I mean you might as well just say that all business and human activity is evil.

Yuh, I mean kind of- Humankind and its societies are very corrupt, it's systemic. No escaping!

I'm sort of in a bargaining phase. Seen that this world is quite mucky and dirty. If I want to survive in life, I'll have to get dirty.

But how much do I really have to do? It is a very difficult question. Can I get away with only dirtying my hands or must I plunge into the muck and struggle my way out. Dunno, I'm no good person though.

Marketing is evil? Yes, of course it is.

But also, good luck being a wage slave for your entire life then.

@Miguel1 Either way you will work for somebody that did the marketing and sales side.

Just benefitting them instead. 😀

@Leo Gura I find that when I was in high school, combat sports were what I needed. It was the hardest thing I ever did , wrestling, the only thing that has come close is 7 day Zen Sesshin. pushing yourself to the limit, that's how you realize God. But deep down im a pacifist so I recognize if I was built differently wrestling would be much easier than Sesshin.

i finally realized Love on Sesshin. God is literally fucking Love. It's too good to be true but it is.

The whole point is to break out of wage slavery with marketing

So, about Leo's latest blog post about UFC and the corruption that stands from it.
I agree to the point where he criticises fighting to be used as a monetezation for capitalistic pursuits in order for some very corrupt and selfish people to gain a lot of money from the fighters beating each other. I also agree with the idea of fighting as a whole is a low consciousness thing to do,
BUT me personally find his point view kind of narrow with all of my respect. I am just expressing my honest opinion. As a guy who has trained martial arts for a few years now, i can honestly say this is what saved my life, this is what saved my spirit. My trainer actually wants me to go fight at competitions and i haven't accepted even once. This is because i don't want to hurt other people. My point is that fighting as a violent act is entirely different from training fighting and martial arts as part of a spiritual openness. Because the moment i step onto the training mat to the moment i have to leave it, it's all flow state for me. It's like active meditation, just focused on movement and breathing and nothing else.

You can find consciousness and integrity in fighting also, and i will use your main argument about reality Leo... after all it's all part of god's love. (i totally agree)

@Nikola Sure, that's a common line of defense of martial arts. I hear it every time I say anything negative about martial arts.

But after all those arguments, the fact remains that the combat sports industries are corrupt and low consciousness.

I am not saying you can't benefit from martial arts. I'm saying violent sports attract certain kinds of minds. This is true regardless of whatever benefits you receive from martial arts. Violence is a low consciousness activity.

@Leo Gura Hi Leo! I've read some articles regarding Russia and the type of RW propaganda that it spreads via social media in Europe. Those articles said that the propaganda is powered by the philosophy of Ivan Ilyin who died in th 50s! Also this Ivan Ilyin guy I've read is the one that both Putin and Dugin are influenced by. What can you tell me about this Ivan Ilyin guy? I thought Dugin is the mastermind behind Putin, could the philosophy of Ivan Ilyin be behind the rw nationalist anti EU propaganda that Russia is spreading in Europe?

how did Peter Ralston avoid the unconcsiousness of fighting?

Ralston got into martial arts because he was bullied and insecure.

He was conscious enough to see that and he retired from fighting pretty young.

You have to develop a taste for it, and you’ll only understand how deep it is if you start watching it closely. That said, I completely understand why some people don’t like it.

I have watched it and I can enjoy it.

Whether I like it or not is irrelevant.

The insights I wrote are still valid regardless how much you love martial art.

Men love martial arts for the same reason men love porn. It serves their survival. Just because you love porn doesn't mean porn is a conscious industry. I already wrote about this parallel.

The Vince McMahon takeover of wrestling is a good example of how unity can be achieved through brutality.

The movie Nightcrawler is a strange example psychotic corruption.

Same actor as the Roadhouse

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

@Leo Gura  I think you should slow down a bit with the blog posts, I used to love new posts and would watch the videos to the end because your post were unique each time and dispersed. Now its more, but I almost skipped half what you posted this year.
