Edit: uggg, I couldn't watch that Cambodia one to the end 😣 you know these child abusers are so convinced it's sickening. Why are the victims so quiet and the abusers so loud? Even in prison. This pedophiles can't look beyond themselves. 

Imagine living in a world where you genuinely believe that 'children fall in love with you' and that you're the victim of some witch hunt because you adopted and abused a 4 year old Cambodian girl. This guy will fight to defend this worldview to the death.

@Leo Gura Can you elaborate a bit on this one? In what sense do you mean it? People who know me also know that I exist, right?

Do you mean that all the people I know who would tell me that I exist, are all happening in my subjective experience, and I only have my own subjective experience as literal truth, so I can't depend on others.

Is that quote really grapsable without grasping the real nature of others?

I seem to be in the center of my subjective experience. Everything is percieved in relation to me. Since it's always been like that, there's a backgroud sense that automatically assumes that it's "my" experience.

Not sure how to answer that differently.

The documentaries on low development areas are great. But good lord, some of these journalists come off as so naive.

It's like they don't comprehend that everyone is just doing whatever to survive.

thats just not true. maybe in dictatorships, or religiously fanatical countries .

Not to mention that police in America commits just as many crimes as 'third world countries'  epically ICE

Here's an example mate. So I used to live in Mozambique. There the people feared the cops because they where corrupt to the bone. South Africa has a border with Mozambique. Ask any Afrikaner (white South African) who has ever holidayed in Mozambique and the first thing he'll mention is how much they hate the cops. Traffic cops would always stop any car they could get their hands on and attempt to extort money from you. They made up bogus claims that you were speeding at 80km in a 60km area even though you were going at 50km/h because the roads are shit. 

But here's the thing. They didn't even care. Both of you knew you where going at 50km but it's so corrupt, they just tell you were going 80km and pay the fine. If you refused you could have them keep you there waiting all day long because by law if you refuse to comply with "the law" they can even take you to jail. The trick was always to ask them for the speeding ticket and tell them you would go to the station to pay it. Then of course all their bogus claims couldn't work and they let you go.

They had maaany such strategies and weird excuses to extract money from people. Another time they had a speed camera that showed a green car going over the speed limit, and they told us to pay the fine. That's all good mate but our car is Silver in color! 😅 Another time the cop stopped us and asked my mom if she had been to church that morning as it was Sunday. Anyways it was always one story or another with these guys and they always kept it interesting.

Why do they do all this? Because their wage is 50$ a month. You can't survive on that.

In India police rape, beat and extort street kids, beggars and low lifes of society.

Here in South Africa, we even have judges in the high court who are allegedly involved in the drug trade, it's next level corruption, take as much as you can for your own family, that's the way it goes, through all government departments here.
