  1. There is only one God that lives forever. The only difference between me and you is our knowledge. So in reality, you don't learn any lessons, cause you don't need to. What should be learned is learned and what shouldn't won't. The universe already decided what you will or won't learn. A tree doesn't exist in any other moment but one and it won't reincarnate as that same tree. This is like a movie that keeps going on and on forever. An animation that doesn't stop. In the past we believed in heaven and hell and now in new age communities, people don't know how to make the world appear safe and loving other than to use the idea of karma and reincarnation.
  2. I can't possibly believe in reincarnation or heaven and hell that religions talk about so for me personally, it is the fear that not existing, not feeling anything at all even the bad feelings, not seeing anything and just not being at all after death that scares me the most. It is like I have this one life and if I can't have heaven and good karma in it, then it is very unlikely there will be anything after it.
  3. I'm confused by this statement...everything is a dream. There is God, and then there is the dream. So you are either in a state of Absolute Consciousness as God, or you are dreaming. A dream is how God lives as a finite form. So based on this....you have always had past life experiences. So....you are contradicting yourself. When Leo said that reincarnation was part of the dream I was like....yeah of course so is this current life. The ancients say to STOP dreaming you have to realize yourself as God. But the only way to do that is to release all attachment. It all seems to fit to me. Nothing Leo has said seems to contradict any of the teachings. Even Leo's Infinity of God's realization Jesus said in the Bible and the Law of One series mentions. So its all about putting things into perspective. So since you cannot die, because you are existence itself all that happens is you stop dreaming.
  4. Well the most common version of the Self that the majority of people subscribe to in the West is that of the Transcendental-Ego Self. Namely that a seperate 'Self' exists apart from the context you inhabit and apart from the continuity of your experiences. While this is most easily encapsulated in the idea of a Soul, this has become such a central part of our culture that a completely secularized version of this is accepted by many people. And not just in the West, the transcendental ego self is also central to metaphysical systems that believe in reincarnation (such as Hinduism). A good litmus test to see if you subscribe to this notion of a Transcendental Ego is to try and imagine being born in a completely time and place. And then contemplate if that person would be 'you', or a completely different person. The other well trod perspective is that instead of an enduring transcendental ego self, the Self has no independent ground apart from it's embodied context and the continuity of experience. This is the perspective of 'no-self' Buddhism, but has also popped up at times in the writings of certain Western philosophers (such as David Hume). For myself, the latter perspective seems more coherent.
  5. This video ruined my life. How exactly am I meant to function knowing that I'll solipsistically experience every torture imaginable for no reason, for eternity. No intelligent being would subject it self to that. This video gives me suicidal ideations and you KNOW that you don't know for sure if you'll experience every hell fathomable. My life has no indications that I'll experience infinite torture, literally if this is true my motivation for "creating a beautiful life" is zero. What is the point? It'll just end then the reincarnation dice get rolled and I experience being in the holocaust for no other reason than 'love', that's not love that's masochism. Blood is on your hands Leo, even if you are correct, it's one of those things that should be left unsaid for the sanity of normies like me.
  6. It depends on how you consider it. Does the dream have any purpose? It seems extremely deliberate. is the dream evolutionary? Or is the concept of evolution foreign to the consciousness of God? from our mentality it seems impossible for something to be without purpose. you can say that the purpose is to be, but it is already a purpose. be more complex? all traditions and mystics have spoken of reincarnation. continuity, evolution. It seems logical. although your idea also seems to me
  7. @Proserpina That doesn't make any sense, shouldn't the afterlife occur regardless of what I realize or don't realize? Like if someone is totally bought into the idea of reincarnation, would it be completely blank after he/she dies? Do I even know that the afterlife exists?
  8. @Proserpina Is heaven and hell real? Does reincarnation also exist or is it one or the other? How did you f*ck up? How could you go to different realms for the same reason? Is there literally heaven and hell or are the realms something else?
  9. The energy pattern that forms your apparent being, the person you are, has specific characteristics. This pattern changes as your life goes by. reincarnation would be the restart of the resulting pattern after the course of your life. many traditions and many mystics have spoken of reincarnation, I think we should to have an open mind to it
  10. Because reincarnation is part of the dream how can you be reincarnated if you were never alive, to begin with, there is no human you just like there isn't an actualized forum just like I know I am only talking to myself right now hello II this is God talking to God time to go back to sleep.
  11. Honestly I don't know if I even want to awaken any more. Sometimes I think I do, but as I start to approach it, it gets terrifying. I want the truth, but I'm also scared of it. Things have been pretty okay for a few decades and it seems risky to try and mess that up. If I'm honest, my desire to awaken mostly comes from a place of scarcity. Fear of death, wanting to figure it out and know the answer before I'm in my last moments and don't have a choice. Wanting to escape some reincarnation cycle if such a thing exists, with the knowledge and experienced I've gained in this lifetime in tact, instead of having the slate wiped clean again. Ego death from the outside seems to me kinda like how teleportation would work in sci-fi. When you go in a teleporter, you don't actually get fully transported somewhere. It KILLS you here and now, the current you dies. Then a new version of you gets re-assembled atom by atom somewhere else, like a clone of yourself. Except even your memories are in tact so it feels like you really went somewhere. I don't know if I want to egoically kill myself to go somewhere else. Even if by all accounts it's better than what I have now. I'd rather cling on to my current self, even if it's just an illusion.
  12. Probably not, they would've told you about your aura energy. When i was in my highest consciousness state i achieved it naturally by knowing and finding things on my own, this made me do god like things/ materialisation because i fully understand how "it" worked to achieve it. This was during clinical psychology interview, i was seeing everything in the world different. After this highly consciouss state i had an awakening and started researching/reading alot and now im gonna do my first psychdelic next month mahavatar babaji has been reincarnating for many thousands of years , haidakhan babaji was his latest reincarnation from 1970 to 1984. People all over the world flew to see him, i have seen too many highly awoke people from different countries describing him. Based on my research he's 100% an avatar or not born from earth.
  13. "He who masters resistance masters this physical time space reality" -Teal Swan Enlightenment requires my concentration but just how long can I focus on spirituality? If external interruptions never applied, could I concentrate on a wall for long periods of time (even if it seems silly)? What about on a question or excercise? How do I know when to move on to the next one? This is crucial when it comes to Leo's enlightenment questions and excercises. I try to get up early not only to prevent external interruptions, but more so, to prevent interruptions from myself. I also need to learn how to take better notes on what I am reading to read important material for longer periods of time. Also, do you know this game called Lapse? It's basically a game in which you are the president are your goal is to escape the infinite time loop you are in by finding someone for this mysterious person (I'm still trying to find out who they are). To survive long enough for that to happen, you need to balance the environment, the happiness of the population, the military, and the economy. Why am I bringing this up? It feels like each day is like an infinite time loop unless I radically change myself for enlightenment and a life worth living. This loop can last until I die (and beyond if reincarnation exisits). Will I need to control my state of consciousness for me to stay focused, or would I already be awake? When Leo says become conscious of _______, is it something that simply needs to be done, am I missing something, or was I only in a temporary high if I did become conscious of what Leo said? Also, I am not saying that I cannot have fun, if spirituality is boring, then I'm doing it wrong. If I'm being indescisive on how to go about it, then it will backfire and so will not seeking enough options.
  14. Stage Blue (which is about much more than just authority), and particularly Christianity, are fit for the death of humanity because like you say they emphasise stale authority and conformity. After all, children hate conforming to stifling rules and regulations! It is senile old farts who like to do everything by the book; Christianity just allowed them to do it by the Book! It is absurd to me that Stage Blue belongs to the pre-individualised childhood of humanity: even according to “ma science”, humanity had already been around for hundreds of thousands of years before Stage Blue emerged! Materialism is like rigor mortis because once the spiritually animating principle has departed (God in the Christian context) all that is left is the physical body. The so-called advances in philosophy since the Renaissance have basically just been progressive phases in the realisation that God (in the Christian sense and as the spiritual principle which used to animate such societies) is dead. These are the various Stage Orange ideologies of materialism which have been accompanied by the general expanse of the mercantile machine of production-and-consumption. It is just like a body in which the soul and spirit has departed. Relativism, deconstruction and anti-logocentrism are like the body decomposing because they are a denial of survival and the necessity of difference and distinction. Isn’t defunding the police just like the immune system finally giving in? Isn’t open borders just like the cell walls collapsing? Isn’t the proliferation of anarchy and chaos within Stage Green just like the diseases which invade the dying body? The contrast within Stage Green between a superficial “love” and “unity” and the actual situation of putrescent inequality and exploitation is also very much like the body rotting beneath the surface of the skin. Finally, the new-age spiritualism of Tier 2 is like the final evaporation of the body because it is a compensating retreat away from the accretions of materialism towards the spiritual. Seeing the one-sided and limited nature of the new “earth-bound” and materialised world order, more and more people are drawn to shift off this earthly coil and escape to a new world of psychedelic phantasms, neo-Advaitan non-dualisms, Shamanic escapades, pagan cult revivals, occult deliriums and so on ad nauseam, whilst the majority devolve into a form of existence which is entirely collective and truly sub-human. This is exactly like the paths that are available to the human being in death: either to escape the wheel of existence for good (which is what a few people will manage to do through these new-age experiments) or to dissolve back into the collective substance for a further reincarnation (which is what the overwhelming majority are doing). This model fits the reality much better than some Spiral Progress nonsense! A very ironic appeal to authority! I agree that human history is a reflection of the individual human on a massive scale. Like the ancient Corpus Hermeticum says: “As above, so below”. Yes I should have worded this better. What you are describing would be a postmodern sort of argument, “every analogy is equally valid”, which is not what was intended.
  15. I copy paste this without edit. I had no idea prior to this what "nonduality" was, and had no religious inclination whatsoever. This is exactly as I recorded it and attempted to interpret it without the aid of ANY knowledge gleamed from researching nondual tradition. I found such tradition via searching "monism" after the fact. This was vaped n,n-DMT on the peak of 500ug of acid. --- BLAST OFF It was on my second inhale of DMT using my Mighty vape that it hit the fan. I closed my eyes and experienced a complete out of body trip to heaven with visuals... full color visuals, intricate and detailed. To walk through from the beginning, first of all imagine you are a Matryoshka doll (those Russian doll things). The innermost doll. Well what happened was, my human vessel which was this innermost doll was left down below and I was launched/sucked away from myself and upwards. And as I kept going up it was like outer shells of dolls were shattering as I broke into higher and higher realms of reality. Like going from the smallest doll in the set to the biggest all-encompassing doll. Rather than a tunnel of light going towards heaven, it was more like I was being sucked up from my human self into heaven - I was watching my lower-level-consciousness-selves as I was propelled higher and higher up. The visuals were very vivid and intense, but difficult to explain... It was like I had a collar around my vessel (whatever was being launched up into these planes of reality), and the patterning was on this collar, like perhaps yellow vibrant squares for example (but these weren't just random shapes on the back of my eyelids, these were like, fully lucid visions of an alternate dimension) - and I was being sucked upwards through the middle into higher realms of reality and I'd go up through these layers of visions higher and higher. Until I reached the ultimate reality. I reached heaven. It was not heaven in the sense that it felt blissful or anything. That's the thing, it didn't feel anything, it just WAS. But it was heaven in the sense of being the ultimate reality. When every layer is peeled off that's what's left. I was in heaven. I have visited heaven. I saw spacetime itself form shape: Outside the boundaries of what I was seeing was void - colorless nonexistence. I had wondered what possible layer deeper I could have possibly gone except by dying; but then I realized that dying would not do it - because non-existence does not exist, and it's not possible for anything that exists to NOT exist... "I" or "you" may """die""" (quote unquote) but we will never get to not exist, we will *ALWAYS* exist... I can see where people get ideas about reincarnation... A tree can sprout many leaves - we are the tree... We as in "you" or "I" might THINK we're the leaf, but that's just an illusion, a subsection of the whole which is the tree that we ACTUALLY are. We are all existence, anything that has existed cannot ever NOT exist because non-existence does not exist. WE are existence. WE are spacetime. WE are eternal. WE are all there ever was and all there ever will be; always "were" and always "will be". The alpha and omega. We are unstoppable because we are existence itself. WE are EVERYTHING. ... I also did speak to a divine being or something of that nature but my recollection of that is incredibly scant. I think between my visions through heaven I opened my eyes and spoke to the deity and asked what it wants me to do (I think?) and if it wants me to bring back the experience and tell other people, something along those lines. I don't remember the specifics but definitely something along those lines happened... I saw a large female deity's face across my ceiling briefly, I recall. But the "divine being" did not feel more powerful than me, us, you, WE... That was part of the thing - that everything was one and the same, everything in existence was one. Nothing exists but existence itself. Whatever this presence was, was simply a manifestation of a part of US that was helping facilitate my journey... I in fact felt like I had gone even further *beyond* the realm where this presence existed. Using the tree sprouting leaves analogy, perhaps these presences are like the branches. One step above us "leaves" but a step below the ultimate reality of the tree. I feel like I reached and reunited with the tree. I consider this to be a legitimate religious experience, along the lines of Buddhist/Monistic belief (I never had any religious belief prior to psychedelic use). This was not getting "high" this was literally a religious experience, a deeply earth-shattering spiritual/religious experience. --- Everything that I write since, and everything I have searched for and researched, is due to this trip. Which I now cannot recall experientially aside from perhaps a miniscule memory of visuals, which is also just a vague fascimile. I have never reached that state of being ever again, albeit other trips after were still "enlightening" when not just random alien rave scenes or panic attacks. I never came back from that trip... I've been trying to make sense of it since.
  16. If your life is good right now, why roll the reincarnation dice?
  17. @Consilience How can you doubt genetics but believe in reincarnation?
  18. Exactly. It seems that buddha's goal is the end of suffering, and with it, the end of the wheel of reincarnations. this implies that reincarnation is something negative, that is, that life is something negative, that it would be desirable to avoid. the buddha's goal is total ego death. Well, after living like a prince, like a seeker and like a lover. not a bad plan at the end. individual existence is suffering. being a proton implies resistance to stop being a proton. but as you say, we can say that this is a positive suffering. accepted suffering, with a goal: to be. And there is a suffering that seems more negative, the frustration, the cowardice, being trapped. the suffering from which existence cannot escape. I would say, more than seeking the end of suffering, seek to accept suffering, and even seek it, since it is a source of life
  19. Life in America. One night I was sitting alone in my bed. I received a text on my phone. I asked who was it. The message read "Joseph." I was a bit in a hippy mood. We chatted for some time. And then I told Joseph that I have to sleep. A few days later I again received a text from Joseph. This time he said that he wanted to kiss me. I felt aroused by this text from him. I have to admit I felt wet very instantly. I started typing some gibberish. And soon we were sexting. I began to masturbate, just touching myself. He said he was masturbating too. He wasn't dirty. There was something about Joseph that drew me to him. He wasn't even trying to flirt. A raw sense of romance. I felt intensely close to Joseph. I am such an introverted shy person that I would have never responded this way to anyone. But something about Joseph that was bringing me closer to him with every text. I couldn't resist. It's as though I knew Joseph since a very long time when I hadn't even met him. I felt like a voice from the grave was telling me that I knew Joseph already. Someone I knew in my past birth, maybe in my past life, my past Reincarnation I was with Joseph. I felt intense pain and sadness and at the same time intense euphoria. I was very wet. Just drenched wet. He ejaculated and told me that he was all over the place. He was very happy and giddy. He just wouldn't stop gushing about how much he enjoyed it I was happy too. I had never felt like this before. That night was the sexiest night of my life. I had never orgasmed so much. I had never been this wet. The bed was wet. I drifted into sleep, I slept like a baby. I felt like Joseph was tucking me in bed. The last text he sent was "I wanna fuck your brains out."
  20. Imagine you have no ability to form even a nanosecond of memory at all. Every single moment is slightly different and isolated, as there is no way for your mind to tie a string through them into any sort of idea of continuation. Those moments which change every single moment, that is the cycle of death and rebirth taking place... "reincarnation". When you understand you are not the changing moments (e.g. your thoughts and life story, etc) but what the moments appear in/to, then the cycle of life and death is escaped. It still takes place, but because you don't identify any longer with the element which is subject to change, you are identifying with that which was never born and never dies and never changes...
  21. It works like this: You, God, right now, are imagining reincarnation.
  22. What do we know about "other people"? We know that they are not actually "over there" out in the world. We know that like all limited things every part of them is an appearance... Like when you look into a mirror. You know the person in the mirror is just an appearance and where the awareness resides is not inside the mirror but here. We know all people are here. We also know there's not really any such thing as a "person". The only thing there is to people that can be pinned is a sort of pattern. E.g. the appearances constantly change moment to moment, but some patterns are predictable. We can know a fan of a certain band is likely to pick them on Spotify to listen to. Just a kind of pattern of unfolding. But no person. We aren't people either aside from that. And of course that's what the "cycle of death and rebirth" and reincarnation really means. Not bullshit about your soul going into a donkey... It's the fact that the appearance changes constantly. The cycle is escaped when you stop identifying with the appearances and with the backdrop which is the thing which never began and never ends (time appears within). Now... When another person does look at me in any case, my shape appears as though I am out somewhere inside space apart from them. These appearances are not the same as the one of the shape of their body which is taking place........ How is this working... The universe obviously ends when you the person dies (because time ceases to appear so the end is reached instantly). True for everyone. Unless you are resurrected for a bit via cryogenics or some bizarre shit. But eventually it ends and the end of the universe is reached...... And at that point, every point of awareness should collapse into a singular, like the inverse of the big bang where a singular exploded into many. And then presumably back out again...... But these points of awareness..... How does it work exactly?... The concurrency of it all is where the confusion remains. Many explanations are offered, but I don't think anyone has given a convincing answer. Thinking about it is brain-bursting.
  23. It's more accurate to say that intuition is the divine download of knowledge or wisdom. I have never experienced what my recent intuition has revealed. Did you mean I experienced it in my past life? I don't think reincarnation is true.
  24. This post is about the process of preventing the seperate self from dissolving after physical death, so that it continues to exist with full control and lucidity. This post is based on John Kreiter's book "the way of the death defier" (as well as "the way of the projectionist"). I'm basically summarizing the main concept and adding my own spin. This post is obviously not about becoming more enlightened. But it isn't necessarily about becoming less enlightened either. There are 2 kinds of no-self. Becoming conscious how the seperate self is an illusion (relative to that state of consciousness). This realization is not in contradiction with the topic of this post. You can strengthen the seperate self and at the same time be awake and conscious of its illusory nature. This realization is in the pure consciousness dimension. Actually dissolving the seperate self. The more you do it, the more difficult it will become to survive, and eventually that seperate self completely dissolves (at that point the physical body is dead). So this process is indeed in contradiction with the topic of this post. That process tends to be more in the void dimension (more nuance later) - What You Are I recently made this post about the layers of the self from a more non-dual perspctive, maybe that post helps to reconcile this post here with non-duality. We are made of two components (from a dualistic perspective) Consciousness Appearances These appearances range from gross to subtle. Let's go down from gross to subtle: Mental stuff and activity like thoughts and images. Here is the intellect and here happens understanding and recognition. Appearances of a seperate self. These are made of energy and intangible stuff like a personality and a sense of self. Unconscious data. Here is stored everything that is unconscious to the seperate self These appearances from gross to subtle are like a vertical line from up to down. Ultimately everything is consciousness. So let's merge this vertical line with consciousness. This vertical line correlates to some extend with the Alertness Dimension: By merging each of the 3 layers with consciousness we get (now I use John Kreiter's terms): The conscious self. The conscious self is made of mental activity (like recognition) + enough consciousness (which is the case when the alertness dimension is high enough). There might be some mental activity during deep sleep and dreams but the alertness dimension is too low, therefore the conscious self is dead, as a result these sleep stages are unconscious relative to you. During waking life there is also mental activity and the alertness dimension is higher, therefore the conscious self exists during waking life. When the conscious self exists and the self-referential recognition (recognizing that you exist, that you are conscious, that you are alive. Being present and mindful rather than being on autopilot like most people are 99% of their day) is strong enough you are lucid. Conscious self + self-referential recognition = lucidity. I guess the conscious self is what most people are identified with. The Ghost in the Machine. The appearances of a seperate self alone don't really form a real entity. But if we merge these appearances with consciousness, then it's a real entity. Let's use the term ghost in the machine because that's how John Kreiter calls it. Relative to ego consciousness, this entity/self is real and exists. Relative to an enlightened state of consciousness this entity is illusory (relative to that state, you are consciousness conscious of these appearances). The ghost in the machine has intent and desires. It can observe the body and thoughts. And it is able to control the body and thoughts (but usually most thoughts are not thought by it). The ghost in the machine can interact through a pysical body, but it can also leave that body and interact through a astral body. At physical death, the ghost in the machine continues to live. Relative to this whole post, what you are is not the conscious self (,or non-dual consciousness) but that ghost in the machine. The Unconscious. By merging unconscious data with consciousness we get "the unconscious". It might sound contradictory to say that the unconscious is partly made of consciousness. But ultimately everything is consciousness. It's just that relative to ego, relative to the ghost in the machine, this is unconscious. It works similar as with deep sleep. Actually there is still a sliver of consciousness there, but it's too little for the ghost in the machine to remenber this experience (similar to how it can remember dreams) because the alertness dimension is too low. Therefore deep sleep appears like unconsciousness relative to the ghost in the machine. By most people's definitions, the unconscious is the soul. There is a collective unconscious (human oversoul) and our unconscious/soul is a small part/extension of that. The Unconscious is also where all the power lies (as explained Here). - What happens at physical death? Most new age people agree that the nonphysical part of us survives physical death. And they say that this part then reincarnates after some time. But this is too unnuanced. If we look at reincarnation reports, then yes it looks like there is a constant between different lives, like something continues from life to life. But there are also major differences between these different incarnations, the main one is personality. From what I know, in each live you have a new personality, a new ego, a new self. John Kreiter says that the unconscious is the constant during these incarnations. Evolution from life to life happens because apart from formeless consciousness, also the unconscious data goes from life to life. So in your next incarnation, you would still have the same (or some of the same) unconscious data and then new unconscious data is formed in addition. In that way evolution happens. The conscious self and the ghost in the machine die with physical death (or some time after). In each new life, a new ghost in the machine and a new conscious self is created. So the conscious self and the ghost in the machine don't reincarnate. From a more spiritual perspective, what you ultimately are is the unconscious (the soul), and relative to that you are already immortal, and have many more incarnations. So relative to the soul, it is not bad when the ghost in the machine dies. Relative to the ghost in the machine, this incarnation is the only incarnation, it is the first life it has ever lived. And relative to it, this dissolution of the ghost in the machine might not be positive (unless you are detached or enlightened). So up to the point of dissolution you (the ghost of the machine) might resist the idea of dissolution. But at the point of dissolution you (the soul) realizes that it never was the ghost in the machine and that it's dissolution is not bad, it's like changing clothes. So whether that dissolution is bad or good depends on the perspective. So at the point of physical death, the conscious self usually dies too (in the same way that it dies during deep sleep and dreams). But the ghost in the machine plus the unconscious keep living. This after death experience is very similar to dreams. Due to no conscious self, there is usually less lucidity than during waking life (but probably still more than during normal dreams). Now that you've left the physical realm, everything is made of energy. So it's all about energy. Your ghost in the machine is also made of energy. It has a certain amount of energy, and when that energy runs out (that could be seconds, days, months, or millions of years after physical death, depending on the amount of energy), then the ghost in the machine dissolves. At that point only the unconscious is left, and then it can reincarnate again and form a new ghost in the machine. (John Kreiter actually says that it first merges with the oversoul and has a blissful oneness experience there. And it's actually even more complicated than that, he explains it in his book). There are also paralells with other perspectives. For example Tom Campbell says something very similar. He essentially says that the character dies after death, and only the soul reincarnates and creates a new character. There is also a paralell with some eastern systems who have the concept of "the second death". So the after death experience is dream-like. In the beginning you might still be here on our plane and see your actual dead physical body. But this plane usually fades more and more into the distance and then you are like in a void and everything is created by your unconscious (like during dreams). But it's also possible that real entities come and help you (for example helping you to take control of your experience). And I think it's also possible that you go to objective astral planes, like the christian heaven. But I don't think you can stay there forever, because at some point the energy of your ghost in the machine runs out and you dissolve. So how to make the ghost in the machine immortal? There are 2 main components to this: lucidity and energy. - Energy Without energy there is no life. It requires energy to do stuff, even just thinking thoughts requires energy. During physical life you get most of your energy from food (as well as prana from the air, sun, environment, external sources,...). That food energy source is no longer availabe after physical death. So there are two important things to do: Energetic containment. Means that you try to lose as little energy as possible. John Kreiter explains how to do that in his books. Energetic absorption. On the nonphysical plane there are places where there is energy floating around that no one needs anymore. So this is the replacement of physical food. Rather than eating external physical food which then your body converts into energy, you absorb energy directly. John Kreiter explains how to do that (most comprehensively in his magnum opus book). So someone who wants to make the ghost in the machine immortal, needs to practice these techniques while physically alive so that you know how to do them after physical death. If you manage to maintain your energy level after physical death you can theoretically live Infinitely long. - Lucidity But really the most important component of this whole process is lucidity. After physical death, you can't really do these energetic containment and absorption techniques without lucidity. Also without lucidity you have no control of what to experience. So the goal is that during the whole after physical death experience, you have uninterrupted full lucidity. For your physical life this means 3 things: Attaining lucidity during waking life (rather than being on autopilot) Attaining lucidity during all your dreams Attaining lucidity during all sleep stages And that essentially means that the most important practice for this whole process is sleep yoga If you manage to be conscious during all of your sleep, you will have full lucidity after physical death (that's also what tibetan buddhists say). - The complete Self The way I see it, if you are interested in making the ghost in the machine immortal, then sleep yoga is what the majority of your focus should be on. There are some more things that need to be done to make the ghost in the machine immortal, but I think these are relatively easy to achieve once you are conscious during all of your sleep. Attaining lucidity is essentially a merging of the ghost in the machine with the conscious self. And by becoming conscious of usually unconscious sleep stages, you merge the ghost in the machine with the unconscious too. So you merge these 3 parts into one Complete Self. There are more nuances and things involved to create this complete self, John Kreiter describes that in his book, he calls that part of the process the 5th room of the projectionist. - Some more points: When your ghost in the machine is immortal you can do whatever you like, explore Infinity or settle in a heaven-like place with like-minded real other beings Let's say you don't do this approach. Then still, the more spiritually advanced you are, and the more energy you naturally attained during life, and the more spiritual power you attained, and the more lucidity you attained, and the stronger your ghost in the machine became, and the more experience you have with OBEs, and ..... the more lucidity and control and energy you will have after physical death. And it might be enough to continue living for hundreds of years until the ghost in the machine dissolves and you finally merge back into the oversoul. John Kreiter explains all of that in more detail. If you are interested read his books! In this post I wrote what I think is most important. He mentions some other stuff and other practices too. But I don't think that most of these other practices are necessary. They can surely help but I think sleep yoga is the only component you should primarily think about if you are interested in all that stuff. But make your own opinion on it. John Kreiter is extremely advanced and knows far more than I on the topic. I think John is already conscious during all of his sleep and has been astral projecting for years maybe 8 hours each day. And that is just the time relative to the physical plane. Time runs differently in other more distant planes. He says it's possible to experience years during hours of physical time. That means John has spent MUCH time exploring and trying to understand how the death process works and what exactly happens after death. Based on my understanding and direct energetic perception so far, most of what he says makes a lot of sense. His perspective on the afterlife seems to be the one that makes most sense and can make sense of many other perspectives. But his perspective is not perfect there are some critique points. For example the white light of NDE reports. He says that this occurs probably when people have very little stored energy and they quickly merge with the oversoul. From the little I know about NDE reports, around 10% of people who survive a near death, report remembering an experience. And maybe around 70-90% of these experienced a white light. I think it could fit but it's not a perfect explanation that deals with all the complexities of NDE reports. The second critique would be that with his perspective it is not easy to make sense of some between life regressions where people report choosing their next live and so on. My best guess currently is that this all happens only to the unconscious and well, the unconscious is unconscious so the conscious mind can't really understand it. So with these inbetween lives regressions these people try to translate that data which is stored in the unconscious into sensical stuff that the mind can make sense of, and then these reports are the result. I'm not satisfied with that explanation yet. There are still inconsistencies. I think John Kreiter probably doesn't care about investing deeper into these things because for him it is completely obvious that the after death process works the way he describes, so he probably doesn't care about making sense of all the other post death experiences. But his perspective makes still a lot more sense than any other I've heard about. Despite that, it is still only one perspective. And the post death experience can be very diverse. So I think it is possible that other perspectives are true too, even if these perspectives have a seeming contradiction. So this perspective here doesn't automatically mean that any of your other perspectives are false. So if you don't like this perspective you could still go for one of the other perspectives in the new age community, but I don't know how likely it is that they are true, this then is up to you to decide. And even if this perspective is true and others false, there might still be other alternatives to this whole post death topic that are better, which are based on the same understanding, or at least have no contradiction with that understanding. (I know of two more alternatives but they sound far more crazy and far out. In case you want to know more about that you can pm me) Void dimension and Seperate Self. I wrote in the beginning that a high void dimension usually results in a weaker seperate self. However regarding this post, there is further nuance, because it is possible to have a high void dimension and at the same time a strong seperate self. Usually the higher the void dimension, the more the seperate self dissolves. But through intent and doing the practices of this post it is possibly to actually make that seperate self stronger despite a higher void dimension. In a few past posts I mentioned the term "conscious self" too, but there I used it in a different context with a different definition. John Kreiter uses the term "soul" differently, he calls the ghost in the machine the soul
