  1. My college friends called Me Muni (which means sanyasi) for fun. and guess what Now iam an alien to them.
  2. @electroBeam It's the "if you do show someone" part that I'm at. For all my openness and looking, no one has showed anyone anything. @Leo Gura With all the respect in the world for what you do, this is an exact example of what I'm saying - this is always where paranormal ends. So far in my experience it always boils down to nothing but others' conflation. It always turns out they experienced a drug trip (I'm a fan myself) or a story they were told (usually at a young age) and adopted the details as their own. It would just be nice if for once someone experienced a ghost, or alien, or whatever, and said "here it is", rather than ultimately, "it all took place in my head" or "if you were me, you wouldn't talk openly about it" or the switch to "if you were open to it you would experience it too", which may be felt as genuine, but is also a simple defensive misdirection of topic. I've been open to aliens, angels, for many years, roughly 20. But still nothing. I am expressing from my experience. It reminds me of how religious people get offended when someone continues to ask about their religion. Apparently, it's not fun for people to discover that something they say they know, turns out to be a belief. Poeple seem to take words about a topic as words about their character. If you ask someone about a vacation they took, they'll tell you about it all day. They'll make popcorn for the slideshow. Ask about something that they claim happened, but never actually did happened, and they get frustrated pretty quickly.
  3. First off, I want to commend you for your self-honesty and your desire to be better. I think that many people tend to deny their own racist tendencies because they don't want to face the internal ugliness and to see themselves in a negative light. So, most people afflicted by racist thoughts and tendencies ignore them and end up expressing them without being aware that they are being racist. So, I think awareness is the most important first step, and you're already there. The second step would be to contemplate upon things like what you mentioned in the post: recognizing that all people within a group are different, realizing that your existence as you, could be literally any other way. What I mean by this is that you could just as easily be experiencing another person's experience if you were incarnated as a person in their situation or as them. Your birth as yourself is arbitrary. There are other contemplations that you can do as well, relative to the circumstances of birth and life circumstances. Also, you'll want to contemplate on the profound similarity between all human beings. There is a Latin phrase that translate to "Nothing that is human is alien to me." that expresses this insight. Human beings, though we have subtle differences (that seem to us like big differences) are still 99% similar. We're just so close to the situation that we recognize all the little differences. The third step is to get to know people who are of the races that you're racist against. It's harder to discriminate if you have friends within that group. However, a caveat would be that even if you know people from the group you have prejudices against, you can still fall into the "I'm not racist... I have a black friend" trap. It can be used to fuel denial of racist tendencies which can revert progress. The fourth step is to practice getting in touch with the emotions that cause you the discomfort, as sensations in the body instead of as thoughts in the mind. Practice dropping the thought and focusing just on the emotion. Racism is foremost a form of projection, so it always has to do with aspects of yourself that you've repressed and denied. So, a minority group who you know little about can function as a blank screen for a person to project their own disowned traits, anger, and resentments upon. So, if you reintegrate your disowned traits and resolve the inner emotional turmoil that causes this internal split and subsequent projection upon large groups of different looking people, this will allow you to address the root of the racism at its bedrock level. You'd be surprised that racism has little to do with race at its core. It has to do with self loathing projected outward. Otherwise, continue maintaining your awareness of these tendencies throughout the day and practice observing and then letting go of intrusive racist thoughts. And be gentle with yourself. This inner turmoil is surrounded by and in large part created by outer social turmoil. If you want to really make progress you have to allow yourself internal non-judgmental space to deal with this issue. People on the outside of your mind will likely judge you one way or the other and try to nudge you in their direction. Don't let the outward taboos and judgments impede your inner progress which can (and most likely will) be a messy and ugly process. So, try not to judge yourself.
  4. Sure, some have already been mentioned in the thread but other examples would include ghosts/spirits, ESP, telepathy, Astral projection, near death experiences, alien abductions, etc. I'm sure you could Google and find a loooong list of examples.
  5. @FirstglimpseOMG please explain what u mean haha. If it didn't hurt, I would keep going. If I keep going.... it feels like i'll go into a place I've never been before, as alien as a parallel universe, without me being in it. A place without a worldview, a very empty place. But I'm not sure because haven't tried it yet. Going to this unknown place is also very scary too.
  6. “You wear a mask for so long, you forget who you were beneath it.” Alan Moore People tend to live their life acting out roles that are obvious to anyone around them but opaque for themselves. You are playing the role and you are not conscious of it. Roles are the costumes and characters that you play that you somehow picked up in your childhood, teenager years and early adulthood and you confuse these costumes with your authentic personality. Imagine an alien that looks at the entire narrative of your life and can spot the roles that you are playing. Some of these roles can be personal, cultural or related to career and business, family, etc. Try to spot 3 roles that really sticks to you. Look for that “aha” moment! The List - The Perfectionist - The Rebel - The Alpha Male - Mr. Cool - The Winner - The Looser - The Haggler - The Player - The Nice Guy - The Victim - The Abused - The Winer - The Know-It-All - The Professional or Respectable Business Man - The Responsible One - The Dependable One - The Mysterious One - The Cynic - The Skeptic - The Social Light - The Attention Whore - The Show-Off - The Sergeant or Ruler Keeper - The Crusader - The Shy Guy - The Nerd - The Care Bear or Bleeding Heart - The Lazy One - The Virgin - The Tormented Artist - The Achiever - The Guru - The Free Spirit - The Team Player - The Addict - The Vegan - The Bohemian - The Environmentalist - The Rationalist - The Scientist - The Philosopher - The Libertarian - The Anarquist - The Intellectual - The Mastermind - The Grumpy Man - The Desperate Housewife - The Soccer Mom - The Lone Wolf - The Drama Queen - The Fuckup - The Prodigious Son - The Golden Boy - The Try Hard - The Gentleman - The Good Christian - The Sinner - The Celebrity - The Hero - The Villain - The Minority - The Misunderstood Genius - The Conspiracy Theorist - The Exemplary Father or The Opposite - The Critic - The Outcast - The Guardian of Truth - The Savior of Humanity - The Joker - The Slick Salesman - The Creative Genius - The Hippie - The Hipster - The Frat Boy - The Gym Boy - The Hotshot - The Airhead - The Alcoholic - The Clown - The Newager - The Idealist - The Rag to Riches Story - The Metrosexual - The Sparkly Gay - The Confused Homosexual - The Preacher - The Healer - The Fat Guy - The Patriot - The American - The Arab, Etc. It is a gut feeling that you have when you recognize which role you are playing. The question is: Who were you before you picked up your role? Visualize how were you before your role was adopted and remember how different life was before the role. What was it like when you were living without any roles? Can you pinpoint the moment when you started to adopt the role you play? Why do you need this role? Could you start to let it go? What would your life look like if you start to let it go? Who would you become? You need to start taking off your costumes, so your authentic personality can shine through. You were usually purer in kindergarten, try to anchor in that. The way you drop a role is to become aware of it and realize how artificial it is until you realize it is stupid.
  7. It seems more like a way of not having to engage with their kids. It's like people want children, but then don't want the hassle of attending to them, so they 'keep them quiet' with some distraction like a tablet or video game. And we wonder why society is going the way it is.. I personally think it is a bad thing. It's not conducive to people living in the 'real' world. Nowadays everyone wants to hide from reality with their headphones on and their phone in their hands, away in their own private bubble. It must be so alien to people if they are standing in the street and they were to take off their headphones and actually...be present.
  8. @Nahm @Loreena Where is the list? I recommended his videos to a friend and my friend said: is this guy real? He talks nonstop, doesnt take breaks, doesnt stop to think what he is gonna say.. There is an episode that he drinks water, otherwise I would think he is an alien But no kidding, he built up everything perfectly, the black background, the black shirt, he approchead more the camera in the later videos (sometimes I'm so concentrated that looks like he is in front of me), I love his style, especially for us, visual creatures, he keeps our visual attention but the ears are the target. Some other channels the guys start makings braids, put colorful rainbow shirts, changing the background, I get all distracted
  9. I know, I know; it sounds extreme. "The ego is not your enemy" you will say "accept your ego" you will say. But first hear me out. The ego has it's own agenda. It wants to survive, and it needs energy and a web of (unconscious) justifications for it's existence. It judges, complains, worrys, fears, and is projecting living and happiness into the future to substitute living NOW. The ego is not able to fully love. It is a defense mechanism for not being loved fully. It is terrified to open up again, and again being devastated by projective missiles of non-love (credits to Shunyamurti). So the ego resists full blown love, it thinks love is not present or a scarce ressource. The ego-mind consists of unconscious fragments/projections and is therefore split. It is not whole and fully integrated. It is a monstrous underestimated entity that has nested in our consciousness and is trying to deceive and control us. trying to prevent us from seeing the present moment and absolute truth. It is transforming our lives into a hellrealm and this planet into a radioactive desert. In that sense, the ego is like an alien entity that is trying to survive by all available means. You will say, there a more healthy ego's than others. And this is true. However, because the fact that the ego is itself a defense mechanism with an existent unconscious consisting of multiple invisible fragments, there is still something in the consciousness that's running it's own agenda. There is still self-deception, delusion, and defense against love. As long as there is an unconscious, consciousness is not fully in control, because it has no knowledge of the ego's real agendas. Even if the ego is empathic and want's goodness for the world, it is still limited by unconscious fantasys. In my opinion, it doesn't make sense to sugarcoat the ego and live with it. It must be transcended fully and fight against with acceptance and love. What do you think? e: acceptance has an ambivalent meaning here. One acceptance would be "Yea, I have an ego, so what? gonna live with it and have fun" The other acceptance would be a deep investigation through meditation/psychedelics with full commitment to extinguish this entity through collecting and loving every unconscious fragment of the ego (I don't see yet how this can ever be possible)
  10. @Neo Perhpas you have good mental habits of not accumulating resistant thoughts, making meditation easier? Even more so then, do what Leo said. You stand to get a lot out of it. Post the alien words, maybe someone can translate it for you. Or tell them "stop talking like that, you know I don't speak Spanish!"
  11. This practical information is very useful, however, while I'm not enlightened, you would not believe the amazing progress I made, and I am the world WORST meditator. Tired. Bored. Falls Asleep. Never enough time to do it. But I've felt all the chakras flowing their energy (and I didn't even believe in this or read about it) and I asked who am I for a good 20 minutes until completely nauseated, and then my words started coming out in some alien language. And then some other stuff like in contemplation where every thing in the room comes into focus at once. Stuff like this happens, and I tell you it's true that I must be the worst meditator currently on the planet.
  12. @Mondsee I'm familiar with that, never meditated in front of the mirror but sometimes when I meditate for a long time and reach deep state, when I open my eyes I feel an awkward sensation, like "wow, I'm inside this body, I have a body, I have hands" I feel unconfortable but at the same time I'm amazed by the fact that I even exist and grateful for having a body, weird! Those days I finished and I looked in the mirror, felt like a stranger, almost an alien Pretty interesting isnt it?
  13. Do you think that some of our cells (including our meitic cells) are gaining new reproducible DNA every time we get a cold? Are we expressing traits differently throughout our life not only because of inheritance, epi-genetics, environmental gene-regulation, but also because we are literally getting new DNA? I have always been surprised at how "normal" functioning people can be when they are literally missing whole chromosomes. I'm surprise that certain missing genetic links in each of our individual codes didn't pull the plug on our whole system. I suppose there are only so many combinations, and the combinations do tend repeat. But the fact that they all work together despite the many combinations in which they can come is totally mind blowing! Perhaps viruses are adding a layer of complexity I hadn't even though about. Are they supporting the process of constant change in our lives? Does our emotional system actually react accordingly to new proteins being synthesized? Can you get alien DNA from being touch by an alien lol? I'm sure someone out there knows more about this than me...
  14. I cut all social media, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, twitter and I feel so good, in the beginning I was feeling an alien because everybody talks about it all the time, but now I feel fucking amazing. I know your question wasn't exactly about that but when I read Facebook I thought about planting the seed in your mind, it's something that changed my life A LOT, I'm spending more time practicing meditation and self inquiry, unbelievable, I wouldn't say I'm not going with the flow, it's more like I'm the flow itself
  15. This is only for people who already have a meditation practice going. If you are a total newbie start with mindfullness/ breathing techniques and come back in a month L/R Brain-Hemisphere Meditation (Gain deep insights!!) ( since i´m german – please excuse any erroRrs in mey spelllllling haha ) 1. Idea: When you don´t moove your body, and have no sensory input, no sight no hearing, your brain will go to "sleeping mode" sooner or later (alpha/beta waves). Now what if only one half of your body is in sleeping mode and you function from the other half only? How would your perception change? How would your sense of self change? How would your thought patterns change? Or will one active hemisphere be just the same as both hemisphere´s beeing active. Note: Of course this methode is not able to shut down one hemisphere completly and simulate what it would be like to only have one half brain. It is a very primitive methode and i would love for your ideas to make it more advanced 2. The Method: You alternately shut down the sensory input from one half of your body. Since we can´t controll touch/feeling and can neglect smell pretty much, we focus on controlling only hearing and sight. 3. How to do it – Preparations: you put an earplug in one Ear to reduce hearing on that side to a minimum! You close your eye on that same side to reduce sight to just black + some minimal "distortion noise" you can also put an eye-cap if you find a pirate who´s kind enough to lend you one Also have paper and pen ready! 4. The Process: beeing shut of from sensory input on one side , now just relax and watch your thoughts and write them down whenever the thought is significant to you. you will get a feeling for it , just trust your intuition! If your right ear and eye is closed you also don´t use your right hand to write but you write with your left hand. (since you don´t want to awaken the right side) If your left ear and eye is closed you also don´t use your left hand to write but you write with your right hand. (since you don´t want to awaken the left side) 5. Duration: After 20minutes on one side you switch sides for a total of 40minutes. Of course longer sessions are possible and recommended for intensified results. 6. Analysis of the script: First you only collect data by writing your thoughts down, then after the 2nd or 3rd session review what you wrote down and find patterns. I won´t write down my findings here to not influence/bias your research. It will be really interessting to share and compare results in some days and over the weeks. 7. Some things to look for: Look for "dominance" of one of your sides Look for the "emotional state" that you feel, is there a difference L vs R? Look for thought patterns, are there any thoughts that ONLY occure on one side in your script? What about the amount of verbalized thought L vs R What about concrete thinking vs abstract thinking? What about accessing random memories VS making plans What about beeing associative VS thinking linear Do you feel more comfortable on one side? Does one side feel more alien , like "not beeing fully yourself" to you? Do you feel tired only on one side? If there are patterns when you review the list you will see them!! The list is of course unexhaustive, so please share your findings and ideas on what to notice.
  16. @ElenaO maybe something like " are you sure this is best way to do this? in my opinion/experience it's better done this way". It's true that it's tricky to be sincere without bringing the ego/judgment to the equation, but it can be learnt with experience. I also work in a place that everyone look at me like I'm an alien when I mention meditation, but still when I say what I think, even if everyone laughts at me or think I'm crazy, I'm not withholding what I wanna say and it makes me free so much that I don't really care about others opinions.
  17. Krishna is an alien?, how the hell can he do all those beautiful things he was perfection. From what i heard Budha to had a teacher for 3 years or more. and he had lot of teachers grace on him and good past life deeds that abled him to attain Nirvana. Internet can never be a teacher. Internet can only bring you teachers?. You need a good teacher to move forward. Hindus say this" And when time is right;Teachers comes to u"
  18. It's a movie that came to DVD last week. It's in the sci-fi / alien category, but the movie itself is about communication. The aliens don't know English, so a communications expert and a quantum physics theorist teach the aliens some English while learning the way the aliens communicate. It came to mind because I have never seen a better example of stripping communication down to nothing and building it. It's a good movie overall as well. I won't spoil it, but in it's theme of communication, it also incorporates nonlinear time and some qm principles.
  19. Its amazing, this journey!! 20 years ago I would have denied everything anyone told me about spirituality. I had a friend by the name of Kari, who was into self inquiry and spirituality and I secretly thought she was full of shit. Now I know she was right on point. I don't know if I'm enlightened, and I'm pretty sure I have awoken. Despite this, no matter how polite I am, people still act like rude assholes. No problem I think, they're basically unhappy and are fearful. Afraid of life, afraid of others, afraid of death. They get pummeled by negative news designed to keep you in fear. One day I was on the bus stressing over the same old bullshit and then it just occurred to me that I was tired of worrying all the time. So I stopped. I've had enlightenment experiences, to be told later. I was reading the alien thread by Leo, and to be honest, was frustrated with it. However, today even though I was really frustrated with all "this crap", I spontaneously thanked the plow guy for keeping the sidewalks clear. It markedly made his day, even though that wasn't my end game. Today I feel clear and clarified and the most I've been in touch with "me", presence, being, spirit, god, consciousness, or whatever word you want to use. In short, I think that being relaxed, and even skeptical to a certain point brings you back full circle to ones True Self. Namaste to you all.
  20. @Ramu Nice work, Stay centered even if others are projecting a bad day. See it as an opportunity to practice your practice. You mentioned the "alien thread" Ra? Yea, I gotta back off that too after a while. I was listening to the audio book on youtube. A bit much detail about spacecraft, ect. but the overall message of love/Light/Light/Love is beautiful. Here is a summery of the basic message if you haven't seen it yet. Just to mention something I thought was interesting. He talks about the Law of Free Will". We even choose when to incarnate so that we can work on ourselves and move on to the next higher density.
  21. @Nahm That was deep, perhaps in an alien language
  22. you mean the alien thriller that's showing now, called Arrival? or something else - in which case could you provide a link?
  23. We all have the feeling of being embodied in the body of flesh and blood. This body is how we interact with the world and in a dualistic point of view the separation of "I am" and reality outside of us. The physical body is a temporary embodiment of the stuff the entire universe is made of, so you are litterally made of the universe and not from some alien material that is only you. The universe could be seen as a vast ocean of water with many ripples and waves, those waves are still the ocean but viewed from an observer reflecting upon itself have distinct identities. Living creatures could be seen as droplets that temporary live in their own sphere or embodiment until this returns to it's normal resting state. Dualism is created when we embody or conceptualize something because this is the starting point of having separation. Now since you are a temporary embodiment of reality you are practically separated and cannot know anything outside yourself. You can only know your thoughts or your reflection upon some elses thoughts. You can never really absolutely know what they imagine or want to say in the fullest form, it is all an approximation of reflecting upon your experience and knowledge to make sense of what they say or how you experience things to be. Non-duality is the exact opposite and tells us that you don't have any body, there is no separation and you experience whole reality without any relative standpoint in any moment in space and time. It's completely timeless, infinite and void in experience, but practically speaking (there comes the ego again..) survival in a dualistic world cannot succeed without an ego or dualistic thinking. Only death can release this embodied reality to it's infinite void again. Nothing is experienced without body, only an infinite void of oneness. Reality is wrapped around your body because your senses only reach as far as the edges of your body. Even sight might create the illusion of seeing and experiencing something in the distance, this is not true. There is really no distance between you and anything you experience, sight is projected on your retina and experienced at the nerve ends. This might sound very obvious but have you really thought about what this means about the experience of distance? Distance is only created in the mind since the 2D projection of sight has no depth, the universe is wrapped around you like a 2D sheet and only time and memory of the past give it a 3D illusion. The shape of your body is important because it will not only help in a physical sense but also in your mental perception. The body acts like a lens which is made of the same material as all of reality and projects from both focal point a virtual image that we experience as the ego. Metaphorically speaking training and keeping your body fit creates a stronger more powerful lens, whereas the perspective of the mind sets what to look for and how to focus this into your being. I hope someone might find this usefull, some things are really obvious but this stuff goes really deep to what experience is made of. It's not about the content, it's how it gets interpreted. EDIT: Cells are like cosmic foam, temporary bubbles that encapsulated reality in a distinct body
  24. @Peace and Love Taller than I assumed. Yeah, admittedly he's also on my list of 20 some-odd crushes at any given moment. I am positive that in some reality variant he is most certainly an alien. Probably this reality, tbh. Lol, and in another reality we are all the aliens. And in another, this forum is where we all teach Leo essential lifeskills.
  25. @BabyBat Well..I sure think Leo is the cutest alien I've ever seen! Too bad he's taken though. I'm thankful for his really big head because it holds ALOT of information.....really good useful information that we all use here! I'm really not convinced he's an alien though....maybe if he painted himself green, and had some antenna sticking out his head...looking like he was the character Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z I might be convinced..... lol jk Are really sure he's an alien though?? He looks pretty proportionate to me.... and wait a minute.........What if he's not the alien.....but we're the ALIENS?!?!? (Mind Explodes from Enlightenment Experience!!!)
