Its not even philosophically possible. Whats the definition of outside you need to know what inside is first to even start the philosophy. Outside of what? People look up to big philosophers like this and see them is intelligent when his ground work is just non sense you can see the nonsense in the quote.

Not my experience at all, quite the opposite. My belief is that academics ends up twisting the mind so much that they end up confused. The interesting this is education still remains critical for personal development, but I think it’s kinda like medicine. You can take too much sometimes. He’s so smart that he’s dumb, some simple profound truths will only be realized if you let go of all the nuance and melt into them.

You can't look into yourself duh. If you try you will torture yourself in the darkness and the direness. You need others to see truth. Everyone is here by your own volition and creation. When you see it in them then it comes alive in yourself. This is spiritual practice. Amazing gaze (sic). I once was blind but now I see. Outside and now inside.

How does he adjudicate whether his own take is the shit he’s talking about or not?

If his opinion is shit than he’s wrong & truth can be found inside oneself.
