What would it take for an alien race to acquire interstellar travel? How old might the species need to be and what would that likely say about them? What level of technology would they need? What purpose would an advanced alien race have flying over a heavily surveillanced part of our planet? Would they be spying? Plotting against us to take our resources? Just joy-riding? You can place weights on the possible answers and when you add them all up, the most likely answers support my assumption. I'd be open to better logic, but the whole "we can't truly know, but we'll weight the probability towards alien craft", which is what the vast majority of people who see this video are doing, just doesn't make sense. Interesting, indeed.

This show has gotten so bad. Should be called Alien: BS. EP6 is the worst.

Visual artifacts or psyop makes the most sense. If aliens can galaxy hop, they aren't getting struck by a 1980s missile. The tech required to avoid getting hit by flying objects is trivial compared to the tech for interstellar travel. If they can galaxy hop, it's highly likely they can avoid detection. But also, if they can galaxy hop and go anywhere they want, they'd already have all their energy needs met, so they wouldn't be here for resources. Or are they trying to spy on us? Not likely, as they would have tech that could spy on us without risking their detection. So what exactly would this alien be doing flying over contested waters where all sorts of surveillance is taking place? None of it make sense. The performative nature of the hearing points me towards a psyop. The government has been at this for a few years now. Not as exciting, I know, but if you lean towards actual aliens, you're choosing to believe that for emotional reasons - the logic doesn't compute.

I used to believe all the new thought and new age spiritual stuff in this community and what Leo taught... however, there is something to consider... What if psychedelics and alien consciousness is the wisdom of ancient demonic spirits that are seeking your own destruction? IMO, the only good Alien or Predator movies in the last two decades were Predators (2010) and Prey (2022). Anything Alien since the 2000s is pretty much trash. AVP1 was OK.

There's no character development or depth. The premise started out awesome with the the idea of consciousness being transferred into a new bodies. The first episode was very good and into the second. And the alien on the research ship was cool. But then as it progressed it became like a low budget horror show.

Putting children into adult bodies and then having them deal with deadly serious emergencies is a juvenile plot. Why would anyone think that is a good premise for an Alien show? That's the premise of a Mickey Mouse Club teen show. Watching people make stupid childish mistakes is not interesting. All the main characters are fools. The plot will be advanced by their foolishness and immaturity.

Nothing is ever going to feel that good. There's only so much you can do with Xenomorphs. Maybe if James Cameron came back he could make it good, but he's too busy making Avatar 9. Even Ridley Scott does not know how to write an Alien film.

The writing is pretty wack ngl. I don't care about any of the characters so far and the special effects look cheap af (when they're not practical). I'm literally just watching it to see Xenomorph action cause I just love the design of thay creature so much. I feel like since Disney now owns the Alien and Predator franchise, that the new stuff post acquisition feels very Disney-fied and nowhere near as good as the first two alien movies in terms of characterization and world-building. I can't see myself finishing it unless it starts to get really engaging.

Alien versus Predator is not bad either. Most movies are not watchable for me. Most recent dime that I watched is 28 years later.

Alien Resurrection is trash. There only exist 2 Alien films. 1 and 2. Everything else is non-cannon.

So, this gets 7.6 rating while Alien: Resurrection only 6.2? I would rather watch Alien: Resurrection on repeat than this modern slop.

There are things that are both much easier and more enjoyable; like experiencing an increased mood without doing anything, or even being ecstatic, having a wife and children, a life close to nature, and lots of activities. It has great production value and sets. The plot is juvenile and sorta ruins the Alien lore. But it is still entertaining to watch. Just don't expect it to be as great or as serious as the original Alien films. It's like high-budget Alien fan fiction. I am enjoying it.

I don't know how dangerous it is to put something controlling you as a narrative you tell yourself. Something i was thinking about breathe and reality is you are breathing in reality and then making up a story about it then breathing it out. So if you were to do it make sure to focus on breathe fully in and breathe fully out. I think the person who breathes deeper and longer has more control over reality. While ordinary humans breathe shallow and fast if you do it long and deep then your breathe wave will stay there longer and people will pick it up as they breathe by you. Also to keep aware of dualities you create when telling these stories as you are the opposite. The world is an unequal place, resource allocation is stagnant and perverted. This invariably creates issues, scarcity drives people to crimes, distorts their sense of survival into something ugly. It's not a problem which is seeking some hotfix, it's the symptom of the very system's existence, it's the hidden cost, a hidden requirement for it to keep functioning. These problems are not something we should tackle morally, human beings cannot empathize. The solution is to design efficient system so that we do not create scenarios for those problems to occur, our systems are simply inefficient to carry us further, it may be better than previous iteration, but not good enough. And the worse part? The systems in place are normalized and taken for granted, even thoughts like this are seen as some alien bullshit. Because to observe it, you need some distance. Here's the deal, the system in place will make sure nobody will have that breathing room to see it, even if they can see it clearly, the system has been made immutable by design. I don't think we humans are capable of true empathy. If we were truly empathizing with victims of war, starvation, poverty, we wouldn't be operate functionally, so we let it recede into the background, that's just how human beings can operate optimally.
