Mysticism is an epistemic mode beyond symbolic thought. This is why no matter how much science and rationality tries, it can never do away with mysticism. For purely technical reasons these can never be a full understanding or accounting of reality without mysticism. This state of affairs requires science and rationality to be humble and deferential to mysticism. But science and rationality are too epistemically arrogant and metaphysically arrogant for that. Which, in a nutshell, is the folly and devilry of reason and science.

@Leo Gura So the ways to acheive Mysticism aré:

1. Psychedelics

2. Hardcore weeklong meditation retreat

3. Kriya Yoga

Leo, I dont have access to Psychedelics and I dont have the discipline to do Hardcore meditation retreat by myself (perhaps only Kriya Yoga)

The only alternative to gain such discipline would be to lock myself up. Either on a clinic, monastery or seminar. But I cant do It the way you do It.

Then you will remain Godless.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo GuraWell how did you get the discipline?

I remember you usted to struggle with meditation.

You mentioned discipline on an older blog post on why you didnt conclude an intensive. You said It was the most important characteristic of Spiritual Masters. But now you seen to have More of It.

How?

By getting very clear on your values and then just committing to following your values.

There is no magic trick. You just start and you refuse to quit.

I care about truth so I am willing to work towards it.

But my discipline is not so great. Especially due to health problems, it's often just impossible for me to follow through on certain goals.

Your problem is you don't want it bad enough.

It's not going to happen organically.

Massive dose of 5-MeO-DMT needed.

I absolutely do agree that I need to take psychedelics.

Is 5-MeO-DMT the only psychedelic that can help me access it?

Regarding that latest post on china take a look at this my peeps:

Apartments for 300usd in china. Yes, take into account that salaries are lower in china than developed nations by about 1/3 less but still with two people working in a household stuff like this is very manageable even for the Chinese:

And here is the Shanghai Auto Show 2025 the innovation and prices are mind blowing 🤯:

@Leo Gura this last post on thought is basicaly all I had struggled for years to grasp. Yes, thinking more about reality is insuficien since thinking about is always about " something" IN reality, but thinking is at same time already reality. So is like a knife cutting cheese trying to understand itself by the act of cutting cheese, but no matter how much cheese it cuts it cant never understand itself by the act of cuting cheese.

I think he means it's lonely you can't communicate these things to people 99% wouldn't understand. These conversations cannot be had openly in society so it's lonely for him.

I think he is referring to solipsism.

I don't know what an infinite singularity is, but when I tripped once, I felt really alone. Most of my life, I've felt alone, but I've never felt that alone.

I think Leo felt it a million times stronger.

If the laws of your country are the issue, then it depends on how you manage your income to go elsewhere.

"It is possible to test whether God exists or not, but not without changing how you understand what counts as a valid test."

So what counts as a valid test?

There's various ways to define those parameters.

Psychedelics is the most obvious avenue. But there are others.

Anyone watched The Surfer? Curious on folks' opinions.

Just finished it- thought it was pretty good. I like the fluidity and continuous spontaneity- it’s almost like a stream of consciousness-how random each of the scenes are while at the same time intertwining with one another. Certain scenes had an almost psychedelic feel to it- certain glimpses into insanity.

What struck me was that we’ve all been there where Nicholas Cages character wasn’t having anything go his way, humiliated constantly and on the brink of rock bottom/suicide- but yet it someone all works out in the end
