Surface Structure of Enlightenment: The interpretation and expression of Enlightenment (realizing ones True Being as Infinite Being/Totality/Nothingness appearing as Infinite Being, which is the end of believing and buying into the illusion-appearance of a separate-anything/self in any way) is dependend on the structure/body-mind. And that evolves and changes. And has an endless variety. (surface structure). Deep Structure of Enlightenment: A Being in non-physical subtle realms, beings containing a whole realm or a World Soul, or even an alien from another galaxy will have a different expression - and a much different appearance and understanding in its mind-stream/perspective than an enlightend human. Yet, if you ask them "What are you?" the answer is "Infinite Being/The Totality/all there is/Nothing and everything". And if you ask them if they suffer (or resists some parts of their nondual being/appearances), the answer is "no, in this nondual mind-state with the separate-self-contraction/illusion seen through and cut off there is no suffering or resistance of parts of ones own being, there is bliss of the nature of my True Nondual Being, the Infinite Totality itself". Sat Chit Ananda. So, "they" are are aware that they are the Infinite Totality beyond which nothing can exist/appear, and there is no separate anything/self left. And that is the crucial difference to part-time and incomplete Awakenings of a separate-self-illusion. Ralston has now opened up a stage humans can develop to, which by the way is nothing new. Just read Harri Aalto for example, and many of the past masters. Wolinsky writes about Alien Realms for example, Jac O'Keffee, Ziewe also, and what not. What were Alien realms/expressions of consciousness called in medieval times? Divine beings, archetypes, and many names. And the mystical literature is full of that, including merging and becoming them. But giving too much importance to these new alien/divine islands of appearance (appearance, which they all are, since the "one" perceiving them is also structure-appearance), especially coming from an unenlightened being with separate-self well & alive & not fully transcended having awakening experiences ... well, suffering until wising up. Too much fascination with ones own tail or manifestation so to say. And that too much fascination prevents Enlightenment... because what is this fascination? An essential building block of the separate-self illusion. It is not that there is no room for alien islands of consciousness in Water by the Rivers perspective. It is just that no ultimate importance is given to them, because if that is the highest goal, only suffering will follow - as with every fascination on aspects of ones own being/tail that makes the separate-self grasp on certain experiences. The ocean is always right here, eternally so. If one is busy wave-surfing, one never drops into the Infinite Ocean fully, never truly becomes it on deep identity level (with all the benefits of persistant nondual states), and always stays the "wave-surfer". Yet, for some beings it seems to be their Raison d'être, so all its fine. Ignorance (or suffering separation and the absence of Sat Chit Ananda) is only a bad idea from the perspective of ignorance - Francis Lucille. For the Totality looking through all eyes its great fun! Else it wouldn't happen. Selling little alien islands in "the" Infinite Ocean to eagerly fascinated seekers (while keeping n+1 or an infinity of them for future hypnotizing explorations)

I get it . You claim that The ultimate level of spirituality as far as you have reached is alien love . But there is always more levels .. and those levels cannot lead us “to the end”. Because there is no end . So nobody on the entire planet have a clue about alien consciousness but you .it should follow that you have "enough consciousness " to prove it since you are the one claiming that . Is it that you struggle to find the words ? perhaps it needs a shift in perception. Because to me unless you give detailed demonstrated explanation of this alien thingy then you are just making it up (no offence at all intended)

@Leo Gura Do you ever think about the what new technologies could be invented to perhaps help with your spiritual work? For instance, would you maybe want a device that could take you to an alien state without having to use psychedelics? Or perhaps raise your baseline level of consciousness permanently? This realm of science isn't even explored because most scientist would never take these ideas seriously. But I'm curious on what new things we can learn by studying minds like yours. What's interesting about humans is that there even is a spectrum for what states of consciousness you can access, and the fact that it is even possible without having to change your DNA. I can imagine for ants there isn't much variety.

Interesting. Part of me wanted to say that it would be another thing dreamed. Part of me wanted to say, that infinity is every possible thing, so something outside of the dream is plausible, yes. My logical mind wants to add more concepts like a second dream side by side or encompassing the first like Russian dolls over the top of each other or layers, (wombs we are born/realised into is something I see talked about), but any explanation I could try giving to alien wouldn't be alien or unknowable. *Sometimes I think that's how the dream manifests, unexplainable spiritual concepts and/or thought gradually grounded into reality.

Maybe (real) You is the octopus, Alien, what Not,…, already? In a totally obvious way, if certain illusions of duality and separation are cleared away? Fascinating. What does Nonduality and Oneness actually mean and imply? Which apparently is supposed to always be true , or the case? Oh well, just forgot, we are sometimes a little bit selective here, and are not always aware of this Absolute Truth. Some minor or major illusions of separation and duality sometimes interfere. But nothing that some substances can not temporary, at least partly, clarify a bit. Partly. Temporary.

Yeah it seems like it lines up from reading that thread. So with the void experience, I felt a zooming out until size and dimension became meaningless, but I still had them as a point of reference. I know what zooming out is for example, I know what a void is, and I can describe it to you. With the white light experience, I can describe it somewhat. I can say the area around me turned a cloudy white, I can tell you I became the reality for a time, that you don't go anywhere to experience it. I can tell you that no sense we have of love currently is close to it, unconditional love is where you become everything, and no word needs to come before love. Its love, no conditions, no process, nothing in the way, just love. With the sorrow experience, I can tell you it was like vast ocean that scared me to touch, like I dipped my finger in it, and it was an overwhelming sensation. I realized all emotions are infinite because we are infinite. So I can get close to an explanation of all of these using references on this earth you can understand in language. if I was trying to describe alien to you, I couldn't give you a descriptor or a word from our language. At least that's how I picture it. The unknowable as they used to call it. The known, the unknown, and the unknowable.

Thanks I'll take a look. My preprogramming to alien means, something not of this earth or my experience. So something that I haven't experienced before (which would be all awakenings) but in a manner I can't comprehend or recognize either from existing experiences. So no zooming out. No white light. No emotional swell from within etc. These are things that are not alien to me. I can describe them, I have sensed them before in different ways.

Over there in the Cardozzo/Ralston thread "final awakening", I just brought that up. I told him a lot of us misunderstood the term Alien and it's not just me @Leo Gurasee, another one. It's not just me. I think most.

Do you intend your "Alien Mind" course to help bridge that understanding gap? When I hear you say it I feel like I understand. No amount of enlightenment or self-inquiry could give me the consciousness of an octopus, and that same logic applies to an Alien. Of course I know you mean something far deeper than this. If I want to start to understand Alien Consciousness in the meanwhile, where would I begin?

You can easily imagine the difference between the consciousness of an ant vs a human. Now imagine a similar order of magnitude leap beyond the human. This would take you into the Alien.

Can you define Alien in layman's terms leo, to help remove any pre-programming I have in the way of better understanding it? I've done infinite void, infinite love, and touched infinite sorrow. I can set the intent to experience it at some point but it'd be easier if I knew what I was asking/intending to see

The alien word is a way to describe something completely out of the world to a human. Like the concept of honesty to women.

Alien Consciousness does not contradict nonduality. It's just a step beyond it.
