Hey, what's up! This is Jack R. Hayes, I'm an author, currently living in Germany. Thus far, I've written two books, both in English and German; one's called "User's Manual for Human Beings", and the other one's called "The Wisdom Espresso". If you'd like to check out my work, visit me at  https://jackrhayes.de  or go to Amazon and search for my name. I'd be happy to see you there!

Peaceful Warrior is another one I forgot to mention.

But my main recommendation would be Groundhog Day.  It's the best movie ever made in my opinion.  Lots of humor and a powerful spiritual message.

Blinded By The Light.

Watched this last night. Not so much a movie about awakening, but a near perfect depiction of, well, basically everything we chat about here.

Can’t recommend it enough.

It’s similar to Billy Elliot, and What Dreams May Come, in that it conveys awakening within the story itself, rather than being about it in content.

Vanilla sky.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2

Mirror by Andrey Tarkovsky.  "Everything is consciousness" is coded in every scene.

The Fountain by Aronofsky

I second this one!

Also, this film: Paris, Texas by Wim Wenders. Not directly about enlightenment like The Fountain, but at least as profound:)
