It's Christian in the sense of being based around the people and events of the new testament (many of the letters are transmissions from Jesus), but it is not biblical. The letters could contain anything, whatever the spirit wants to transmit through the medium. There's no reason to say they are rejecting reincarnation out of dogma, because they reject the idea that Jesus is God, or that the bible is infallible, or the vicarious atonement. Trust that the letters are actual transmissions from spirits in the spirit world. That doesnt mean its always right. The knowledge of the spirit talking, and the ability of the medium to receive the messages are limiting factors. As for your example, i don't know how to explain that WITH reincarnation (it's the soul that reincarnates, not the body, so why would there be a birthmark anyway? There is more to the picture.), so it is irrelevant at this point.

We can still try to grasp it within the convergence of concepts that encapsulate it, since the idea that enlightenment is a permanent death to individualization is such a powerful claim, and a conveniently scary one. The obscure thing to me is what happens after the state of oneness and how would you know that. If it's empty/void awareness, or non-individualized infinite creation. In the first case, form = fear, duality directly yields the illusion of ego. In the latter case, form =/= fear, ego is not necessary to the awareness of anything. We also need to know if we can split ourselves again or not.

Every object in awareness are a million different objects at once. From a tribal/purple stage, a mobile phone is NOT a phone, but an enchanted monolith that has access to the gods. From an orange stage perspective a phone is a clock work, Newtonian machine that is working of logic and order. From a green stage its a disruption of harmony with nature, from a turquoise stage its part of a bigger whole. And that's just spiral dynamics. Now consider what a phone is from the perspective of animals, insects, aliens, different objects (a beer bottle sees a phone in a totally different way to you). What a phone is, is relative to your identity. If you're aware every millisecond that your identity is relative (I.E. you're not a human, you can identify with anything) then you're capable of seeing every object in the room from a million perspectives at once. If you identify with paper, as soon as the paper gets ripped in half, you'll look at that like someone ripping your grandma in half. Identity is very relative. And maya is constructed from it. And then there are perspectives happening NOW where a phone isn't even recognisable, because the concept of phone just doesn't make sense. You can access any of these perspectives now SOBER. You just need to contemplate and question deeply about what's happening you. You can even just dissolve into white light now. Again by question what the fuck is in front of you. And when you take psychedelics, you're altering your identity and therefore altering what's in the room. You alter your identity not because the psychedelics are altering your neurochemistry (all that materialist stuff is an illusion/dream) the psychedelics are a placebo that's tricking you into thinking you're altering your neurochemistry. If you completely stop identifying with being a human, psychedelics stop working, because the placebo of "im a human and taking psychedelics affects my body" doesn't make sense anymore. That's why beer bottles don't get high when they take psychedelics, because that's not what you believe. Not because the materialist paradigm is real and absolute and its a real fact that beer bottles don't have neurochemistry to alter and blablalba... In your next reincarnation maybe you will dream up the possibility of beer bottles able to get high. What's real is what you dream up, and you can dream up anything. And you're dreaming up the idea of a human getting high with psychedelics and that's why they work, because you're dreaming them up. As soon as the dream starts to be revealed, it breaks down, and through contemplation you can actually question and change the dream. That's why Newtonian mechanics was real in the past but isn't real anymore. That's how going up spiral dynamic stages work. You literally change the dream by seeing form in different perspectives. And as for the rest of what you said. A materialist mindset isn't appropriate for the discussion. I suggest you use another one. Trying to figure out what's happening subjectively with shrooms using a materialist mindset is no more effective than trying to figure out the subjective effects of shrooms through looking in the bible for the answers. Reincarnation is as real as a cup. Its not quite true to say that a cup is false/there's no such thing as a cup. There is a cup. Cups are real, they are just dreams. What's not real is what you think the cup is pointing to, which is some 3D object in a 3D world. A cup is real, but its not what you think it is. A picture of the atlantis is real, but the belief that the picture represents some real thing out there isn't real/doesn't exist. But the picture itself is real. The atlantis is a dream/picture. Whatever you hear other people say or talk about, the first assumption you should always make is that they're aiming to steal your money off of it. If you fail to prove that it's about stealing your money, then it's either about controlling you which equals stealing your power, or it's a defence mechanism or some complexity playing out. In my case, it's a complexity, but don't trust me on that. Ask yourself, how is my behaviour supposed to change if I believe that reincarnation exists? How will this belief limit me?

You won't confirm reincarnation even if you have a direct experience of the absolute. You have to become concious of the subtler levels of relative reality (astral and mental planes in Hermetic terminology) in order to percieve these sort of things. There are specific techniques, but your conciousness has to already be in a certain level or they won't work

Its perfectly normal to feel this way. Anybody without witnessing anything directly will always have some resistance towards it. I also remember how I used to be. You are in a certain state of mind right now. In your current condition any reference to any story which was recorded in some book or by witness accounts will not satisfy you right now. Because you are looking for indisputable evidence for them and we have no readily available evidence except for said stories and witness reports. Even if some how if you get to witness such an event, your mind will explain it away by using some biased logical argumentation. What I would suggest for you instead is to first do some research and learn about THOSE things which we DO have Some/Substantial evidence for(but still most of the population do not know and consider it to be unreal). Once you get exposed to a few of such experiences of knowing about things which seem impossible, but are very much true will open up your mind for further possibilities and your mind will find it easy to digest those other possibilities afterwards. When nuclear explosion happens, the small ball of uranium or plutonium of around 5 - 10 cms turns into enormous amounts of energy. Similarly I believe when enormous amount of energy is concentrated in a single spot and stabilised will create solid matter. This can be understood from the fact that when gas is compressed, it turns into liquid, when compressed further turns into solid. But, in order to do so, it requires enormous amounts of pressure. From my understanding, I think when enormous amounts of this energy is directed and focused with an intention to turn it into an object will create that object. For E,g: Babies doesn't even have the bodily nerve and muscle configuration necessary to speak their first word. But, they start only with the intention first to say the word. The very intention when exercised again and again by directing it into physical activity creates the necessary muscular and neuronal structure necessary to produce that exact word. Which later they learn to produce all other words with the same method. Similarly, may be this energy when directed with intention may produce desired effect in the world creating the object. Just look around the world, all the big buildings to cities to bridges to space rockets to nuclear weapons to everything else man has produced. All of them he created in his mind first, which later directed by physical activity, has manifested into reality. As for the credibility of these phenomena posted above, some of them or many of them might be not what they seem to be. But, to reject all of them as fake without digging deep into their truth would be crazy. As for manifesting actual stuff into reality, generally yogis do not create stuff, its much harder. They simply move things from one place to another. Lets say you ask for an apple, they'd simply steal it from a market or an orchard: sort of like teleportation. But, just as a sample, like somebody mentioned here already, there is a story in Autobiography of a yogi which says a master had created a whole palace studded with gems by combining the ambient air or something. There are many such stories in that same book. Through out history there are way too many such reports, to reject all of them as false may not be wise. There are thousands of such books describing thousands of such accounts. Probably not all of them are true, nor are all of them false. Keeping an open mind is helpful. But, at the same time not too open that you believe anything and everything.

From looking at previous replies to your post by others and your reply once again. From what I understand, you seem to be thinking about reincarnation as some sort of an experience that can be recreated in an experimental way. No, It cannot be "created" in a laboratory. Although deep meditation practices and even hypnosis is used to bring back past life memories and is used especially in curing phobias from birth. The research in reincarnation simply means: Finding the people who remember their past lives and recording their statements about their past lives and verifying those claims by literally searching for the evidence of those claims in the place they used to be in their past life. If an overwhelming evidence is obtained for those claims, then that case is considered as a genuine case for reincarnation. In some cases the injuries associated with the past life which led to the death in the previous life leaves some sort of physical marks on the person in the present life.

Reincarnation is a tricky one because we try and understand it using conventional notions of time. What's the difference between a past life and a future life? That being said, what is a current life? Your insight resonates with me... I believe that we choose to incarnate into whatever experience that we want to have...just for the sake of having it...because I love myself (as consciousness itself) so much that I want to experience myself from all different angles and flavors. There are some articles on truthforallpeople.com that say that reincarnation isn't real. These articles are the channelled messages of spirits, through a medium.

Care to share some credible sources on the reincarnation research? Because I can't find any. How can research prove reincarnation? Haven't we evolved to believe in superficial things like higher power and free will and so on. Isn't this just a common pattern of delusions in a range of human populations. Will it be really bad if I commit suicide? I cant go on anymore. Will it harm my karma, reincarnation? May be these are all bullshit.
