Islam vs actualized.org

Islam is designed for pre-rational minds.

Actualized.org is designed for post-post-rational minds.

In a certain sense it is easier to be happy as a pre-rational mind. Then again, if you think Muslims are truly happy, you are kidding yourself.

Why would muslims or christian or atheists they not be happy? Many of them seem happy. and that without doing any epistemology, meditation, consciousness work, philosophy, etc.

Of coursem many of them are miserable and defensive as well. But people who are into philosophy/consciousness stuff can be just as miserable.

“Islam can be summarized in three sentences: Be with the Creator, without creation. Be with creation, without ego. Wish for others what you wish for yourself.”

— Shaykh Zakariya al-Siddiqui

I’ve been listening to a book about Islam. Islam is more advanced than @Leo Gura is giving credit for. It’s right about god, self purification and many things. It seems self aware from this book, that there is a difference between the religion and the truth. I suspect not all muslims are as advanced as the author of the book I listen to.

The core of islam’s understanding of God is essentially true. People have many views about Islam but we wouldn’t have modern science without Islamic scholars.

There are many Muslim mystics which are great and an abundance of love and wisdom is Islam.

Saying it’s designed for pre-rational minds is not the take away I’m getting from this audiobook..

Because they are zombies.

Higher consciousness brings a new space of deeper feeling and happiness

If you want Infinite Love, then you need post-rational teachings

You make some good meta points I think you're correct that specifically stage green is not a viable structure for a group to operate in long term. We are basically in the west already half living in a stage green society. That's what the whole DEI movement is based on. Feelings, inclusivity, reducing competition, etc. It's still split between orange and blue but there have been plenty of pure stage green organizations and groups that form in the form of hippie communes or intentional communities and they always fall apart because fundamentally stage green is anti logic due to its rejection of stage orange and thus throws the baby out with the bathwater with structures that work.

Communism is the best example where it's a purely untenable idea and stage red/blue leaders co-opt the philosophical frame work to create states with it like the USSR and Cuba and end up killing the idealists that originally championed those thoughts.

Yup, that is correct. I wish I had something significant to add to that, but not really. Honestly all time spent discussing or even thinking about stage green is a time wasted (unless picking certain limited aspects of it, and implementing it to make stage blue and stage orange better), so my point wasn't about bashing stage green, but rather the point was broader; as mentioned above. At this point I am pretty familiarized with the entire stage green, and overall that whole stage is just enormous failure imo, from a societal standpoint. But stage orange and blue definitely can get better; billionaires, elites and goverments could be less greedy and not only focused on growth by any means necessary (which is a number 1 reason for the declining birth rate, the number 2 being wokiesm), etc. There are more ways in which these stages can be improved upon, but I'm not sure or I'm too biased to know for sure

ignorance is bliss. And I don´t think they are so happy. The just cope with life by getting together and keeping themsleves busy with nonsense. That is like me saying how well I smell because I put perfume on all my clothes and deodorant under ampits instead of having a shower.

The ancient scriptures are actually deep expressions of the human condition.  But they get turned into fomulas for the masses and become mechanical.   I find the rantings of some fundamentalist christians  similar in its shallowness to nonduality blabber.  We aren't improving.

I realized I look at religions through the eyes of a “multi-faith” or “Intregral meta theory” lens. But, I’m blown away by the quaran, Islam, Sufism, words of-the prophet peace be upon him.

Islam is a beautiful religion. Its explanation of God is very accurate.

Also, I discovered there is teachings of the heart in Islam that I think align with Qigong and findings of the heart math institute.

If you value Actualized there is a lot within Islamic teachings that are of value to you.

Actualized is very similar to Islam in many ways. Actualized is more modern, advanced more individualistic and perhaps immature.

The heart of Islam though glows brighter than Actualized. This I have felt.

So basically they are coasting on dopamine fumes most of the time?

The attachment to the ism is the problem and the cause of a lot of drama.  Once you start to see a person as a unique snowflake ironically you open yourself to human relation.

Why does it abuse so many people and leave them with cognitive dissonance if not straight up trauma then?

Dating wise actualized.org focuses on pick up artistry and hook up culture. Which i would argue is dramatically less fulfilling than islamic marriage and raising a family.

Oh this might be a slight misunderstanding (a watchamakalit, a miss, from two different perspectives).

First of all, ive never heard someone say "Hey, do you know actualized and Islamic paths are two different paths?"

Ive never heard anyone say that, or consider it as something TO evensay, its just such an odd thing to bring up...

I dont take that reading (about family/relationships) as a priority that "actualized" is focus on, but as an extra thing that you could investigate, or a baseline for thinking, generally, and that could include relationships. That is itself not what actualized has been about, or if it has, its not been like that (its a bridging-together of two ideas that dont relate in the way you might be imagining). Ive not even seen those pick up videos, thats how long ago they were.

What most people overlook is just how powerfully effective Islam is at producing a fulfilling life.

Im not sure Actualized is about How to craft a fulfilling life, but instead "How YOU can think in such a way, that may reflect on your life", like some people give you a life recipe (apparantly, islam?) and some people tell you what its like to actualize.

I dont really understand Islam. For, i dont understand why you would want like, a list of instructions... Like... What even is that?

... a man's role is first and foremost to be the provider and protector for his family...

Well, male lions rome the wild on their own without family, and so too do billions of humans, so like... a protector of a family is the assumption you have a family to protect. Your Islamic life isnt a direct contender w/ actualization. You just have misread actualization, and made it fit that role, but to millions or billions of others, they are two totally different things. Like, you are already admittedly against instructions, so whatever you are thinking islam is (what it means, to you) is ALREADY a version thats being reinterpreted by you. Ergo, no one truly follows a step-by-step lifestyle in the way youre imagining.

@LordFall I’m not saying go and become a Muslim.

@Leo Gura Your teachings do not stir the heart like those of Sufi mystics for me. But, they are intellectual. Not including psychedelics.

I cat puke on your cat puke. 🤮

What I am saying here is nuanced. I’m not saying become a Muslim. Well, actually I am saying be a true Muslim in a way. 😄

Anyway, I’m inspired by all religions. I know what I’m feeling and saying is wise as I studying many perspectives.

I am not religious and I don’t adopt all the culturally specific things or modes of practices.

But, there is profound wisdom and love in Islam.

This is despite cultural and developmental issues of many of its followers. Also, despite anti Islamic rhetoric that is popularized in the west.

I live in a neighborhood w/ alot of middle eastern and arabic speaking peoples, and the amount of times they have gotten into arguments, fighting over some inexplicably undefined detail, like the "right way to wear an article of clothing" fir example, or how to present theirselves, etc., its infuriatingly too many... And its annoyingly obvious what is causing those issues, but theres like a terrible misreading from people of all religions, such that, their beliefs dont let them see whats causing those wars and underlying validations, like... If you wanna fight over the right way to wear an outfit, call it what it is... Its a childish fight over "my lifestyle is more correct than yours", "my hat is suppose to be worn in this way". Alas, its something many Islamic/muslim ppl are struggling w/, and its something all religions have a version of, as far as those communities who believe theirselves to be following a more \*correct path, something they are already exploiting by re-interpreting and re examining the world through their personal lens of religious belief, given how it justifies "what to wear", if thats even what it says. Either way, its an interpretation.

The audiobook I am listening to is called: Secrets of Divine Love, A spiritual Journey into the Heart of Islam by A. Helwa.

It’s a beautiful book.
