awakening is something that happens, not something you become aware of. it is a fundamental difference. in the awakening, the you that searches, that analyzes, that plans, stops, and reality manifests itself. the limits dissolve and existence is. You cannot look for it because the fact of looking is a limit, you can carry out actions and have attitudes that promote this event. You keep hitting the wall every day until one day the ice breaks, you change frequency, you go from software to hardware. After , all that talking about solipsism, reincarnation, etc., they are conceptualizations that you create when you re-install yourself in the software and analyze. you cannot tell if they are false, only that they belong to the realm of the conceptual mind. what you want is not to know things with your conceptual mind, it is to pause the mind and be without limits for a while each day. then, if you are smart, I think you will stop trying to know when you are in the conceptual mind and just enjoy life, since trying to know is greed, or as sellingwaterriver would say, contraction. there is only one thing to know: what you are and being unlimited reality tells you everything you need to know because it tells you what you are. That's it, you already know everything, the rest is irrelevant. reincarnation or solipsism has the same importance as the next apartment you are going to live in. relative importance. Belongs to the realm of the mundane. Could be interesting to know those things, same it's interesting to know about politics. But that's not spirituality. Spirituality is just become limitless.

@Water by the River yyesterday I had an awakening experience, and today I was thinking in what you use to say about enlightenment. I wrote this: yesterday I had an experience that I can't call anything other than enlightenment. I have been thinking a lot about states of consciousness, awakening, understanding, and I was clear to me hat everything is a matter of levels of depth, and that these are infinite. Yesterday morning I took 20 ug of lsd, low but it has a profound effect on me. it allows me to interact with people but at the same time be in an open state, with the flavor of lsd fully present. around 8:00 p.m. in a park I smoked a single puff of weed. I sat down and started thinking about the couple, the sex, and suddenly, something happened. my mind opened completely. the mental flow stopped completely and my being opened, like a plant, leaving an empty hole inside. suddenly, there was no more human, there was no more mind, zero. there was only existence. bright, pure, limitless. laughter. that was. that's it. nothing to understand, nothing to know, all that belongs to the human mind, any comprehension was implicit in existing, there were no more questions, this is what I am, life or death does not matter, reincarnation or whatever, they are all mental stories. brilliance, perfection, recognition of myself as a completely impersonal, free, unlimited existence. nothing to interpret, I stayed in that state for a couple of hours, smiling. that is what I was looking for, the complete purity of the existence that I am. It is not a high state of consciousness, it is the complete purity of consciousness. It cannot be raised any higher because it is beyond the levels, it is simply the total absence of mental contamination. is to be. It is complete joy, my true nature, it cannot be better, there is no more ambition. It is something that if you tell someone, they will find it boring, lacking in content, lacking in future prospects. it is simply being, but same time it's everything. But now I'm doubting. It's hard to believe in God, reincarnation, intelligence, heaven or something. Yet I believe, but when it comes to choosing between this world and taking a leap of faith and jumping into that, I can't. Yet I want to end this meaningless and painful existence that can only get worse from here. Asap. But it ain't working. I can't live and grow nor can I die. Is my additional suffering and years spent here on Earth going to contribute to a better afterlife or can I die any time and have the same good fortune in another life? It is hard to even believe in this sometimes. I read stuff on Quora, and Reddit, but hard to believe.

Even if that occurs, nothing prevents God from dreaming new dreams. That would just be a temporary pause from dreaming. The present moment is Eternity. Be careful not to limit Eternity to an empty state. Your toilet is Eternity too. From what I understand Consciousness is always free to stop or start dreaming. In effect this results in "reincarnation". You can think of it like a TV screen that can always be on, or could be switched off or on in any sequence or duration. In this view Mahasamadhi would be like leaving your TV off while you go on vacation for the summer. But summer passes in the blink of an eye and soon you're back wielding the remote.

It finally clicked. I was trying to solve this riddle for about a year. What I really find interesting of Leo Gura is the use of tautolgy as his methodolgy. Solipsism is a tautology. Experience is absolute truth as experience is absolute = solipsism. The inherent quality of something makes it true, that´s why through a leap of councioussness you know that experience is concioussness, because it IS a leap of councioussness = tautolgy = true. Then I came across a video about Wittgenstein, who disproved solipsism. The prove goes around those lines. If we feel sad and can say that we feel ourselves sad, it´s because we can attribute a particular state of our experience or concioussness, which would be sadness, to a word, which would be sad. But we had to learn this word at the first place. Because instead of saying "sadness" one could use his own word "Dickintheass". So there has to be someone else, with his own and other experience and therefore councioussnes of sadness prior to us explaining to us that the state of sadness is called "sadness". So we´ve come across two absolute trues that are in direct opposition to each other. So how do we solve this? There had to be a hypothetical first person to have had this first conciouss experience of "sadness" and to attribute a particular word for this experience, so for being capable of that he needed understanding, for understanding he needed concioussness, his concioussness was absolute for him, we could say that it was his absolute solipsistic concioussness and that´s why reincarnation is real in an infinite echochamber of absolute solipsistic concioussnesses giving in this example, the word "sadness" through generations and generations of one´s self, splitted apart. It has to be this way, because love couldn´t exist any other way. If there is no one to share with, than there is no one to love. Eventhough I´m still not so sure about that part, as love is also the reunification of everything. Maybe through the process of loving we all unficate into one single being, but I got no prove for that, that´s just speculating, but it would awnser the question of meaning. It also makes me wonder if all this proving is also a direct metaphor pointing at me, because I´ve thought for myself, what if all absolute trues are just metaphorical understandings in disguise, but that´s quite psychotic and dark and I would classify it as insanity, which quite frankly, I like to tap in here and there, but after 3 months of a psychotic episode, I feel this inherent quality of one´s self deception getting caught in an absolute relative solipsistic trap, because at the end you get into the trap of "Absolute knowing is impossible and that is absolute" without having any evidence and spinning one´s own stories. I would attribute this to serious trust issues I have, but I´m working on that through going through the earth chakra.

@jimwell I agree that the basic principle of Buddhism, escaping from suffering, stopping the wheel of reincarnations to melt into nirvana sounds cowardly and anti-life. as well as dogmatic. reincarnation wheel? nirvana? concepts. I don't believe in them, are just ideas that Buddhism tell you to believe busism has a highly negative basis: life is a problem from which one must escape. that is completely false. reality is for love, and buddhism is sad negativity. Suffering is love .

In which countries is suicide allowed? Where is it not punished by some psych ward or something? I ate some bread, it was delicious but not good. Having problems with my digestive system. Anyway, which countries even encourage suicide? Are there even such places on Earth? I'm sorry for my negative thinking. I just need suicide. Does God accept it? Is there Karma to be paid for it? If you die and you understand what you are you wont die or will remain conscious after you die. If you dont you will lose control of your consciousness become unconscious and be forced into a reincarnation through manipulation by the aliens or whatever the fuck it is can keep you trapped and recycle your infinite energy. But they can't force you if you know what you are. I always strategically try to do the least work as possible to get results as fast as possible. Whatever work I am able to do don't even come close to what I understand by simply watching Leo do it. I do make a lot of progress, but comparing with Leo there is 20 times more to go as much as I have come. So it is simply more efficient to watch Leo when he already did most of the work for me. It's just being strategic not lazy. I want to know about reincarnation, aliens and demons. I want to know the farthest extend of goodness and evil. I want to know what's the worst that can happen? Real mythical shit. But I don't want a cultural dogma attached to it. That ruins all the fun.

Maybe someone who understands those religions can advise, but I do believe reincarnation and the "cycle of death and rebirth" has nothing at all to do with a soul being with you at birth and leaving at death and entering another thing like an animal. I believe they are probably referring to change moment to moment. So any thought changing in your head is death and rebirth. And karma rather than being about doing good or bad is their word for cause and effect.

Ever since I was a teenager, the TV in my living room was always displaying scenes of torture and murder. I couldn't stop watching what was on the TV. I mean, what if the stuff in the TV happened to me one day? Everyone will go through something like that some day, right? If not in this life time, I will reincarnate into some other life, and what is happening in the TV will happen to me anyways. I can't bear the burden of having what is happening on the TV happen to me. There are many shows on the TV about reincarnation, so it's entirely possible that I would be transported to that type of reality as well. After all, there are no limits to reality. I could try commiting suicide to try and prevent what is happening inside the TV from happening to me, but I am here for eternity, so that won't work. Oh god, is there ANY way to escape from what is happening in the TV? It's impossible.

The essence of all 8 billion puppets is the absolute, and it is inevitably at the mercy of itself. How many puppets jump out of the box on the first crank? It takes tremendous pressure before the coil has collected enough suffering to spring. As you say, the majority will remain trapped within their conceptual box their entire lives. Some suffer less, some more, but a few leverage their suffering to break free from their false identity and become lucid within the dream. Reincarnation is an idea that the psyche continues its journey through the cosmos until it's ready to surrender. Certainly possible within relative reality, but it's only a belief. People tend to think of enlightenment as binary, but there are gradual degrees of freedom within the dream. It's more like a slow-motion movie, where light seeps through the barest crack in the box, as the crank continues turning, and the puppet slowly emerges until it is entirely free. The deeper the realization and integration, the less you suffocate and the more free you become. Eventually in the perpetual state, the puppet wakes up, leaves the box, and is reunited with its creator, which is itself. I like what Razard86 said, "When the human dies, the whole world/universe dies with them. The appearance disappears until there is a new appearance." IMO it depends on the person. Some people may create a hellish reality. Some may create a similar reality where they still exist on Earth as a "ghost." I think most people eventually "ascend" to a heavenly like reality, which initially may not include visiting their friends and family from their Earth life. Eventually a great deal of "deceased" loved ones ascend to a reality where they may "descend" to Earth to visit their loved ones. That doesn't mean they will invade upon your privacy. They usually visit, often to help you throughout your life and in whatever ways they can. I believe the common construct frame work in this "universe" and the various surrounding layers is reincarnation until one "graduates" off the wheel of life. And for Earth humans that usually consists of a physical death, followed by a life that typically lasts 75 to 300 years, which in itself dies in a flash of light, which may be followed by yet another life in the "mental realms" of immensity, which may be followed by the "Soul" descending to the Earth realm in the reincarnation plane where the soul will quickly find a mother. And from there the soul will stay in the mother's energy field.

Oh my god, so much science fiction in one video: It's cool they're working on self replicating robots, but again, consciousness is fundamental to the universe, therefore it requires no outside 3rd person replication or whatever, it's already self replicating via KARMA and reincarnation, starting from formlessness, into form, then when the form is getting destroyed it returns into formlessness to then form into something else. No computation needed, we already have a lot to deal with A.I programs disrupting some livelihoods of people, we don't need self replicating robots now in 50 years.

The guy is difficult to listen to, but give it a go. Indeed, think about it: did "your direct experience 10 seconds ago" happen? Did it EXIST? Does it NOW? Well, "the direct experience of @WeCome1 typing out this answer" exists to the exact same extent as "your 10 seconds ago". The difficulty of wrapping your mind around this is, as @OldManCorcoran tirelessly points out, due to the idea you currently have that there are points of view which belong to some entities (subjects of perception); doesn't matter if you conceive of those entities as "points of perception", or "fields of perception smeared all over the phenomena", or some "void that is aware" or anything else, does not really matter. As long as there is any sort of a "subject" - it is, implicitly, finite. And, since it is finite - it must either be one (which points to solipsism) or many (which is a more conventional view). I will not discuss solipsism (Razard is doing a fine job, check any of his threads). But the paradigm of "many subjects", almost by definition, implies that the point of view of each of them exists "somewhere", in parallel with yours; this is what you currently feel like is happening, correct? However, if, hypothetically, we were to get rid of the notion of there existing those entities-subjects, we would not need to jump through all those hoops regarding "what experiences exist, and where do they go when nobody's looking, and do they interact in any way, and what if a tree falls in the forest when nobody's there to hear it?.." It solves, by discarding as irrelevant, the questions of deep sleep, death, reincarnation, karma (belonging to someone) etc. There is this giant, total, infinite "mind"; within it, in the state of "super-position", are all potential "experiences" that could be experienced; they "are" there in a sense that they could become manifested in it; and they "aren't" - in a sense that this mind "forgets" them when it focuses on or manifests another experience. You tell me, how many of those there "exist". But it's all just words. More concepts attempting to describe THAT; a hand trying to grab itself. You don't need it, it's of no use. What you do need is to learn how to achieve the clarity of mind necessary for this to either become self-evident or get disproven as a neo-advaita bullshit another forum member is parroting.
