70% hardcore introvert, 30% hardcore extrovert. But my extrovert side can be so loud and expressive at times that people usually don't believe me when I tell them that I am in fact more intro- than extrovert, lol.

Why so serious?

Extreme introvert. Get very tired very quickly with even everyday conversations with people including family members. Don't enjoy at all talking with others. However from time to time I need it (human interaction) just to not loose my mind.

Ps if anyone else is like this I'd love to know.

You can be both. You can learn to be comfortable and content by yourself and you can become good at expressing yourself freely aswell and master the art of relationship/communion. Allowing both the masculine and the feminine within you to fully blossom.

Are they opposite states of consciousness or just different?

An introvert and an extrovert have different ideas and experiences about concepts such as peoples, socialization etc.

They also possess very different kind of views of their futures and rationalize to themselves why there intro/extroversion is beneficial to that future.

An introvert and an extrovert quite literally feel differently into their bodies and their surroundings.

They possess different types of self-awareness of their minds.

They are definitely different states of consciousness but none is higher by itself. If an extrovert is lower than the introvert it's because of other factors that arise from things like socialization. An introvert, because they are by themselves, may be seen as smarter and sometimes more conscious because their stillness allows them more self-introspection.

However, the actual introversion or extroversion is not what is higher or lower in state of consciousness. A very highly enlightened person may be live either way. This can be seen beautifully in Hinduism through the example of Shiva and Krishna. One highly introverted and secluded for the most part, and the other highly extroverted and action oriented.

That's me. But I can switch to an extrovert also.so it depends on who I am talking with.

When I play games I like to interact with npcs. But that are not for social reasons

I don't know, it depends on the context.
It seems that this dichotomy is above all an aesthetic posture dedicated to hiding insecurities.

I like to play "introvert" to hide that I am in fact disdainful of the majority of people and their topics of conversation, because I am too cowardly or incompetent to express myself, because it's fashionable etc etc.
I like playing "extrovert" because it gives me a superiority complex over weak and shy people etc etc.

Basically, apart from these characters, everyone is a bit the same.
Everyone (or almost) likes to be with whom they get along well even if it means staying alone, everyone wants a partner but who at the same time doesn't open up too much and/or talks about our favorite subject, etc, etc, ETC.

(edit : Note the somewhat disdainful nature of this message, this is part of my character "of the one who has understood everything in life" But it's not too serious because a lot of people here play it, how do I know? Because I see it everywhere, it’s me! 😜)

Really, do you think so that this is the reason? He's literally going clubbing every now and then.

Spiritual people want to transcend being human. Lol. No, life will show you what that is like, and you’ll be wanting to rediscover what being a human is like again. And stop taking it for granted. The good news is you’ll be interacting as a human in more authentic ways, not completely dismissing it.

Introvert. With MBTI tests I always get INTJ and 98-99% on the introvert part. I find being around people, having to socialise and too much sensory stimulation (noises, bright lighting) extremely draining.

My favourite place to be is indoors, alone or with my girlfriend, quietly focused on something which is usually reading articles, watching YouTube or playing video games.

Ambivert, I was a class clown throughout middle & elementary school, so I was very extroverted. I actually educated myself on the "class clown" stereotype and there are many cons to it. Today I don't really get tired of conversing with others but I have this habit of not liking myself when I'm around certain people that bring that class clown out of me, which is why I sometimes hold myself back.

On the other hand, one of my favorite things when traveling is meeting other people, this is the thing that 100% makes or breaks any trip for me. I don't take in any lessons or experience any change in perspective from walking around and taking pictures for Instagram, like most people.
