I researched Gafni's biography. He has a lot of sexual abuse incidents. Like 8+ which he doesn't really deny. It's kinda nuts at how many different points in his life he exploited women. It wasn't just one period in his life but multiple periods.
I don't understand why Ken Wilber associated with him.
Gafni clearly has problems with handling his sex drive. Which is hilarous because so does Aubrey. They are the perfect match.

Gafni is obviously a problematic dude.

I think first and foremost Aubrey invented it to sell himself and his girlfriends that what they are doing is highly conscious.
Aubrey's ego needs a way to rationalize its horiness as spiritual, conscious, selfless, and Godly. Otherwise it would have to give up all the fun sex.
Aubrey is avoiding the elephant in the room: giving up his sexcapades. His ego will invent whatever stories to avoid doing the real serious inner work on that issue.

"Hey girl, there is a wild untamed stallion of Eros inside of me"
Or as us simpletons call it:
    "I'm horny"
You know... until I saw Aubrey doing this, it never even occurred to me to poeticize and spiritualize my horniness. That's a level of creative self-deception my mind couldn't conceive of on its own. It took a pioneer like Aubrey to show us the way.
Here I was, like a fool, trying to transcend my horniness, when I should have just called it untamed stallion of Eros and fucked every girl I could.

I've been in the trap Aubrey is in. Trying to play to his audience, trying to do the work publicly, trying to play the guru role. It's too performative. The real work is done privately when you go away from YouTube.
For Aubrey to really slay this beast he'd need to quit YT for a year or two and stop all the sex, relationships, socializing, partying, weed, and business. Just sit alone for 6 months and stop all social activity. That is the real work.
But this would kill him. He's addicted to the attention and the whole social game of it all. Real spirituality is not a social activity.
The only way to stop caring what others think about you is to realize that all the rewards of the social domain are fake -- fool's gold.
The whole social domain is fake and false.
He's not serious enough to give it up. He wants to keep playing that role of a spiritual influencer and maintain that whole New Age facade. I don't think he understands any other kind of spirituality but the socializing and the feeling good kind. Real spirituality would bore him to death.

Yes, but such people are usually too weak to do the work necessary to reach God deeply.
The problem is that spiritual work is some of the emotionally hardest work there is. Many need it but few are willing to stick through it. Spiritual work requires exceptionally strong character to reap its fruits.
It's like running a business. Poor people need money real badly but they are not in a good position to launch a thriving business. But of course running a business is the ultimate solution to poverty.

I don't think there are karma points. The universe doesn't keep score of what you do.
However, you might regret harming yourself. So that's not to be taken lightly.
The point is that higher consciousness can reduce suffering and increase satisfaction with life. Although it can take a lot of work to reach that point.
If you have reached a suicidal point, I would definitely suggest trying a hardcore spiritual practice first because maybe you will have some breakthrough that changes how you experience life. Similar to Eckhart Tolle's biography. He was suicidal and turned around to have a good life.
Unfortunately chronic health problems can be very serious and seriously affect quality of life. I have struggled with that and it can feel like you're trapped.

  7. Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)
Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)
Yes, I understand. Money, sex, fame, luxury is very alluring. It's how the Devil ensnares you, gets you to compromise on your higher values like truth, justice, morality, consciousness.
    The answer is three-fold:
    1) Authentic spirituality is just hard. There's a good reason why its so rare and revered. Placing truth above every other value requires super-human courage and discipline. This cannot be made easy. You are choosing the hard life rather than the fun life.
    2) With Awakening/God-Realization, your connection to God can become so profound that it gives you more joy than any materialist rewards like sex, money, and luxury vacations. So it's about building a really deep, serious connection/consciousness of God that makes all the Devil's enticements pale in comparison. But this level of connection is really hard to reach, requiring lots of sacrifice and work.
    3) You can burn through some of your desires by pursuing them. Go have some sex, go make some money, go take some luxury vacations just to realize that you will still be left unsatisfied. The allure of the Devil's rewards start to lose its appeal once you've had enough of them. Eventually you realize the Devil's rewards are fool's gold and you start to crave real gold, which only God can give. Eventually you start wanting God more than you want luxury vacations to Egypt or threesome sex.
How much threesome sex do you need to have before you realize that God is better?
Well... if you're Aubrey, probably never. So here we are
The more money, fame, and sex you have, the harder it will be to throw it all away for God.

There is a deep connection because wealth is usually acquired and maintained through untruthful, corrupt, selfish, unconscious means. It's really hard to earn $100M through conscious honest hard work. That kind of money usually comes from corruption, and it also corrupts the people who hold that kind of money. That kind of money certainly affects your spirituality.
Spirituality is a battle against survival, corruption, and dishonesty. Rich people are in the habit of placing survival over truth. If you didn't place survival over truth, you would never get $100M.

Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)
The ego is extremely sneaky in its ways of survival.
The ego uses polyamory as a way to broaden its search for the best partners, then once it finds the best one, it tries to ditch polyamory and go exclusive with the best it thinks it can find. But after a few years it gets bored or thinks it can find something even better. This is what's happening with Aubrey. He's jumping between poly and mono as it suits him. But then he rationalizes this egoic materialistic survival behavior as spiritual and divinely inspired.
That's what's so offensive about what Aubrey is doing. He's trying to get away with calling selfish, materialistic behavior highly spiritual. But truly spiritual people don't want to buy this BS he's selling.
To be truly spiritual is to transcend this materialistic chasing. But that doesn't fit Aubrey's philosophy that spirituality is supposed to be fun, exciting, and hip. He wants to be spiritual but also run around and have sex with whoever he happens to like that month. It's a sick, billionaire's idea of spirituality. It's like, how can I be spiritual but still keep my big luxury yacht full of servants and prostitutes?
This is why I can at least respect Zen Buddhism. They are serious about a spartan lifestyle. When rich & famous people get their hands on spirituality they want to marry it with their luxurious lifestyle -- which is bullshit. Real spirituality requires surrendering luxury and materialistic decadence, not rationalizing.
Running around having sex with random people is not spiritual. What's spiritual is surrendering that lifestyle to sit alone in a broom closet contemplating God. But you can't share that on Instagram. It's no fun.
This is a great example of the sophistication and craftiness of self-deception.

If you are good-looking, famous, and have $100M -- yes, you will have an endless supply of women no matter how badly you treat them.
Women love a rich, famous, handsome, charismatic, extroverted narcissist. This is a girl's holy grail. This is like candy to a child or a mouse to a cat.
And then when you mix woo-woo spirituality in with that, and a bunch of spiritualized jargon and poetry about love -- this is chick crack. You couldn't design a better trap for pussy.
Aubrey Marcus is the venus flytrap for pussy with an endless appetite.

    So here's the thing:
He got bored of having sex with his wife within less than 2 years.
How long will it take for him to get bored of sex with both these girls?
The elephant in the room is that Aubrey wants these deep loving relationships, but at the same time he gets bored with sex so quickly and he has zero interest in sacrificing hot new sex. Which is the only real sacrifice needed here.
He's pumping himself full of so much testosterone, he wants to fuck everything that walks.

Aubrey made a huge mistake publishing that podcast with Vylana and Alana.
Their situation could have lasted had he kept it private, but now that he's made it so public, Vylana will never hear the end of it. People will keep whispering around her how he is exploiting her and it will slowly eat away at her soul until the whole thing implodes. I doubt she will be able to handle all the gossip and judgment. This whole incident will be like a worm in her brain. She will torture herself over this while calling it spirituality.
There's good reason why Mormons keep their polygamy secret. The women need to be kept in the dark and isolated for it to last.
Aubrey naively wants the benefits of polygamy but with honesty and transparency. Fat chance. There's good reason why polygamy is not socially acceptable in developed nations. It only exists in patriarchal 3rd world nations where the women don't have equal rights and there is no transparency.
And Aubrey is being quite foolish because Vylana will divorce him and take half his fortune. If he is legally married to her with no pre-nup, he better start praying to all the gods in the pantheon every night.

I saw a clip of Aubrey nearly crying at how good and beautiful RFK Jr was. When I saw that, I cringed and realized the depth of the self-deception here.
The intellectual rigor is missing. RFK is such a delusional man.

    Yeah, that is gross.
He's not just a fan, but the way he rationalizes Trump as "truth" shows how deeply deluded he is with his spiritual rationalizations.
This is the key clue that reveals that Aubrey is deeply fooling himself with spirituality. He does it with Trump, he does it with sex.
It is survival and ego masquerading as spirituality.
Aubrey has mastered the art of bullshitting with honeyed words. He makes nonsense sound so sweet and charming and lovely.
It's love as bullshit. He bullshits these girls with love, but in the end it's all so cartoonishly self-serving.
No awareness in him of how survival corrupts spirituality.

Having considered all the evidence, I retract my original opinion and agree there is plenty of self-deception and corruption in what Aubrey is doing.
But the girls are also playing their part.

Vylana is nearly 40. What is the power imbalance? She can leave any time. She just doesn't want to. So what are we supposed to do about that? Belittle and shame her online until she feels so bad she leaves?
Women select bad men all the time. Which is why I wasn't so opposed to their arrangement. If I had to spend my time telling women to leave their bad boyfriends, that would be a full time career And the bottom line is, they don't want to leave because they get survival value out of it.
I don't like being in a position where I have to tell a woman to leave a guy because she is deluded and he is bad for her but she really likes him anyway.
Of course not the entire field. But that culture as a whole has little regard for truth and loves to engage in spiritual rationalizations of their survival behaviors. People join the New Age for the spiritual fantasies. Then shit hits the fan as you can't outrun the truth.

  18. Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)
Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)
    Yeah, that is good.
It is funny though how zero responsibilty is placed on the women.
Like, these two women get to fuck a handsome famous mega-millionaire. And none of that is their fault. They could have shacked up with a thousand other guys, but they just so happen to love the guy who is worth $50+ million and takes them on fun vacations around the globe. He's the evil one and they are just helpless innocent pawns who are being exploited and abused.
Also, all these New Age women believe such fantasies. And that's all okay. But as soon as Aubrey does the same, now all the sudden it's spiritual delusion and 1+1=2. Astrology? -- no problem. Isis telling Aubrey to have children? -- delusion.
The entire field of New Age spirituality is delusion. So they are perfect for each other. As if a monogamous New Age couple would not have equal amount of spiritual delusions about their twin flame soul connection, blah blah blah.
New Age people are not doing truth-seeking, they are doing survival with spiritual flavors. So what you see with Aubrey is spirit-flavored survival, because he never did serious truth-seeking. That's not why he or his girls got into spirituality. They all wanted spiritual flavored survival. So that's exactly what they got.

Keep in mind that these 3 guys are fucking Jesus worshippers. So of course they will be against New Age polyamory.
The balls on these 3 to speak about spirituality and delusion when they worship a human. Sneaky devils, acting all high and mighty while inside a cult themselves.
The reason they are offended by the Aubrey sex cult is because it conflicts with their Jesus cult. This whole video is Christian rationalizations.
From one trio of bullshitters to the next. The self-deception is just rentless.
I knew something about them smelled fishy. Now it all makes perfect sense.

I can tell you a much simpler psychology of all cults:
    NO ONE CARES ABOUT TRUTH.
That's it. You don't need complicated Freudian explanations. No one who cares about truth would ever join or start a cult.

Stage Green people mix weird New Age spirituality with weird sex practices all the time. This is their bread and butter. Not much new in that. Does it work out? Probably eventually not. Which is why I'm not into the whole New Age movement. This is classic Hippie stuff.

Monogamy fails. Polyamory fails. Human love fails. Nothing new there.
Human love is full of illusion regardless of who you do it with. That's why I don't have a problem with this.

  23. Is this the evolution of polyamory? Aubrey Marcus podcast)

    That's how inspiration works.
That kind of cynicism could be applied to monogamy. How convenient when a priest blesses your marriage or children! How convenience God inspired you to have children or love your partner. Of course God wants what you want for yourself.
Of course everything spiritual humans do gets tangled up with survival.
This love tricycle could be a great growth opportunity for the 3 of them. In which case God approves
Or maybe God wants to teach them a painful lesson about self-deception.
That is none of your business.

No individual monstrosity would be absolute. I mean a pure abstract, formless Evil that is Absolute. Like a polar opposite of Absolute Good.
Imagine Evil as a pure formless abstraction. It exists solely to inflict suffering on others. This Evil would spawn finite monstrosities to do its bidding.
If you can imagine it, it can exist.
