One of the new functions of all Mods, new and old alike, is to keep an eye out of dangerous/reckless activity on this forum.
What this means is, lock down threads and discussions which involve overly risking/reckless use of psychedelics or other methods which could lead to obvious harm or death. And post messages which inform the general public that such activities are dangerous and not what this forum or Actualized.org is about.
Our values here are about healthy and responsible use of psychedelics and other spiritual methods. Nothing that harms the body or leads people into clear danger (like taking 1000ug of LSD).
If you see someone who is unraveling in an unhealthy way, guide them to temporarily suspend their spiritual work until their mind and life stabilizes.
We want to cultivate an ethos of safety around here. We do not want to be associated with anything clearly reckless or dangerous.
And if people are talking seriously about Mahasamadhi, lock that down too. Nobody here should be considering Mahasamadhi.
And if you find anyone being suicidal you report that to me.

And how about empathy for women struggling to find stable long-term male providers?
How about we regulate the dating market such that you cannot sleep with a woman unless you show the government your bank account. And if your bank account has less then $100k cash, no sex for you.
The framing of this entire thread is itself sexist and deeply male-biased. It ignores the reproductive difficulties and agenda of women. Because this thread is just another lame attempt at making excuse for not talking to girls.
The excuses you guys invent are truly crafty. Anything to not talk to a girl.
You feel entitled to sex but you don't feel the need to work for it.
Regulating capitalism is a lot easier than regulating dating. Capitalism already has regulations in place, so tightening those regulations is reasonable and doable. And the excesses of capitalism affect all genders, races, peoples, rather than one segment of the population.

Basically do the work to move up the Spiral Dynamics stages. As we all move up the stages stuff like racism, selfishness, hatred, judgment, violence, war, terrorism, corruption, etc will all dramatically reduce. We don't really need aliens to help us with that. I doubt they even can.
Also, we need more material wealth and economic development. Much of the world is simply held back from developing themselves psychologically and spiritually because they lack basic safety and material conditions. You cannot self-actualize in a warzone.

When females are injected with testosterone, their sex drive increases and they are more interested in having casual sex without care for any guy in particular.
The sex drive created by testosterone is of such a character that it is indifferent to who it is having sex with. The female sex drive is different in that it is highly selective and tends to only want sex with one specific person. Whereas the male sex drives does not care who it has sex with.
This is difficult for females to accept and understand because to understand it requires having testosterone running through your blood. Which you actually could do. But then you might grow a mustache.
Male and female sex drives are quantitatively and qualitatively different.
But nothing I said is a justification for any kind of behavior. You can't derive an ought from an is. Certainly men can be in monogamous relationships. Although the more testosterone your man has the more sexual variety he will tend to demand.
Porn is actually a good way to keep your man from cheating on you, since it creates a sort of release valve. It helps to understand that your man is not falling in love with the girls in the porn. That's not how a man's mind works. Also, the porn is never as good as real sex, so you're not going to lose a man to porn.

That's not how it works for most people.
You could meditate for 1 hour per day for 40 years and never reach enlightenment. But if you combined all those hours into a single block that is 2 weeks long, you are way more likely to reach enlightenment. This is why hardcore retreats are so important and why most normies who do casual meditation will never reach enlightenment. Enlightenment is rare precisely because you can't build it up like a muscle in most cases, you need to go balls to the wall for a breakthrough, and most people are too unseriousness to meditate for 2 weeks straight.
It is possible to develop some meditation muscle slowly over years, but more than likely such weak sauce will not get you to radical mystical consciousness. This is why monks exist. It's just much more effective to go hardcore as a monk.

You have to understand that not everyone here is an honest actor. People here come to spam, troll, clickbait, hijack the community, start their own cults, spread ideologies, seek attention, act out their egos, vent their shadows, etc.

If you believe my work has ever promoted suicide, you should leave this forum because you fundamentally misunderstand my work and we will not get along. If you have a problem with psychedelics, if you believe psychedelics are bad, wrong, dangerous, untruthful, and not genuine awakening, you should also leave this forum because we have a fundamental disagreement that I will not be arguing with you about. My work and research is deeply intertwined with psychedelics. If you don't like that, then simply find a community or teacher who does the classic path.
In general, feel free to vent whatever grievances you have with me personally, or with my work. Whatever you don't like or disagree with. Lay all your cards out on the table so that we clear the air. This is necessary to create a non-toxic community going forward which is not constantly at war with itself. The general rule is this: don't waste your time and energy on things you do not align with. Think carefully whether this community aligns with your values, and if it doesn't, just let it go and move on to things that align with you.

I don't know the details. Connor lies so much that it's hard to tell what is true about him. Suffice it to say he's got serious issues which probably existed for a long time.

We regularly talk people down from suicide if they come to us and tell us explicitly that they wish to commit suicide. I spent 1 hour last week talking down Connor Murphy because he emailed me and told me he wants to kill himself. Then I discovered he was just trolling me.
So that is not the issue. The issue is that SoonHei did not explicitly say he wants to commit suicide. He alluded to it in vague, cheerful, and poetic ways -- and it's hard to spot that when we deal with hundreds of messages and posts every week.
The problem with suicide threats is that they are often trolling attempts for attention. This makes it difficult to distinguish who is serious and who is not. Depressive and mentally unstable people tend to threaten suicide a lot even when they don't really mean it. I used to have an ex-girlfriend who did that, and she was sometimes shocked when I called the suicide hotline for her. She treated it as a manipulation tactic to get sympathy and love. Don't forget how twisted and deceptive some people can be. And then on top of it they can get upset when you call the suicide hotline on them. The bottom line is that suicide prevention is not our job here. We do it only as a last resort when there is no other choice, but for that we need to be clearly aware the person is suicidal.

It does little good for someone who is suffering to tell them that suffering isn't real. They are in no place to care about such distinctions.
You also have no idea how much suffering they are in. You assume they can enjoy life like you, but if they seriously want to kill themselves then obviously they do not enjoy life like you. So it's a very difficult situation.

This is not a “conscious death” where one is entering a very powerful state of samadhi and transcends the traces of karmic bonds (which, even that is debatable). This is just suicide and a very irresponsible one at that as a result of needlessly confusing psychedelic states of mind with actual truth. That’s all that is. A reckless abandonment fueled by utter delusion.
