I think the case in the video is a case for low ambition in the material sense. Not necessarily conformity. Most people are not that driven with ambition to build bussinesses and self-actualize. But that doesnt mean they are conformists per se. And at the same time, you can be very ambitious and driven and be a  conformist -- so it's a tricky topic and distinction to make.

Good points.

People are like electrons - path of least resistance.

Thanks for your input. Yes, you can be driven and be conformist. Buy into the consumerism fantasy. Buy that Lambo and instantly you'll be respected by all 13 year old's and the homies in the hood. 😂

Or even better, rent it, post a pic and under no circumstances let anyone ever know how broken you truly are.

Conformity as in any time you give your authority to other instead of thinking/working through the situation yourself. This could be good or bad such as in giving your bodily authority over to a doctor to give you an operation that will save your life or giving all your money to a scammer who tells you he can double your money if you follow his "proven risk free" investment scheme. In this latter example you have lost all your money as you gave mental faculty authority to other instead of thinking through what you were getting yourself into. A much simpler example would be: A dictator comes to power in your country. You eat up all the propaganda he tells you instead of analysing for yourself the validity of the claims said dictator makes. You have given your mental authority to other. You defend your dictator's every view on reality without independent investigation. YOU are the very definition of conformist.

@Leo Gura

About your Celebrity itself is Corruption, post, is there any way to go about it in a non-corrupt/as minimally corrupted way as possible?

Honestly I've always coveted being one the moment I got interested in doing a greater purpose in life so I've had the desire for a long time. I also saw on your pickup video you can use celeb status to pickup girls so my guess is you ascribed some validity to pursuing it.

I've also read in Conversations with God not to pursue fame for its own sake but for a greater end, which ties in nicely with my new prospective LP - Leadership (I haven't properly planned this out yet but I also thought about doing philosophy to model Plato's ideal ruler of a philosopher-king when I mature into it enough, so that could help avoid corruption and be a better reason for more people to know me and feel my influence)

In the end I'm really asking if is there any scenario where its ok to pursue and be a celeb?

@Magnanimous How it's okay is if you are doing good work and the work naturally makes you well-known. But even in that case it would be unconscious to invent a whole brand and business to milk and juice that fame to the max.

There is a whole industry behind every celebrity to milk and juice their audience by any means possible. To feed the fans, to feed the adoration, to use it for power, for narcissistic supply, for luxury, to do fake twitter posts, fake PR events, etc.

For example, Albert Einstein was well known for his good work, which is fine. But then imagine in today's age he would have an Einstein brand that sells Einstein merch and milks the fanbase. And he would have some social media consultant posting promotional tweets on his behalf.

There is a huge fakeness and whoring factor to most big celebrities.

That's why I am personally a fan of faceless social media. You can still sell stuff but there is no parasocial relationship. There can still be a survival aspect but it's much safer if it's just a logo rather than a person. I have been watching this channel on YouTube called Alux for years and have no idea who is behind it but I have still bought their stuff. It's just a place I go to for info nothing more nothing less. Plus every guru is flawed so even if their message is pure the mob can tarnish the reputation by finding something they did 10 years ago and that will ruin the message spreading

@Leo Gura If you see 5 problems with your videos the week after you release it, then wouldn’t it be wise to not speak absolutely? For instance, I remember a video you made about politics and you talked about how drug decriminalization and universal income would push people towards actualization. The way you presented those topics were as if people were fools if they thought otherwise. But it turns out that you were wrong about drug decriminalization and universal income being effective means for self-actualization. Look at Portland. Look at the rise of self-deception in politics this past decade. People can have their basic needs met but doesn’t mean they will care enough to pursue truth and avoid self-deception. People can be lost in state blue no matter what needs you give them. This is just feedback. You still do great work. Thanks.

A Caveat About Corruption

I had a think about this and how it branches out to reality. Integrity in existential realms as a reflection of consciousness.

Lets have a construction analogy shall we? :P

You know when you walk down the concrete footpath? Have you ever looked at how it is formed? There are lines running at fairly regular intervals (see below). These are called control joints in construction terms. We use them everywhere as a way to work with the integrity (that word again) of materials. The saying is 'if its concrete - it cracks'. These control joints are there as a way to mitigate the damage done when using concrete as a material. We are essentially working with the material we have to make it more effective over its lifetime. We KNOW this material will crack - the joint is there so when it cracks, it will crack long the joint. The flaw will be contained in a controlled manner. If you look closely at your sidewalk, you will probably notice these cracks within the joint. They prevent the slab of the concrete from cracking in ways that destroy its structural integrity (which could cause damage below to irrigation, services being hit, becoming a trip hazard etc).

Think of your own integrity now - honesty. Where you have to make compromises in life to achieve certain ends. You work with what you have at the time, and do your best to be honest, authentic and true in your dealings. Sometimes you might have to intelligently place a 'control joint' in your integrity (your concrete) - a way to acknowledge you must compromise truth to achieve some end. By intelligently placing these control joints, you can minimise the structural damage to your integrity as a person as you move through reality. You are aware of where you have placed these joints.

You will find as you progress up through life - all matters that don't mean anything will fall away. You empty. As you do so you refine the material you are made of. You hammer the structure to be stronger. The loosely scattered bonds of carbon in the coal become orderly. Like that of a diamond. A lattice of carbon atoms - strong - effective - functional. Pure.

But in the meantime, if you got concrete, work with it. Lay the control joints while you refine the way to the diamond within. But be aware of where you are placing them, and be intentional and thoughtful. Like an engineer would be when designing the sidewalk. Engineer your life.

There you go that's my existential crisis while walking to work, thanks for that LEO :P

Then there would be no videos.

The problem with not-knowing is you become nothing. If you want to be something, you have to be wrong in some way.

The hardest part is being conscious about how wrong you are and doing something anyway. That's seriously difficult and not really want humans are built for. Humans don't handle that kind of cognitive dissonance well.

Don't be shit. Be good.

It’s handled via humility. When you’ve been wrong a thousand times (as we all have) the high, conscious road is to allow humility in to resolve the dissonance, and if you submit to it, you learn to be careful with absolutes. And so speak like “it seems like” or “in my experience”.

But notice speaking like that doesn’t have quite the same authoritative ring to it. So that’s why absolutes are preferred.

The dissonance is greater for the one who fancies themself an authority and takes pride in being the one who knows… and they have a much harder time owning their mistakes than someone who is glad to submit to humility.

While Leo is busy manifesting unicorns, I am busy manifesting Leo but not bald.

Did it work? :D

I resonate.

It's like getting a face, brain and spine surgery every now and then. Once it is stabilised another one comes. It's both progressive and breakthrough like. It's amazing but also quite taxing.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God
