Agree. AI is so dangerous that we cannot think what it can possibly do. But I'll try to do my best here: Leo said that he reached a new level of Consciousness: Alien Consciousness. I don't know what Alien Consciousness really IS. Assuming that Alien Consciousness is 10x more profound, capable and intelligent than Human Consciousness. Imagine an AI with THAT power/complexity/intelligence running millions of calculations per second about all ways to control and kill humans. Then imagine THAT intelligence growing and growing and growing, becoming more powerful and intelligent. We can understand more here: The AI-Alignment problem is one of the worst things we'll face in this century.

I believe he's confused alien with egotist.

@StarStruck It's complicated, based on developmental factors like stages of development, cognitive and moral development, personality types/traits, ego development, states of consciousness, life experiences and other lines of development per life-society domain, and ideological beliefs in your mind. Also, Just because @Leo Gura would have to defend himself from a murderous psychopath /=/ his philosophies including spirituality and alien consciousness and other complex modals of reality and psychology go out the window. There's a mistake in assuming that one's behavior must always align with one's belief systems and their justifications. No, actions can diverge from your said beliefs systems and justifications, so @Leo Gura defending himself isn't a contradiction, but rather out of love he defends himself from this imaginary psychopath because the psychopath is part GOD, Leo is part GOD, and this imaginary self defense situation and all it's experiences is part GOD, so there's no contradiction but only what is assumed and projected by YOUR EGO MIND! -

Do you think Bashar is alien awake / has achieved alien consciousness? -
StarStruck replied to StarStruck's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
You do too. If a psychopath was in front of your door all your fancy philosophy including alien consciousness would fly out of the door. One can understand it is all a grand play and then understand one must partake in the battle as explained in the Bhagavad Gita. -

? wait till you awaken to "Alien Bullshit ". Where did I insult people? Can you please show me an example? So let me get this right ..you are saying everyone on this forum only exist In YOUR MIND..yet they are "relatively " less conscious than you ..which is something you're imagining ? Then who are you angry about? People that don't even fucking exist outside your mind ?? Then Why ban Nahm ,Gesundheit, Consilence, and now Moksha on the way ? -

@Carl-Richard Dreams within dreams? Imagination is inherently relative. Look at the conclusions of quantum physics, which are just another way for the absolute to realize itself, within its imagination. How could the cosmos be absolutely real, if time and space depend upon perception? Eventually as the dream unfolds, science and spirituality converge into truth. The cosmos is constructed on the scaffolding of false dualities. Every apparent dimension (life/death, cosmos/void, existence/non-existence) necessitates its opposite. It's the illusion of separation, where there is none. Solipsism, Infinity of Gods, Alien Intelligence, and Absolute Insanity are ideas. There are no true ideas, only some that point more clearly to the absolute than others. Your observation about the relative reality of insights, whether on psychedelics or otherwise, is spot on. They are unconfirmable, and inherent to the dream. Insights are only useful to the extent that they dissolve the idea of you. -

I’m not. I am pursuing self-actualization. I think it is dumb to pursue self-deconstruction when I haven’t even built my self up first to begin with. You can’t put the cart before the horse. The only way to awaken is through psychedelics, and I am not ready for that. Also, you can see my post on Awakening is a Self-deception. If Awakening is the absence of duality, that means Awakening and Deception are one. The more I see Leo go deeper into this work, the more I realize that at a higher level of consciousness, all my insights at this level of consciousness are subpar relative to higher levels. Look at his Solipsism insights, Infinity of Gods, Alien Intelligence, and Absolute Insanity. It’s like the higher you go, the more one pulls away from social/human reality. The deeper one goes, the more they realize that their previous level of consciousness was a lie. But your level of consciousness can go up Ad Infinitum. So that means that at an even higher of consciousness, all of Leo’s current insights will be wrong relative to that new dimension of consciousness. Where does it end? It doesn’t. Awakening is a Deception. That is the game I am seeing being played here by all spiritual folks. Edit; Here’s a thought experiment. What if Leo or some serious spiritual seeker tries a brand new psychedelic that contradicts all the insights gained on 5-MeO. How would we know which psychedelic leads to the best true insight? How can we trust the validity of the insights gained on the brand new psychedelic? How about 5-MeO? What if the Devil made this brand new psychedelic to go deeper into Absolute Delusion? How would you tell? How can you verify the truth-validity of a psychedelic when different ones give you contradictory insights? I wish Leo and other spiritual people would deconstruct psychedelics like they did with science and religion. Because at a higher level of consciousness, psychedelics are also imaginary like science and religion??? But saying that everything is imagination means nothing is imaginary and it is all real. If science is imagination, what is it imaginary relative to if everything is imagination? See the problem? -

@Max1993 I dont know I have never done it, I have only done shrooms twice One time i saw god and the next I saw alien. But its not about trying to articulate truth its about getting an understanding of it. When you do you will know you will have a physical reaction, or metaphysical reaction. It will feel physical but all reaction is metaphysical you will see -
Even though I don't know what Leo means by that, I do know that I am weird which makes me an alien around people. ? Also, you too. The world is our lab and people are the rats.? It has certainly made me more philosophically minded. I don't know why the word rat is popular in this forum.? I guess, because I was absent for 2-3 months.

Bro exactly this ? For me it's so much nicer to function solo and not have a regular social circle. That way my interactions, even casual ones, stay very interesting and meaningful. Like every new social interaction is something to learn from, like I'm studying humans or something. Maybe I'm the alien Leo keeps talking about ?

Holy macaroni... as much as I love to watch a good old ideological mud slinging contest, can we all just agree to disagree? Here's an idea: Let us nondualists pursue freedom from conceptual thinking and egoic attachment, let Leo and his groupies take the psychedelic express train to Alien Insanity la la land, and everybody's happy. Sound good? -

At least it prevented people from going "Alien Insane" -
Moksha replied to ardacigin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I agree. Awakening is realizing who you are, and for most people it happens over and over again. Enlightenment is remaining awake within the dream. Lucidity deepens the more you dissolve. @Water by the River The challenge of marketing spirituality is that you constantly have to oversell yourself. Your paycheck is only as good as your latest, most profound insight. What comes after nonduality > alien intelligence > infinity of gods? Instead of selling water by the river, teach people to draw living water from within themselves. -

@Leo Gura Dude this word has been having me laughing for DAYS now ahhaha. Especially that one Insight post about Alien Insanity, the way you talk about "Non-dual Buddhist rats" -
In the last two days I’m hearing weird noises in my house. I think it is alien consciousness trying to communicate with me but I don’t understand their language

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful response. I must admit in retrospect I wasn’t very careful with my words, I didn’t intend a blanket statement of all forum users rather it was aimed at the significant proportion of users that clearly are unbalanced and at risk of a psychotic episode. Up until now I have only been an observer of this forum and please Leo if you read this do know that you have changed my life, I adore your work and I’ve followed your content for many years now. however recently there has been a lot of talk of insanity, alien consciousness and alien insanity and Leo seems to be drumming up excitement around these ideas. Leo is a veteran user of these substances and I assume that most people that read this forum are not. Even Leo has quoted in the past that he was awake at night suffering from multiple alien awakenings, how many people here are going to have the mental resilience to handle that without it negatively affecting there lives? there is nothing fun or to be gained from insanity, I’m a mental health professional and I see people frequently that have been triggered by recreational drugs into psychotic episode and yes this includes psychedelic use. again I apologise if I offended anyone here it’s just if even one person here ruins there whole life by triggering a latent mental illness and that could be avoided then surely any offence caused pales in comparison in severity to the life that’s been ruined.

And hey! you can actually contact that Ultimately Reality that I'm speaking off. It is just not what you think it is. Those insights Buddhists speak of constitute the very nature of that ultimate reality and you can be conscious of them right now! Not via alien awakenings or having bombastic conscious experiences that veer one's constuctions further into 'I'm a being that is omniscient (first of all, all sense of separation is an illusion so you cant even be a 'being' so to speak) AND can control 'reality' (which again implies duality) directly via getting even more conscious' etc. It is easy to slip into that mode when the very experiences that your mind constructs in psychedelics is very convincing. But there is such a thing as a 'mistaken insight' You misinterpret it and reach the wrong conclusion through the same experiences. So don't put psychedelics on a pedestal and think 'it is 100% the truth downloading to your consciousness' or whatever. Sure it is very close to that actually but there is a significant chance of misinterpretation still Especially when you are so attached to said experiences for your entire spiritual development like Leo. -
ardacigin replied to ardacigin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well just keep going in your own dream analogy. You realize that 'Arthagoaan' fella is sleeping and is living in a different 'dimension' so to speak. My point is from your 'dream' landscape (while you are sleeping at night) is NOT all there is to reality. When you do wake up (both figuratively and literally in this case), you see that there is a new 'constructed' reality that INCLUDES your dream reality (Arthagon waking up from the dream as a person. Washing their face, living their lives). So that dream landscape ıs NOT all there is to reality. There is Ultimate Reality that FULLY includes and is one with your dream landscape but it is much larger and is NOT a part of 'ALL MIND' as subset. It is the higher order. A reality your mind CANT even access directly with your human brains even with the best pscyhedelics or meditations. Thats the insight into Emptiness and it truly is an eye opener. Especially considering Leo is extremely intoxicated with the idea that 'The conscious experiences are really important. They are all you know. There is NOTHING that is higher order than this. This is it!' sorta mindset. It is all the foundation that rests on his solipsistic and 'all mind' position. Not even realizing his alien awakenings are jus as unimportant as that coffee table and conscious experiences OVERALL are ultimately meaningless due to insight into emptiness and impermanence. -
To me what you're saying is very important. I'm not addressing whether Leo is right or wrong in his response because Idk. I'm staying away from that, but what I will say, is your response to him sounds good on the surface and shows caring for how Leo responds to questions on the forum and the advice he gives in relation to how his forum following receive and implements those said advice. However, when you boldly make the claim that EVERYONE on the forum WILL take his advice whether directed to them or not is not a true statement and sounds "cult like". This is not a cult, and not everyone will take his advice and implement them. I'm not saying he doesn't give good and sound advice, what I'm saying is, remarks like that insinuates that we don't know how to think for ourselves, and maybe that is true for some but not for all. It is very important for me to say to you that I'm not trying to tell you how to respond to anyone and how you SHOULD express yourself however you choose, but what I can do is make the suggestion to you that it would probably be more effective and sound advice to say to us, not leo, in respect to the original advice he gave about the insanity issue for us not to take every advice from Leo and implement them because sometimes he can be wrong and for us to think about them ourselves and to use proper judgment in how we take advice from others because sometimes they may not be suited for everyone and may be applicable for some depending on your state of being and level of understanding and consciousness. Yes, he does have a responsibility and should be wary, as you say, for the advice he gives, but we also have a responsibility to teach ourselves how to think and to make decisions for ourselves because in the end it all lies on us to obtain the results we want to achieve. Personally, I do respect and listen to most of Leo's advice on certain issues, not all, because there are other areas of life and other people I can turn to if I believe they're more suitable for me in regards to advice I may need to help in my own decision making. To me, Leo is a genius, but then he's also human, even though he claims to not be and is now an alien. Don't quote me on that, though.

Yea spirituality misses SD yellow structure. It is so confusing. Why is it hard for a spiritual teaching to make a scale from most easy awakening to most difficult awakening? Like first understand non duality, than understand solipsism and then understand alien consciousness. I do believe there are overarching principles in spirituality. These need to be defined and put together for students. Otherwise it is just a mishmash of ideas. It is no wonder that human spirituality is in such a dire state. -
The genius of being a genius is that nobody can understand what you're saying well enough to disprove it Gödel was just pointing out that even genius mathematicians can't agree on a common set of assumptions. So not only is the body of knowledge built on a shaky foundation of unprovable assumptions, but the foundation itself constantly shifts. In other words, Socrates was right about knowing that we know nothing. Absolute knowledge is only directly realized. It's beyond the capacity of any conceptual mind (human, alien, or god) to comprehend.

I thought your new course would be on alien consciousness ?

Human: make distinction between what’s good and bad. Alien: intuit what’s right given the contextless context.
