  1. ^^^^Sophistry and poetry. It is beautifully written. The only thing that awakens you is the realization that there is only you, because it is true. That's it. If you accept what is true, completely and utterly with no resistance and raise your consciousness then permanent realization will happen. The funny thing is many of you enter altered states of consciousness all the time through smoking weed or taking other such substances. If you only knew that from that state if you accepted the truth.....in that moment realization would occur. You don't need months, you don't years, all you need is a full understanding of what you are, and the awareness to see it. Anyone not awakened is just hyponotized!!! You are hypnotized into a solid reality, and in your direct experience this is what you call real. When you can accept the instability of reality as also real....and accept the understanding that your true nature is not bound by stability but is completely free to express itself in anyway just like a cartoon. Hell I would suggest seeing yourself as a cartoon as a more direct way to awakening than all those traditional ancient moralistic, biased methods. All you have to do is accept the truth, and verify it in your direct experience. If you have verified it but it has not become your baseline...it's only because you are in denial. All you psychunauts who trip, and trip, and trip on end with no permanent non-duality? The ONLY reason you don't have it, is because you fear your true nature. You are literally right there......your right there. Figure out...what it is....that is stopping you from accepting it. THIS is the purpose of deconstruction, THIS is the purpose of self-inquiry. Anything else....is bullshit. Deconstruct the lies, the story, and discover the fear that stops you from...experiencing the fullness of what you are......the truth is....it's what you fear the most. YOU FEAR BEING NOTHING.
  2. Hi Sincerity, and please: If I go over the top with my stylistic devices overkill, give me a big smack with the Keisaku! https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keisaku You know, if I would really seriously start attacking certain (in my opinion very very dangerous conceptual systems like Solipsism) in a measure that would be appropriate to the potential damage Solipsism can cause at certain readers of the forum, we would be in a s***-show of the highest degree. And since such a Nondual/Dharma-battle that is not kept on the light side only leads to conflict, suffering, bruised egos and a lot of fallout (and not much productive stuff else), I try to stay on the light side, trying to take myself not to serious. The only thing I allow myself is limited amounts of irony, not crossing the line of sarcassm (if I do, give me the Keisaku). And sometimes maybe risking writing like a smartass using a broad range of certain linguistic stylistic devices and foreign words. Like, you know, in: Oscar Wilde — 'You can never be overdressed or overeducated.' Forgive me these little sins and vices. And feel free to use the Keisaku if I go over the top. Writing is a monologue, and it is difficult to see how its interpreted on the other side. We are all on the same path, going from atom-molecule-plant-animal-human-stone age- medieval age- industrial age- information age- AI- Skynet -Terminator-Fermi-Paradoxon [just kidding, I dont believe in that, although its possible] - awakened humanity uploaded to Alien Dimension [Reality Switch Technologies: Psychedelics as Tools for the Discovery and Exploration of New Worlds ], so... Lets enjoy the journey! Water by the River
  3. Whatever you feel is toxic...go towards. Believing something to be toxic is EGO. There is NO TOXIC. If you haven't fully awakened then that means resistance still is within you. So go towards everything you deem toxic till you can love that too. When your love reaches a certain amount of acceptance, that is what causes permanent awakening. Think of this dream as a love simulator. The more you can love the higher your awareness becomes. So you wanna hit that baseline? Love TOXICITY!! DROWN IN THAT SHIT!!! Think about it....are you in any danger being exposed to information you deem toxic? No!!! But you are afraid it will corrupt you. How can it corrupt you....if you know what is true? This means you don't trust yourself on your ability to take in information and make sense of it. This stems from a lack of self-love.
  4. I'm glad you noticed. Why? Because this is the game that Politicians play. What many on here don't realize....is I do this on purpose. Do you know how easy it is to be civil? Civility is literally trained into you from birth. If you are bound by civility you cannot awaken. The hardest part of the awakening part is BREAKING your human conditioning and it is bound by civility. For example there are some awakened states and meditative state where you will start drooling, you might start farting, these are all things that you are taught to be ASHAMED OF!!! Notice humans believe that something called curse words are bad, that using all CAPS in writing is bad, and more distinctions. Humans believe too much direct communication is bad. Be polite, be kind, and all that nonsense. This is why Ram Dass said the LAST TRAP is Self-Righteousness. It's called the GOLDEN CHAIN. Golden= Because it is well-meaning, but that thing will bind you. So I am glad you noticed. Here is the funny part too, I have written more loving glowing posts, than I have direct deconstructive calling everything bullshit posts. But notice how bias works? It claims you did the unfavorable thing MORE than the favorable thing. Humans are such creatures, a man could obey the law his entire life and break it one times and people will claim he is a career criminal and make that one act the defining feature of that guy. Also notice this....when people find a reason to like you....then they excuse your behavior. Like Saul in the Bible who killed all those Christians he gets forgiven because he became Paul and wrote majority of the New Testament. He is considered a Saint even though he killed all those people. Yet Judas is vilified for the one act of betrayal. People will claim context matters but in actuality it doesn't, we create our own standards and if you follow legal systems...we keep changing them. http://tallangattalegalstudies.weebly.com/reasons-why-laws-change.html#:~:text=Values across society changes over, society in the present time. Morality doesn't exist, humans create it. As such....it is inconsistent across cultures, and across time. Yet they hold onto it as if it actually means something. HAHHA BULLSHIT!!! The truth is...you have never needed morality ever in your life.
  5. Well in truth the absolute is always awake but it cannot experience it until one of its avatars are awakened. Each avatar will experience their awakening differently, for example some may gain spiritual powers/abilities. In fact I think every awakened person actually gains an ability for example some may gain an increased capacity for compassion, some may have ridiculous amounts of energy, some may have ridiculous amounts of deconstructive ability, some may gain an increased ability to communicate or relate to others. When I talk about someone being awake I am talking about that person's ability to communicate Oneness. But what I have learned through my journey is each Teacher's contribution is not only beneficial but necessary. For example Mooji is really good at teaching how to operate from the day to day. Rupert Spira is good at helping people picture in their head certain Spiritual concepts. Leo is really good at directly simplifying the Spiritual Teachings and summarizing their essence. If you awaken your style and communication will be different but it will offer something in a way that other avatars do not. The purpose of the teachings is to completely destroy your individual story so you can actually enjoy it. So when I talk about someone not being awake, it's about their ability to effectively KILL you by removing ALL HOPE and MEANING AND PURPOSE from your perspective. If I put you in a HORROR film and effectively convinced you it was real you would suffer immensely. The only way for me to save you would be to break you out of the film by destroying everything you hold dear psychologically so you can awaken to the fact that it is just a movie. To you I will appear as a DEVIL as I work to remove you of all MEANING AND PURPOSE because you don't realize that you can't enjoy something if you are holding onto it for dear life. LOL.
  6. I am not woke, but sometimes I like to roleplay for fun in my head what my life and struggles would look like through an awakened persons eyes. If you had direct experience that everyone/thing was one consciousness - how does that affect your decision making process? I understand you don't need to be 'woke' to make any particular life decision, I'm just interested in how you feel about major life events relative to someone who hasn't had these experiences. For example say breaking up with a partner, is this easier somehow? if your boss shouts at you at work are you more likely to get up and just leave because - why are you there anyway? Less afraid of doing risky (not reckless) activities like skydiving, bungee jumping, extreme sports because you are eternal anyway? Do the usual worries and fear of life seem less 'acute'? You feel more 'free' to do what you want because you care less about what 'others' think? Does life feel like a bit of a video game to you (where you're not reckless) but it feels more 'fun' because you can make big decisions but always know you are safe somewhat? You're more free somehow because you are less focused on survival and more on... other things? If you have any other comments I would be interested in hearing them
  7. The first question is not sincere because we all know true awakening is NOT conceptual. This is KNOWN. If all it took was an understanding of concepts then anyone who studied would be awake. Awakening causes a CHANGE in how you EXPERIENCE reality. What's worse is I have said this MANY TIMES in my posts and notice how YOU ignore it. The second question is also dishonest. You attempt to push the notion that someone needs to be sanctioned by me to be awakened. The only thing I said is Absolute Solipsism is absolutely true. So I said ANYONE who says otherwise is not awakened. That ANYONE can be ME, LEO, the authority is not coming from ME it is coming from TRUTH! So again...notice the slight of hand at play? You are a politician!!! You aren't genuine at all!! Third question is again fraudulent because awakening causes a SHIFT in EXPERIENCE what I just mentioned earlier. I also mentioned in my post that a shift in consciousness must be part of the self-inquiry process THAT is why meditation is done for a SHIFT in consciousness. Inquiry is done to detach egoic beliefs, and then meditation is done to take that clarity that is given through detachment to perceive the TRUE NATURE of reality. If you didn't need a shift in consciousness then meditation and psychedelics wouldn't be needed. If you didn't need deconstruction to achieve clarity then self-inquiry wouldn't be needed either. Some don't even need meditation, just clarity in some rare instances can cause a permanent shift. But most still need a shift. So I just revealed the deception in your posts, because you weren't interested in an honest inquiry, you were trying to lay a trap and push a narrative. I just revealed your plan for all to see.....because unlike you....I could give a damn about power struggles and likeability. TO HELL WITH THAT.
  8. Whooopsi Like Ramana, who reasoned his way to Enlightenement with LOGIC. And all the other cases of more or less sponteneous Enlightenment, like Anandamayi Ma and so on and on. (Karma causing Awakened States anybody)? Yours truly is not adversive to logic, as one can see considering his way tooo long ramblings. But claiming that one needs Logic for Awakening and Enlightenment.... Ok, Ladies and Gentlemen, no real danger of serious seduction from and towards the dark side here.... Please reason & logic your way to God/Absolute.... Has been tried before. One can even get a PhD in that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theology all the best Selling Water by the River
  9. @Razard86: Four humble questions: (1) And as soon as one has understood this (what you write), and is deeply convinced that all of that is the case and true, is one then enlightened or awakened or realized? (2) If not (according to question 1), what would an aficionado of Absolute Solipsism have to do (or believe, or whatever) to get sanctioned by you to have awoken? (3) In which case would he have not have awoken, if he agrees these tenets/points you describe? (4) What would the Realizer/"Awakended one of Absolute Solipsism" have to do if he still suffers to get rid of that suffering, to ease his suffering? And please #1. some very specific answers, directly answering & hitting the meaning of the questions, to the best of your abilities #2. no talking about the bush, and #3. please the answer for each question separate. Lets see if there is enough reading comprehension and courtesy/compassion to consider Points #1,#2,#3 And let's see if yours truly has already made it to the list of lost souls forever burning in the hell of the heretics that are not worthy replying to them because even replying can cause their evil spirits and ideas to flare to possibly seduce and spoil the souls of innocents ones that still can be saved to Absolute Solipsism is deserving of the simple courtesy of not being ignored & answered to. Thanks! Yours truly Selling Water by the River PS: And sorry for the stuff crossed
  10. If everything is predetermined by God, then it means that you have no Free Will, or very little of it. Which also means that pursuing awakening is pointless, if God’s Will for you is not to be awakened in this life. Which also means that you can meditate as much as you want, trip as much as you want and you will never awaken. But, most of the time, you will awaken after some time (could be very fast or very slow) and if you do those things, so how will you justify this experience? Was it Free Will or was it predetermined? Same with death. If I choose to Off myself right here and right now, then who did it? Was it my Free Will or was my whole life predetermined by God up to this point and that’s how it was supposed to be. In that case even when I think I have control over my experience, it’s actually an illusion. The concept of free will is probably one of the most important one to grasp, I am yet to fully grasp it, but the way I look at it is that you have free will on a lower, material level, and some big events in your life (enlightenment/awakening/death) are pre-determined, but it’s just the matter of time when it wil happen. Following this concept, you cannot fail, and it’s impossible for you to not become awakened, the question is wether or not you will transcend the dream, move on (achieve total liberation, samadhi, return to God) and choose to never reincarnate again.
  11. Go to your local (and hopefully enlightened) Zen Master or any being one considers fully woken up/enlightened (because it takes one to know one), present him with your awakened state and/or Enlightenment & if you are so inclinded delivering also corresponding relative concepts (risking a smack), and you already get that today. Or 500 years ago. The apparent problem is of course: If one is the only awake.... like in only one ever can be awake. But I guess these aficionados wouldn't go to a potentially smacking Zen Master. Anticipating probably the outcome or so. So that kind of problem is solved anyway. Selling Water by the River
  12. I'm not, I'm giving examples of how it expresses to make a point. Consciousness IS, whatever you are experiencing, THAT is what it is at that moment. It's a shapeshifter. It CANNOT be BEYOND anything because it is everything. We say its not bound by time and space because it can appear as time and space. https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-020 It's nothing, it's love, and it appears as the things listed above. As long as it appears as those things, then in that moment that is what it is. But those are all relative, impermanent appearances so they are ultimately a lie because they are not permanent. The only permanent is absolute solipsism of the self. The self is alone for all eternity. Look if you haven't awakened fully....why are you even playing these word games? Unless you are here to get understanding to use in contemplation for awakening...you are just distracting yourself. I only drop by here to add illumination from all the traps and confusion people can fall into. I try to point people to the videos Leo made that can help them understand and make sense of things. A lot of people on the forum are corrupting the teachings and I'm just helping correct that. I do think that should be the Moderator's role but whatever.
  13. Yes. If you work carefully with Solipsism, and what I have read from you so far sounds very responsible. Danger is: When there is no other, there can still be you. Only you. One. Not One without a second. One, but not fully nondual/impersonal. Breakingthewall, from what I read you understand this very well, the danger and potential of that concept. Please allow me some general musings on the topic, not specifically adressed to you. The idea that the ego/separate self is God is the worst idea one can have. We agree on that. Blows up that which one has to kill/transcend. The opposite of Neti Neti. Shooting oneself in the knee and then starting the Marathon, and saying: I have done a good preparation for the run. At least in my perspective, there is zero problem for integrating the different views concerning Solipsism, and its partial truths: Solipsism on the level of the separate self: Wrong. The separate self IS NOT GOD or Reality. Ones True Being (Nothingness) is Infinite Reality, not the separate-self-cloud covering exactly that deep impersonal immortal always here True Identity. Solipsism on the level of the Absolute/Infinite Consciousness/Universal Mind: right. But totally useless once one is there, because it is just another fake concept floating in ones most obvious True Being. One snips it off like a fly. And before being there, it harms one also, because in any way it blows up ones ego, even if very subtle. And even if its just one more concept floating in oneself. I never had the need to think in Solipsistic terms while letting Nonduality ripen. Never. It would have only hurt me on the path, probably big time. How to get rid of "other", the loving style: And if one starts really feeling and intuiting that ones own being and consciousness is looking out from the eyes from another human (or any being): You would never ever start with ideas of Solipsism. Never. Instead, that beginning recognition is the highest level of empathy and love. But at that moment, there is no "you". Just impersonal Consciousness, in you, and the "other". It doesn't even make sense to say there is no other, because that implies that you are there (as concept and subtle separate self identity, not as Reality), because there really is no other. But also no you. Not one, but One without a second. Nondual, and not just Union of one with the Totality. So one can't say there is only me. There is only THAT. And nothing more can be said about that. And it is not one! It is not two! It is the one without a second. Nondual. Not one. And THAT is love, THAT is impersonal being, THAT is the essence of all of Reality. And THAT is also Nothingness. But anyway: If one thinks about it while on the way of getting to the Absolute, the concept of Solipsism is not useful. And when "one" is there, it is another crappy and redundant concept floating through oneself that also doesn't make sense. Which means nothing else then: The concept is not useful at any point in time on the path. It is a half-true half-false concept, making it completely false. Like every half-truth. If one wants to get home fast, better forget about it! Or use it with extreme care. I personally would rather recommend dissolving each and every concept, let real nonduality (an awakened state) ripen in an nonceonceptual empty mindstream, than playing Russian Roulette with such a concept. Ones separate self is not even dead when the shot goes off, but even more alive and bigger than ever.... Selling Water by the River
  14. @Judy2 Yes, a moral compass is a good analogy. Judgment is the steadiness of the needle, but it is only useful when an accurate map is being followed INFJs tend to troop off in whatever direction our current level of awareness tells us to go. It may be toward an oasis or off a cliff, but we march with determination to the inevitable end. The "N" in us can be honed to ensure we are carrying the correct map in the first place. As you have realized, behaviors that help us feel safe often cause more harm than good. Of course, we need form survival to continue experiencing the dream, but the truth is that most of what is required can be sustained on autopilot. This realization is especially poignant for people like INFJs who tend to maximize everything, including the suffering of misguided navigation. Instead of losing yourself in attempts to feel safe from external threats, or to secure happiness through external desires, the secret is to find yourself within. When it happens, the light of the absolute will burst through, and you will laugh at former attempts to protect that which can never be harmed. My advice is to find whatever tool that turns your attention inward. Maybe it's meditation, guidance from an awakened teacher, contemplation of writings like the Bhagavad Gita, or ideally direct self-inquiry. It's less about the method than about leveraging whatever method helps you enter the gate of absolute realization.
  15. Dear RedLine, valid questions, but answering them in detail would cause another waaay to long rambling from my side. The answers to your questions are in my previous posts. Please feel invited to check them out, and if you don't find something useful for your questions, feel free to send me a PM. Short answer is: Both Vedanta and Buddhist meditation system know and use Nondual states. The trick is how to get there. Latest when getting nondual states (and probably already before when you really start to get the emptiness nature of every thought arising, and can start to dissolve your own suffering-self-contraction-arisings), you will be hellbent to continue the path. Also, the paths starts showing itself to itself then. It goes "downhill" from there, not uphill. Because you have seen the benefits of the path there (bliss starts flowing). One could say that Vedanta and Theravada tend quite strongly towards concentrative methods, same as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali for example and Zen. But not exclusively. See Daniel Browns dissertation for example. The Mahamudra system has got some real unique techniques of combining concentrative and insight elements to learn to be able to ride along the mental talk of the mindstream in a lucid/mindful way. That way, you can use daily life very efficient to get the necessary momentum for for example nondual states and getting to impersonal Awakened Awareness. I can only highly recommend Daniel Browns Pointing Out the Great Way on that topic. And by the way, one can't say Buddhist practice style, there many systems in Buddhism. Theravada is very different from for example Tibetan Mahamudra. My personal opinion is that the Mahamudra-Sytem (for example in the book of Brown) is orders of magnitude more efficient than most other systems I know. Selling Water by the River
  16. Ken Wilber, One Taste: "Monday, March 24. With the awakening of constant consciousness, you becomesomething of a divine schizophrenic, in the popular sense of “split-minded,” because you have access to both the Witnessand the ego. You are actually “whole-minded,” but it sounds like it’s split, because you are aware of the constant Witness or Spirit in you, and you are also perfectly aware of themovie of life, the ego and all its ups and downs. So you still feel pain and suffering and sorrow, but they can no longer convince you of their importance—you are no longer the victim of life, but its Witness. In fact, because you are no longer afraid of your feelings, you can engage them with much greater intensity. The movie of life becomes more vivid and vibrant, precisely because you are no longer grasping or avoiding it, and thus no longer trying to dull or dilute it. You no longer turn the volume down. You might even cry harder, laugh louder, jump higher. Choiceless awareness doesn’t mean you cease to feel; it means you feel fully, feel deeply, feel to infinity itself, and laugh and cry and love until it hurts. Life jumps right off the screen, and you are one with all of it, because you don’t recoil. If you are having a dream, and you think it’s real, it can get very scary. Say you are dreaming that you are tightropewalking across Niagara Falls. If you fall off, you plunge to your death. So you are walking very slowly, very carefully. Then suppose you start lucid dreaming, and you realize that it’s just a dream. What do you do? Become more cautious and careful? No, you start jumping up and down on the tightrope, you do flips, you bounce around, you have a ball—precisely because you know it isn’t real. When you realize it’s a dream, you can afford to play. The same thing happens when you realize that ordinary life is just a dream, just a movie, just a play. You don’t become more cautious, more timid, more reserved. You start jumping up and down and doing flips, precisely because it’sall a dream, it’s all pure Emptiness. You don’t feel less, you feel more—because you can afford to. You are no longer afraid of dying, and therefore you are not afraid of living. You become radical and wild, intense and vivid, shocking and silly. You let it all come pouring through, because it’s all your dream. Life then assumes its true intensity, its vivid luminosity, itsradical effervescence. Pain is more painful and happiness is happier; joy is more joyous and sorrow is even sadder. It all comes radiantly alive to the mirror-mind, the mind that doesn’t grasp or avoid, but simply witnesses the play, and therefore can afford to play, even as it watches. What would motivate you if you saw everything as the dream of your own highest Self? What would actually move you in this playful dream world? Everything in the dream is basically fun, at some deep level, except for this: when you see your friends suffering because they think the dream is real, you want to relieve their suffering, you want them to wake up, too. Watching them suffer is not fun. And so a deep and powerful compassion arises in the heart of the awakened ones, and they seek, above all else, to awaken others—and thus relieve them from the sorrow and the pity, the torment and the pain, the terror and the anguish that comes from taking with dreadful seriousness the passing dream of life. So you are a divine schizophrenic, you are “split-minded” in the sense that you are simultaneously in touch with both the pure Witness and the world of the ego-film. But that really means you are actually “whole-minded,” because these two worlds are really not-two. The ego is just the dream of the Witness, the film that the Witness creates out of its own infinite plenitude, simply so it will have something to watch at the movies. At that point the entire play arises within your own constant consciousness. There is no inside and no outside, no in here versus out there. The nondual universe of One Taste arises as a spontaneous gesture of your own true nature. You can taste the sun and swallow the moon, and centuries fit in the palm of your hand. The pure I-I, the greatI AMness, breathes to infinity and creates a Kosmos as the Song of its very Self, and oceans of compassion fall as tears from your very own Original Face. Last night I saw the reflection of the moon in a cool clear crystal pond, and nothing else happened." Selling Water by the River
  17. You realize that he didn't read your post, right? he read it superficially taking everything as an affront But since you're writing, take the opportunity to respond by comparing himself to Jesus Christ or Martin Luther King, and to say that he receive tons of messages asking for advice, and to say that it's impossible to do better pointers that those he does, and how successful he is awaking people out of the forum. Awaking people! ?. Leo has been working for years and I'd like to know if he has awakened just one. Man...it's obvious.
  18. 1. I literally said I am not special= Humbleness. But again your corrupted mind filters out what is written because you only want to see what you want to see. 2. I have taken 4 tabs of LSD and all that happened is I entered a state that loved everything. If I lived from that state I would starve to death because I would love everything so equally there would be no point in me doing anything. This is why I laugh at all non-awakened people you guys are guessing what Enlightenment is because you do not live from that state. Like a poor man guessing what it is to be rich, or a virgin guessing what it is to get unlimited sex. 3. Clean enough? The only clean or not clean is do you DENY what you are. Everyone that has ever lived is equally clean. Jesus was not more clean than Trump. Trump is just IN DENIAL of what he is. 4. I don't want to be a professional guru = ANOTHER PROJECTION because you do not analyze you just project. If I wanted to be a professional guru why would I waste my time giving away insights for free? I would literally just write them down and publish them. I give them away for free, because I want all who want to awaken to get what they desire. Also...why would I promote Leo? Leo is literally getting free advertisement of me on here as I continually tell you what each video is pointing too. Even more I advertise Leo to my friends if they have issues in their life. So notice....you the one who needs to be humble is YOU. I am already awake, I experience Non-Dual all the time. You don't...so who is it that should be humble? Deconstructing biased commentary is so boring....I really wish you guys were capable of better discernment. Also here is some extra credit: Look at what Jesus did here. https://biblehub.com/john/2-15.htm When you neuter self-expression to only pleasant compliments and demonize the directness of accountability as an arrogance you blind yourself from the truth. I would rather someone yell at me to "Fucking get out the room you imbecile in a burning building, than for someone to tell me "You are perfect and always right, here let me help you" as they politely stab me in the back. You guys view delivery or tonality of a message as the message itself. The style of the delivery, and the image of the deliverer does not matter, all that matters is the message itself. Truth stands alone, it doesn't need pleasantness, it just is. Develop the skill of discernment by not being attached to the deliverer and the delivery style.
  19. @KGrimes You're right that the mind is tricky, and are wise to be wary of it. It takes deep inner insight, yoked with sincere integration, for the mind to become domesticated. There are good therapists out there, but you have to keep looking until you find the right person for you. It's true that most therapists aren't awakened, but all you truly need is someone that can provide a safe space and ask questions that help you find the answers within yourself. There's a reason one of the traditional paths of awakening is bhakti, or devotion with the guidance of a guru. It is all the same summit, just different paths of getting there, based on the individual dispositions and strengths of the aspirant.
  20. But awakening is not just feel everything as unity. You may have mentally convinced yourself of that, since it really makes sense and logic. but another thing is to live it. awakening is more a change in the way of experiencing the moment than a change in the way of understanding it, imo. if you experience in the awakened way, you can begin to understand. but understand first... mistake, that's deceit. For example, all this that everyone repeats here about I am God...seems total bullshit to me, May be I'm wrong but i think almost no one here has realized that. They have understood it from Leo's explanations. but they didn't realize it, they think that because they have understood it, they have really realized it. they are starting the house from the roof. You have to realize the things as if you had never heard anything about it, from a virgin mind, completely empty. Here the opposite is done. fill the mind with theory and then believe that you have realized it.

Many Psychedelic Experiences throw one here. Nondual, but not fully empty, Sense of transparent/pretty empty Self/Witness still well and alive. Roger Thisdell stage 3. 6: Wiping/Transcending/Killing the transparent Witness 7: One is No-Self. Nothing. Buuut: Identity with No-Self/Nothing, the perceiving or understanding of being Nothing. Still one arising/subtle identity/concept too much. A Portal to the Absolute. Awareness OF Emptiness. Awareness OF Being. Any Awarness OF is still not fully nondual. Even if Awareness OF Emptiness/Being/Infinite/whatever n+1 . Psychedelics can bring one here, if "one" gets already quite empty, but Individuality (very subtle/murky here) is still there. Roger Thisdells Stage 4: 8/9/10/11: Understanding and letting go even this last self-referential concept/thought/identity 12: Nothing. Pure Suchness. Infinite Consciousness so empty that there is not even a Watcher/Awarerer/Identity with No-Self. Final Enlightenment. Ultimate Reality itself. Only then, daily life is nondual, infinite, enlightened. And the bliss of ones True Being, NOTHINGNESS, flows freely. Really no separate self/individuality left. Only then one is really the whole Enchilada without any filters/lenses/localization of any separate self/individuality. The character keeps continuing doing its thing in ones True Self, Reality itself. The price of that: Any self-reflective awareness of being anything (separate) at all is transcended, and can be seen happening within oneself. Understood, and no longer believed, mostly just cut off (that Illusion again). And that is not even being the "No-Self Self" of Thisdells stage 4, or picture 7. To be fully everything in daily life (fully nondual) without any separation, one needs to be fully nothing at all. Totally empty. Any separate self, however subtle, fully gone. And the last remnants of Individuality or separate self can be very very subtle. Only that gets the permanent bliss and love flowing that has got its home in the Nondual True Self. "We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all. Kalu Rinpoche" Roger Thisdell Stage 5 And by the way, any just conceptual identity with anything (The THAT of I am THAT), That=anything, any CONCEPT. Body-Mind. Ego. World. Whatever. n+1), even with God/Reality/whatever, is picture 1 of the path in daily life. I AM THAT (That=God/Reality/whatever). Because it is normally not a nondual awakened state in daily life, but just some ideas taken away from a trip that got one to Nonduality. A hang-over of the trip, while being currently not at all in an awakened or nondual state. And hopefully it is at least this (a hang-over from a trip), and not just some pure conceptual trip without any change in states towards at least a bit awakening, and not just a pure head-trip. And actually a much worser starting place, because the lovely concept of being God blows up ones sense of self (THAT) tremendously. Neti Neti didn't get easier with making THAT bigger than it was before.... Pour encourager les autres.... Sorry Selling Water by the River
  22. 8 months of introspection and contemplation after full non-awakened understanding then it only took 3 trips and probably only 2-3 months of daily meditation. But I have tripped about 4 times total but I was already awake by the 4th trip. In those months I meditated like 10-12 hours every day. I discovered how corrupted human spirituality is with ancient dogma and discovered how much human spirituality lacks self-love. This is why I keep telling you guys, watch Leo's video on Self-Love and judge EVERY teaching on that principle. This includes every Spiritual Teacher's teaching including Leo, Jesus, Buddha, anything I or anybody posts on this forum etc. You guys waste your time arguing with Leo. The ONLY argument you should have with Leo is if anything he says is a violation of Self-Love. If it doesn't violate Self-Love, then SHUT YO GOT DAMN MOUTH. Why? Because a couple of things. 1. Leo is actually awake. 2. If you study his words carefully nothing he says actually violates the Spiritual Teachings of Others. He is just MORE DIRECT than them because they water it down so they can make money. He literally tells you this in his Solipsism video but if you REALLY contemplate what is being described you will notice he doesn't contradict them. 3. So if Leo is saying the SAME THING, LOOK for SAMENESS or ONENESS in his teachings. Don't look for differences. Looking for differences is what the ego does which creates conflict and distortion. Osho was awake, Jesus was awake, Sadhguru is awake, Rupert Spira is awake, Mooji is awake. So look at how their teachings compliment each other. While doing this...really contemplate what Self-Love is. All the people I just mentioned above have biases. Leo has biases, I have biases, Osho has biases, Jesus had biases, Sadhguru has biases, Spira and Mooji has biases. Their biases are going to corrupt their teachings. What is the bias? When they say ANYTHING is BAD. 4. You might say then why do I criticize the No Self awakening. The No Self awakening is a relative teaching that is designed for you to realize you are not the body. It serves that purpose. But NOTICE the No-Self awakening says...I AM NOT THIS. That is self-denial which means it is a corruption and delusion. Any denial of anything is corruption and delusion because Self-Love accepts everything!!! You will say but Self-Love would accept that delusion to which I will respond of course, but hatred, war, discrimination is all self-denial and it accepts that too so nice try. 5. The quality of any teaching denies NOTHING. Because....you are EVERYTHING so to deny any part of you is BULLSHIT!!! Now with that said, since many are too attached, a lot of times you have to engage in self-denial so you can BREAK your attachment. But after you break your attachment you will need to reattach yourself but now you reattach in a more expansive way. What I am talking about is addressed in this video. That is why after you say I am not this body and everything attached to it, the next awakening is all inclusive. You say instead I am not JUST this body....I am EVERYTHING!!! The everything is the SELF. The SELF is ALL-INCLUSIVE!!! To be all inclusive is to TAKE BACK YOUR AUTHORITY, YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY and realize you constructed EVERYTHING!!! When you claim something is JUST HAPPENING....that is bullshit!! YOU ARE HAPPENING!!! The HAPPENING IS YOU!!!! Saying it is just happening is like me taking a gun and shooting you and when the police say how did he die? I respond....a gunshot just happened....they will respond WHO did it? You be like....gunshot just happened.....that's bullshit!!! Notice that Spiritual People who are delusional feed you bullshit!!! Close your eyes...imagine you are a criminal. Imagine a victim walking and then the criminal shot him!!! Was all that just a happening? Or did YOU construct the entire thing in your mind and MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Notice in your direct experience.... YOU MADE IT HAPPENING because everything in that scenario WAS YOU!!!! So I just proved to you in your direct experience that NO-Self awakening is BULLSHIT!!! They told you...reality is a DREAM!!! It works EXACTLY LIKE A DREAM!!! Your human imagination is equivalent to reality!!! It just appears like it isn't. All limitation is JUST an appearance and THIS is how you fool yourself. Wanna unfool yourself? Play around with your imagination using the teachings and you will understand how you are fooling yourself!!! All awakening is....is realizing how you are fooling yourself!! That's it!!! These two videos on Youtube are the most direct pointers on Youtube. Also in your direct experience try to disprove Oneness but actually try to disprove it not intellectually, use the dream example again. In your imagination try to create an actual division outside of you. What you will realize, is a true division has never been in your experience. If something was truly separated from you...you couldn't experience it. If you ever experience anything then by default it HAS TO BE YOU. So what are you? A Mind. You are a MIND that becomes aware of itself when it dreams. This mind can appear and disappear. The ONLY MYSTERY of GOD is how the hell it can dissappear and appear. God is aware it is doing it, but it doesn't know HOW it is doing it....because there is no mechanism. You can do that right now. Imagine a basketball. How are you doing it? Science doesn't know. Science can only describe the process, it doesn't know what causes it. That's because it can never be known. So it just happens.....but YOU are doing it you just don't know how, but you are AWARE that it is you and you are doing it. So it can be said that YOU just happen and are aware you are happening. But that happening...is just an appearance made of nothing.
  23. Been recently given messages from those on the forums who are starting to understand what is being communicated so I'm glad. I was so ready to just throw in the towel but it's good to be reminded there are those who value truth and aren't here playing around. The passion I exude for this you cannot understand but I will give you an analogy. How would you feel if you were surrounded by poor people and you won the lottery and figured out how to help them all win the lottery? You constantly communicate to them how to do it and because of their arrogance they fight you on the methodology of winning it even though the truth is if you don't get the methodology exactly right you won't get the winning lottery ticket? Even worse you were able to be taught by those who won it previously and so you know all the traps or misunderstandings that a person being taught can fall in. Similar to how sometimes a teacher will pair a student who understands the lesson with a student who doesn't because they are closer to the students frame of reference and can simplify it often times in a way that is more easily understood than the teacher can. But you as the student who lacks understanding resist the guidance of the student who mastered the teacher's lesson. Hell you even reject the lesson of the teacher. Notice this....right now your baseline level IS NOT awake. YOU KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE. So why the hell are you arguing about the framing of something? What does that serve you? If you have a teacher who claims he is awakened and you have decided to listen...then why not take what is being given and investigate it to see if its true? Arguing from a non-awakened state with an awakened person on whether what they are saying is true is a waste of time. What you SHOULD be doing, which is what I did is ask questions and try to UNDERSTAND what they are saying and then seek to verify if it's true. If they are wrong you will DISCOVER that they are wrong!!! This is what REAL SCIENCE, REAL TRUTH seeking is!!! You investigate AFTER full understanding if what is being presented IS THE TRUTH!!! But no!!! Many of you sit down and philosophize, that is NOT TRUTH!!! That is just delusion and fantasy!!! You haven't verified anything!!! You haven't investigated anything!!! This is you. You talk about how you feel about something....and the awakened person sees the problem in PLAIN SIGHT....lol!!!! You deny the very issue you are trying to solve!!! You have no idea how funny it is to an awakened person to see you non-awakened people acting like this!!! This video is literally how you all look!!! ALL OF YOU!! It's why an awakened person only has to read what you write and they IMMEDIATELY KNOW if you are awake or not. Because it's obvious. Anyway....I'll just remember that some will come by who actually want truth and they will investigate and eventually break through and get to enjoy the gift of unlimited imagination of realizing that your human imagination is really the ABSOLUTE pretending to not be the ABSOLUTE and will thus make the ABSOLUTE their baseline realm of experience.
  24. Yes, understand & agree. " the absence of limitation is absolute life, absolute freedom, absolute love, because it includes everything . whoever realizes the absolute is the only one that exists, but his infinity excludes any solitude. there is no other, but as in a game of mirrors, there are infinite perspectives. you cannot understand it in a linear or superficial way". That is beautiful. And the "one" who realizes the Absolute is gone... replaced by the Infinite Totality that was always already the case. The previous separate self is seen through/transcended/emptied out/dead. A functional character remaining, but the separate self gone. Because how could IT be the Infinite Totality when "anything" separate or individual/individuality still arise&moves in it.... That is why some say no one realizes the Absolute, and that there can not be an enlightened person. I use Nothingness in the definition of Andrew Halaw, to contrast it with Nothing. Nothing has a opposite: Something. Nothingness is neither existence nor non-existence. Madhyamaka-style. Neither existing nor non-existing, nor both, nor neither. Infinite. Infinite Consciousness, or the One without a second. But that already says too much "positive" about "It". Andrew Halaw in "God is Nothingness": "This book is about Nothingness, the great Void of the holy sages, not to be confused with the nothing of the ordinary person. Silence. A blank page or space in a book. A shout. Slapping the table or thumping the floor. These are all expressions of the ineffable truth that is theuniversal nature of reality. Since there is no way to directly capture the highest truth with language, all we can do is point to it. And “Nothingness” is the best verbal pointer that I have found." In the beginning, there was only Nothing. Now there is only Nothing. In the end, there will be only Nothing. There always was, is, and only ever will be Nothing. God is Nothingness Christ is Nothingness Buddha is Nothingness The Tao is Nothingness Brahman is Nothingness The Absolute is Nothingness Nothingness is neither something nor the common nothing; it is the Great Nothing, the eternal, magnificent, all-encompassing Nothingness that transcends being, yet is the ground from which existence itself arises. In truth, there is only Nothingness, for nothing else ever was. Beings suffer because they do not understand Nothing. Intoxicated by their senses and minds, they chase mirages, construct temples, conduct empty rituals, pursue wealth and status, believing that there is something —meaning, purpose, salvation— to attain. Fools are slaves to their senses and thoughts, caught in the snare of form and desire, unaware that all things arise from Nothingness, abide as Nothingness, and return to Nothingness. For nothing has ever happened. Existence and appearance are flashes of Nothingness superimposed upon Nothingness. There are no beings, no worlds, no minds, no consciousness, no souls, no events, no time, no space, no Buddha, no Christ, no Self, no God. There is only the not-‘that’ That— the Great, Magnificent Void, the womb of all existence. NOTHINGNESS. Bound by neither space nor time, Nothingness is dimension-less, time-less, and form-less. The Void is unborn, unoriginated, unconditioned, and deathless, neither coming nor going, ‘creating’ nor destroying, rewarding nor punishing. It has never set anything in motion nor caused anything to happen. Ultimately, there is only Nothing, which is the final and only truth. Nothingness cannot be seen with eyes, nor heard with ears, tasted with the tongue, smelt with the nose, felt by the body, or known by the mind. Do not look for it with your senses or mind, for the Void is beyond color, sound, smell, taste, touch, form, and thought. Transcend them and realize that you are truly Nothing, that in reality there is only Nothing. Then you are free to dance and play on the waves of Nothingness. " and " Nothingness is not sheer blankness, yet neither is it being-ness the way that we ordinarily understand existence; it is the source and true nature of all beings. This is the “vast emptiness, nothing holy” of Bodhidharma, the legendary founder of Ch’an, Sǒn, and Zen Buddhism. Consciousness is neither present nor absent in Nothingness, for Nothingness is actually the root of consciousness. In truth, there is no such thing as consciousness; there is only Nothingness. Consciousness is instantiated Nothingness, as is all of existence. Frightened dullards, clinging to notions of existence, call Nothingness “nihilism,” unaware that Nothing is the exact opposite of deathly sterility; Non-being is the great womb from which everything arises, abides, and eventually returns. From a Buddhist perspective, “Emptiness is not a negative idea, nor does it mean mere privation, but as it is not in the realm of names and forms, it is called emptiness, or nothingness, or the Void” (Suzuki 60). Sunyata, as Nothingness can be called in Buddhism, or Tao in Taoism, sustains everything, including consciousness. It is the vast, empty void of Non-existence that the Buddha calls Nirvana, meaning “extinction” of all ‘being.’ It is what Nisargadatta Maharaj points to when he speaks of ‘Universal Consciousness’ or what Huang Po calls ‘Mind.’ Nothingness is prior to consciousness, as it is is with all phenomena. This is why Huang Po says, “Mind in itself is not mind” (Blofeld 34), meaning that the mind is truly understood only when its own emptiness is realized. For mind is Nothingness occurring as consciousness. When this is properly realized, mind become Mind with a capital “M,” not in the sense that some latent quality has been discovered that it is somehow beyond all conditioning, like some eternal super Consciousness or Witness at the base of our mind; but in the sense that when we realize our own universality as Nothingness, we awaken to our own unlimited nature. This is what sages mean when they talk about “primordial consciousness”; it is the realization that our minds transcend beingness alone, by extending into the core nor Non-being, into Nothingness itself. The mind, in effect, is simultaneously limitless (transcendent) and viscerally present (immanent). Hence, Nisargadatta calls it “Universal Consciousness” to express the insight into the universal Nothingness of our minds. Nothingness creates, supports, animates, and eventually recalls everything, yet is not bound to any single thing. It is the stars, but not limited to them. It is the earth and all of its inhabitants, but is not confined to them. Nothingness is the true nature of all existence. The Buddha, the Awakened One, is also called Tathata, meaning, “One who has arrived at suchness,” suchness being another term for the ineffable, mysterious reality of Nonbeing, sunyata, or Nothingness. We have risen from Nothingness, and to Nothingness we shall return. Therefore, ultimately there is no movement or nothing that ever happens, for everything is in fact Nothingness. “That which is before you is it, in all its fullness, utterly complete” (37). And yet the world continues to change and transform; the seasons come and go; people are born, grow old and die. Nothing changes and yet everything happens. Divinity expresses itself as an acorn, a mustard seed, a lump of coal. Humans, including their toils and vices, are all manifestations of the wondrous Nothingness. “Nothing[ness] is the inexhaustible, suprasensible power underlying all finite beings,” “the emptiness from which all beings are forged” (Chen 90, 92). Nothingness sings as birds, sighs as the wind, breathes as humans, and knows as mind. Once this is realized, there is nothing to worry about, for everything is an expression of Nothing. As the seminal Buddhist scripture, the Heart Sutra, says, “Form is Emptiness; Emptiness is Form.” Your truest nature is Nothingness. Mind and consciousness are in fact Nothingness. This is why Ch’an Master Linji called the Enlightened being a “person of no rank,” someone who can come and go freely. “No rank” means no fixed limitation, free and vast as the sky, bound by neither ‘being’ nor even Non-being. This is the infinite Nothingness of the sages. " and, maybe most important, Appendex I: Nothingness (Infinite Consciousness) has the potential for sentience/awareness, to have awareness arise if an "object"-arising happens. Or perceptions perceiving themselves, with our without separate-self arisings. So it is not Nothing, like in nothing at all. But infinite potential + potential for sentience of "that". See also Benthinos Water-Pistol emerging/manifested in an infinite empty vastness. " Appendix I Some readers may be wondering why I say that awareness is not the Absolute, despite the fact that so many ancient scriptures and eminent teachers say that they are identical. For instance, Nisargadatta taught that consciousness is rooted in (and therefore limited to) the physical human form, while awareness transcended the individual body and was actually the Absolute—that everything is Universal Consciousness. This is more of an instructive approach than a philosophical commitment. If pressed as to whether the Absolute is awareness or not, I would say, like Huang Po did, that, “Mind is not mind, yet neither is it no-mind.” In Nothingness, there is some degree of awareness present—it is not how most people imagine brain death—albeit unconditioned, object- and subjectless. The Consciousness (for lack of a better word) of Non-being is so subtle that the moment we try to reflect upon it to check if we are conscious, we are jarred back into ‘being’ and into our ordinary dualistic consciousness. I hesitate even to call this experience “pure subjectivity,” for that invites a metaphysical position that I am not willing to support. In the end, to paraphrase Socrates, all that I know is Nothing. This Consciousness has shed all of the characteristics that people normally identify with awareness, such as perspective, spatial and temporal contexts, objects, ownership, etc. Yet, if there were no awareness, then it would be impossible to differentiate the numinous Nothingness from how people conventionally conceive of blankness or being comatose. Personally, I think that differentiating between Nothingness and consciousness is helpful, and that is my ultimate goal—to help people realize Non-being or Absolute Consciousness. At that point, I can care less whether people call it Nothingness, God, Brahman, Buddha Nature, One Mind, Universal Consciousness, or a kangaroo. Names at that point, after the Absolute has been realized, are insignificant. " Since this is the first thread I started myself, I allow myself the liberty to blow it up with a waaaay to long ramling like the one above. Hope nobody minds... Selling Water by the River
  25. To awaken is definitely not just the "acceptance of Truth" (a concept), as you literally write in the quote above. Awakening is a change in state, for example the visual field getting nondual and infinite, and the "externalness" and "solidity" is replaced with unity and mere appearance. Along with this unmistakenable state-change there is a change in brainwaves, for example more gamma-activity. And its a change in self-identity, towards the "subject" becoming more empty/nothing/transcending. If one changes these states (for example nondual) often and long enough, these states tend to get permanent (transformation), supported by a more empty self-identity, until at one point one is both Nothing/Nothingness, and everything, the infinite nondual field. But what Awakening definitely not is: Just a change in the way of thinking, just a change in the way which concepts are used, and promoting these concepts (for example Solipsism) in an agressive way, and declaring awakening is just believing/accepting these concepts/ an "acceptance" of truth. That is what you are doing, and selling/promoting. Or where is your call to actually do the work, practice and meditate, and really transcend the separate self? Not just a call for different thinking and concepts (Solipsism,...), but an actual practice to induce these awakened states? Most of what I see you doing is promoting certain conceptual concepts/ideas/worldviews (mainly circling solipsictic concepts/worldviews), and harshly attacking anybody who has different concepts/worldviews. How is that different from what all other "nonspiritual" people are doing anyways? Defending their conceptual world-views, and attacking anybody who thinks differently in more or less open or subtle way, because its a threat to their own ego? A change in thinking/concepts is easy, everybody can do it. But if one doesn't have the corresponding awakened nondual states on which these changes of identity are based on, one is just doing wishful conceptual thinking. Replacing one ego/worldview with another, a horizontal move, not a vertical transformation of transcending the separate self. And that transcending is way harder than to just change ones thinking/separate-self/ego-concept. It means to sit down and practice for a long time (in whatever way, for example meditation) to actually induce these states of awakening. And these states then transform ones identity on a deep level. Selling Water by the River
