem when you are pulling from 100s of sources, as you should be doing if you care about Truth and understanding. And you understand the dangers of the epistemology. All schemes for quantifying consciousness are very limited. Don't take them too seriously. You cannot understand higher levels of consciousness without actually going there yourself. It's like trying to tell a blind man about the color red. Nothing can be said. It's a very complex and technical topic which would require a lot of detailed explanation. 1) No idea. Not a valid question. 2) Well, of course I am a teacher, because I teach stuff. Maybe in the future I will travel around more and do some live talks/meetups. But not right now. 3) I'm a lone wolf type guy. I don't like personal support from anyone. I like to do things myself, or not do them at all. 4) Not really, it's become just normalized. I don't really do the work for you, I do it for me. 5) I consider all the videos leading to sagehood for those who are serious about it. I'm not tied to the notion of being a sage. It's just naturally the direction I'm pulled. Actualized.org is the sage school. Doubt, as in thinking it's untrue? No. I've experienced beyond a shadow of a doubt now that nonduality is factually the case. Do I backslide into old bad habits and struggle with embodying nonduality? Of course. How could it be otherwise? That will only be fixed with decades of work. You gotta accept the backsliding and not beat yourself up over it. You can only grow so much so fast. Nope, no light. No, I doubt that. You're not going to trick the system. If there is reincarnation, it's there for a reason. You're not going to shortcut consciousness or trick the universe about your level of consciousness. It knows. Just because you died on a psychedelic high, your base level of consciousness was still very low. If you die on a psychedelic, you'll probably be reincarnated as a jackass Sure, anything could in theory be used for growth. But I wouldn't expect serious growth from a fiction book. That's be way to easy. I like to be conservative in my planning. Then I can be pleasantly surprised with any excess Sounds like it. I may need to take some time off to work more deeply on myself. But then I think I'd return. I like giving advice. But it does distract me from doing the deepest work on myself. That wouldn't happen for some years. Too much on my plate as it is. No, they tend to be toxin and unpleasant. I've got better stuff to try. 1) There's lots of nuanced and basics-type topics. 2) I covered many of them in my recent Paranormal Phenomena video. There's a lot of weird occult spiritual stuff to research. A lot of weird stuff within psychedelics. 3) The extent to which our society, marketplace, food industry, drug industry, media, marketing, business, government, education system, and politics is corrupted by capitalism, dogma, ego, and money. If people only knew... There would be a bloody revolution. Shinzen Young is really good at teaching that. A little, but mostly they don't care, so I keep it to myself. I don't think they watch my videos much. They live an ordinary, chimp-like existence.

@Loreena When I first saw Sam Harris in Youtube, he looked familiar.. I almost believed that reincarnation exists, wondering if Sam Harris was my uncle in my previous life ... I had watched movies of Ben stiller many years back, so I couldn't suddenly realize the source of the familiarity.. -

huh, i think @krazzer got this because he doesn't seem to be someone who suffers from attachment. i still go to ayahuasca ceremonies twice in a month even though i'm not searching for anything. i just enjoy life the way it is . i play within duality like an innocent child. i talk about spirits and reincarnation. i talk about zen and make people practice zazen with me. i dance like the wind. i play a role without identifying myself with it. it's all fine. no suffering at all. -

@eputkonen I understand it is off topic.. but I can't help asking this question though because i used to wonder if reincarnation is really true or not... For me, these things don't distract my path because I have grown in the path enough to see these things as totally separate and related to the objective world.. I always have curiosity about objective world and I wonder with questions of scientific nature.. and I see this similar to that.. I don't care about my own past lives and don't really have interest to know about them but I would like to find out if reincarnation exists or not.. When I say historical, I am not talking about a famous figure... I didn't assume that you should have been a famous figure in the past life.. But f you really remember a past life incident, even a memory of one incident may reveal a lot of things... For example, If you remember an incident where you were in a market in some part of the world and in sometime in the past, you would see something entirely different in that memory.. You probably remember people of different skin color, wearing different types of clothes, speaking in a different language, standing near buildings that look a little different etc... Yes, you may be making up a story but you would get nothing out of it, there are a lot of other ways to get attention. So, i think that would be unlikely. But what I really want to find out is, if the memory you have is really a past life memory or a distorted memory from the current life that you honestly believe as a past life memory.. This happens to everyone and I think it is the nature of mind to distort memories, so this doesn't mean that the person who is reporting that memory is dishonest and not authentic. But based on the memory you report, I think I can possibly guess if it was real past life memory or some memory of present life that you unconsciously concluded as your past life memory at some point of time.. I am pretty sure that sometimes these recollections are convincing enough for even a super intelligent person to believe that it happened in a past life..
