I ate almost entirely garbage during the early years of my life. It did affect me but I still had no major health problems. Just minor things.
As I did more consciousness work though, it felt like certain foods and substances become unbearable to me.
It’s like low consciousness can only run on low consciousness fuel, and higher consciousness can only run on higher consciousness fuel.

I am a 20 years old college student in my junior year studying computer science.
The truth is that:
·       I have no career skills (basic C++; console applications)
·       I do not have social skills and am unable to have relationships of any kind so far (and have no friends)
·       Have low self-esteem (though did sentence-stems work for 3 months from Six pillars of self-esteem)
·       Sometimes I get quite depressed and get into a rot where I just watch YouTube (watch George Carlin) and eat cheese, berries, and honey (this happened then this semester started)
·       Do not know how to talk (some times are better than others depending on my inner feelings).  
I quit meditation after a year of practice when I was 17 or so (was too painful -pushed too far, but it works, definitely), and just now after 3 months (I did not technically quit but missed a few days)
I live in a dorm in a city of 539,000 citizens and every weekend go back home to the village where my parents live (20 citizens).
I notice myself being happier on those days when I talk to people more.
My motivation for studying has declined close to zero, but in the previous semester, I managed to get a scholarship of 125 EUR (for comparison my dorm costs 55 EUR a month). Moreover, I am studying for free and don’t work anywhere= have a lot of free time (I consider starting doing some unqualified work because I better go earn some money than watch YouTube and eat.)
I am unable to not pay attention to cute girls on the streets, I feel cravings for some sort of connection. Today a beautiful girl sat next to me said hey and asked me about what the lecturer was saying (and our body language was the same) – It triggered a feeling. (But I also noticed myself feeling that I am not enough and somehow unworthy of this girl- At this point, I thought that my mind is full of shit).
I assume that this is a reason why I am passionate about the topic of how the mind works and how to change it.
My question: Should I learn to socialize/ pickup during college or do something else like career skills? Maybe I can do both of these at the same time?
Honestly, I feel fake writing this because I feel close to zero motivation to do anything right now and it makes me sad. I need to change my mind, that’s for sure. And Vision.

It's especially bad with pro sports because to have a serious chance at competing you must start training as young as possible, well before the age of any reasonable consent.
With other professions, STEM, etc you don't need to start so young and you don't need to be so groomed into it. Those other professions are also not as competitive, they are more collaborative and creative. In sports you literally need to beat everyone else to succeed and all you get is a stupid medal and sponsorship money.
Kids are groomed into classical music this way too by parents.
It's the same reason why having sex with children is bad. Because the child doesn't have enough intelligence to say NO. The child isn't freely choosing it, he/she is being manipulated and pressured into it.

When I would go to Shinzen Young's retreats I would just meditate by myself outside away from everyone else.
Then I realized, why the fuck am I not just doing my own solo retreats? And thus the solo retreat was born.
But you may be different. You may benefit from the structure and camaraderie of a group retreat.

The more you feel and think internally "this girl is a hot one" or "this one is different" the more it will f*ck you up. Thats what every normal dude does. They treat hot girls like they are angels from another dimenson.
It's best to see it the opposite way: the hotter the girl, the more normal the human you have to treat her.
Hot girls are used to needy guys putting off the energy and vibe towards them that "oh my god this girl is a 10 I would do anything to be with her".
So the less you give off that vibe, the more attractive you will be. The more you will stand out.

@Uncover Our culture these days is very toxic, materialistic, and dysfunctional. Video games contribute a lot to that. They ruin your ability to be do consciousness work quite badly. When your mind is addicted to mental stimulation, like video games, how can you sit and contemplate life? How can you meditate? How can you do yoga? How can you self-reflect? It will be too boring. Your mind will be craving easy entertainment like crack.
I would suggest you apply mindfulness to your video game habit and notice how ultimately unfulfilling it is. The pleasure is hollow. There's no real satisfaction to be had there. Even the very best video game gets boring and lame after a week or two. And then what are you left with? Boredom and suffering.
Start to notice this larger meta-pattern. That will help you to ween yourself off games. You are 22 years old. It's time to grow up. You should be focused 100% on building your life, your career, your skillset, your relationships, and developing your consciousness. The time for games is over.
Life IS the ultimate game! Master IT. The joys of mastering life are beyond anything any video game can offer you. But it's a mature kind of joy. Not the sugary joy of video games.
Try starting a daily meditation practice. Notice how difficult it will be for you.
As far as girls go, you need to expose yourself to massive experience with girls to fix that problem. Look into pickup, but be careful not to buy too much into the dogma. The key for you is to be going out every weekend and talking to lots of girls. That will auto-correct many issues as far as dating goes. Stop looking for 1 girl and start learning how to attract all girls in general.

To have a reasonable chance of success in the Olympics you gotta start training before you are in your teens. At that age you know nothing and some adult has to enroll you into that shit. I could enroll kids into cannibalism at that age by showing them some well crafted cartoons.

There may actually be a correlation between one's level of consciousness and how sensitive your body/brain is to toxins. Notice that a high performance sports car requires superior fuel to travel the same mileage. High performance machines tend to be more sensitive and fragile, requiring higher precision in their operation.
There are some people who smoke a pack of cigarettes a day their whole lives and never get cancer. But are these highly conscious people? Would you really want to trade places with them even if they live to 100? Trump will probably live more years than I do, but I don't regret that one bit.

My own view is that Spiral Dynamics is much better used as a sociological model for looking at the interplay of how value systems arise, interact, and come in to conflict with one another.
While it can be made applicable for individuals by giving a rough approximation of what sort of value system(s) they subscribe to, I would argue that this isn't the model's main strength.
Just knowing that two individuals have a center of gravity at Blue for instance doesn't tell you a whole lot about them, since Spiral Dynamics merges several different lines of development (cognitive, ethical, spiritual, etc) down to a single axis as part of its reduction base. At best it can tell you what aspects of the collective value systems that are out there that a person has internalized, but it doesn't really tell you the depth or complexity of that individual's understanding within that paradigm.
For instance, Marcus Aurelius and George W. Bush are both roughly at Blue, but are worlds apart as far as the depth and complexity of thier understanding of Reality 
If you're looking for a personal development model, you'd probably be better off using something like Suzanne Cook Greuter's Stages of Ego Development model. Or if you're looking for a model with a large body of emperical validation, then the Big Five Personality Traits model.

I don't really want to hassle of organizing meditation retreats. Meditate solo. You don't need to meditate in a herd.
My meditation is getting very simple and bare bones. Just sit and focus on the fact that I am God.
Health problems have kept me from doing yoga consistently.
I also try to meditate more in everyday life, like if I am cooking, driving, or even if I'm out gaming. Gaming has been surprisingly meditative for me as I have to completely shut off my mind when I game. I try to game from a state of no-mind.

It's like playing with a dog or child. You don't try to be all smart or sophisticated about it.
Playing with her is what gets you laid. Being serious is what gets you friendzoned.

It's better not to look at this issue as one of race but ethnicity. Up until 50 years ago humans have all been extremely ethnocentric.
