Every serious trader knows that the current market is overheating and due for a major downturn. People are buying up stocks like fools. The PE ratios are all high. There are no cheap buys. Every major tech stock is at its all time peaks. This is not the time to be buying, this is the time to be selling.
Google, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Apple -- all have hit their all time peaks just recently. All are looking overpriced. None of them are good buys now. It's 10% upside 90% downside.
If you don't understand this you should not be investing in stocks because you will lose your pants.

Rather than seeing is as something you have to do, find a way to make it something you love to do.
In general, don't do things because you have to, do them because you want to.
This means being proactive about your work. It's not really work then, it's creativity. Don't you want to be creative? Why not? You are God after all! You created the whole universe and creation is a beautiful and exciting process.
You're disconnected from your creativity. That's your problem. Find a way to reconnect and this issue about work will dissolve. Then your problem will be that you work too hard!
Your work needs to be the most meaningful thing in the world to you.
You have yet to realize the significance of life purpose. You know it only as an intellectual abstraction, not a tangible burning passion.

I empathize with how you feel. I remember selling all my video games after being addicted for years and getting more work done than I ever have in my life because of it. Then about a year and a half later I suddenly had the urge to buy a new console and start playing them, I just wanted to relax sometimes and not have to always be "on my purpose" all the time. I gave in. It took me nearly 5 years to finally sell them again. I spent a lot of that time being very disciplined and successful pursing a degree I'm very passionate about, but the "relax sometimes" turned into "relax whenever I have time away from studying." Missed out on a lot of personal growth because of that even though I was still doing well in school. A really good excuse. Point being, stay strong and stay on your purpose. The further you go the less all that low consciousness shit will appeal to you. 

Everything I understand tells me the situation is very serious. It's not a 100% chance of losing our democracy but something like a 25% chance.
