Well, he was specifically referring to Charlie Kirk standing up for free speech. Whether you agree with Charlie Kirk's beliefs or not, he was creating spaces for debate and discussion and standing up for what he believed in, which is respectable.

What did that one crazy dictator say? I can guarantee freedom of speech but not freedom after speech?

He was a propagandist. That is not respectable.

When a right-winger says "free speech", he means "free speech for me".

Charlie Kirk was not killed for telling the truth. That much is certain.

Yeah, let's not forget he was on a mission to spread Christianity and conservatism to as many youths as possible, all while making millions.

You can feel bad about it and dislike him at the same time. No need to start bringing up what little virtue he may have had just because he was a victim here.

I’m entirely unmoving in my world view at the moment. I’m glad he was killed and I hope more right wing figures are killed by vigilantes. Grass roots violence.

Charlie Kirk was a piece of shit, but nothing good will come of this.

Step 1: Piss off as many humans as you possibly can by being corrupt, ruthless, ignorant, and making your entire life about stepping all over people. Never change your behavior just keep treated others like trash

Step 2: FAFO

Step 3: Cry victim at a "surprise tragedy" that "we couldn't have ever fathomed or saw coming"

Part of self development is spending time in the ghetto and getting sucker smacked in the mouth just because you had bad tone during one sentence of conversation. It teaches you a lot

Cringe view. Political violence is the least spiritual thing there is. It's literally repressive authoritarianism. Charlie Kirk was perhaps was a hero of democracy for championing his views publicly even the controversial ones, like they used to do in the cradle of democracy Classical Athens.

If you need to use violence to impose your views on others than perhaps you're just wrong or the problem yourself.

This will only enable the rise of America into an authoritarian police state with AI law enforcement. In a way I think that's ultimately what's good for society, having a monopoly on violence by the state but having it happen under these terms is concerning.

His version of Christianity is not Christianity

All the liberals and leftists celebrating it are insane, morals aside it’s horrible optically and just hurts your side. It’s also entirely possible we end up in a palantir surveillance future where they use AI to track identify accounts and jail people as part of authoritarian crackdowns.

Do you people actually feel sad for him or are you just trying to act "spiritual"?

I do. No creature should have to endure suffering and callousness, but God wants this.

Palantir is gonna happen no matter what. Stop blaming singular events for something that the entire civilization created. It's not Trumps fault. Or crazy lefties. It's the entire collective from top to bottom for decades of bad choices

This is seriously fucked up. Donald trump is polarising the political extremes and it's affecting other countries too. A stark reminder that real spiritual wisdom and epistemic rigor is far from an unimportant or theoretical value. If Charlie had more spiritual insight he could've focused on love rather than knowledge and not pissed off people to the point where he gets shot dead. Fuck me. He could've at least recognised the requirement to protect himself and plan. This is what happens when you make a deal with the devil (trump)

Unfortunately, I think it really might be time to pack my bags and search for greener pastures outside this country.

The Europeans were wrong about Americans.

We're not just stupid. We're stupid and crazy.

OMG, can you spin a more grandiose story about him please?

Charlie Kirk was a Titan, single-handedly holding up western civilization on his shoulders, the last bastion of the free speech and Truth in America. Jesus decided to take him from us today so that he could join his side in Heaven. God bless his soul, amen.

Seriously, the bullshit levels are just astounding with you guys.

I am just waiting to find out the skin color of the shooter. Depending on what the color is will determine EVERYTHING. It is America after all
