It's possible to do both. I have an amazing personal career and do a shit tone of psychedelics and Awakening work. That's actually the essence of my profile picture.
I'm just saying it's possible, it's extremely hard but it's possible, I've done it.
As a matter of fact, it's a way to keep my balance, dreaming and awakening are like my two wings, together they make me fly.

I'm so uneducated on novels, my reading is very developmental biased so the few novels I've read were on that angle. Hesse and Tolstoy are good in that line. 
I enjoyed very very much: Narcissus and Goldmund. It was a recommendation by my uncle who is a psychologist and I think it's very relevant to our work. Very profound implicit novel, you can draw many conclusions between the lines.

I don't think you should overthink that. Sex is just sex and it takes a long time before it gets really good. For most people it never gets real good and just stays below average. So don't expect sparks and rainbows (imho). 
But keep in mind that you will always remember your first time. If you want to remember your first time by that experience, go for it. 
At lest remembering the first is true for most women like me. 

I wasn't trying to shame sex workers for what they do. I don't believe any women should be slut-shamed at all and I personally have no problem dating a woman who had slept with tons of guys as long as she doesn't have any STDs. 
But given that most people perceived female sex workers to be a sluts I just wonder how does that affect her social life and her ability to get into any relationship with a man?

For some reason I feel scared when imagining my father looking through my eyes right now.
By this logic I should be looking through your eyes right now, but you probably don't mean me as an ego. You probably mean that if I am God, and I am the universe, then my father is also God and the universe. God experiences itself through consciousness such that there is no difference from looking through these eyes versus someone else's eyes. In that sense there is no distinction between any content or information in any situation in reality as all of that is relative.
On top of that, I guess it applies to all beings looking through my eyes, as ultimately they are all God. I think this raises a serious question about who is behind my eyes and how do I know. This is a tough one for me to understand.

The human self cannot care that evil is unreal. When a serial killer is chasing you, you will not give any fucks about the ontology of evil. You run from terror.

That is still true. Regardless of who he slept with 20 years ago, the fact that he kicked a heroin addiction is impressive nonetheless.

I'm 28 and couldn't agree more. Psychedelics amplified and eventually pushed me through an old career, forcing me to switch lanes to stay true to myself. 
I'm not using them again until I get my finances stable, have a good relationship, and learn more about the world. There's absolutely no rush to depart for the heavens.

Psychedelics often push extreme visions. All or nothing thinking. Life is about balance. 

@Leo Gura How long beforehand do you plan on setting the date? It would be really helpful if you could set it as early as possible. Hotel prices and plane tickets generally go up as time goes by, and for long-distance travelers, the overall cost would already be quite high, with a transatlantic flight and a longer stay to adapt to jet lag.
I just wanted to draw attention to that because it could make a huge difference in being able to book several months in advance.
I'd really appreciate being part of this first retreat either way. I especially value the fact that this is the first one and that it is experimental in nature.

He was born with good genetics to have consciousness of Infinity. However, that natural talent does not automatically give him mature, uncorrupt behavior. He never developed it because he didn't have to.
Sometimes having it easy makes you corrupt.

The commitment to being Good is distinct from Awakenings themselves.
You can have Awakenings but not commit to being Good.

Spiritual work can never be without some risk. There is risk even with meditation.
I cannot eliminate all risk for people in this work. If one expects 100% risk free, then simply don't attend.
My job is to handle reasonable and common risk, not every possible fluke.
All the risks will be discussed in detail with attendees, so there will be no surprises.

We can't know everything for sure. We are making educated guessed and erring on the side of caution.
Especially on this first retreat I want to be extra cautious and not take people who need mind-stabilizing medications just to get through their day. That is too risky.
I would rather rule someone out than harm them. Taking psychoactive substances is not suitable for everyone. Even weed is not for everyone.
Not particularly. A trip to Europe is not too expensive. Will be offset if a few more people show up. I'm not worried about the minor cost difference.
