How do you guys start into the day?

Here is how I do it:

  • Get out of bed
  • Thank the universe for another day and all of the riches that I am blessed with
  • Make tea
  • 30 minutes of Qi Gong
  • 40 minutes to one hour of Kriya Yoga
  • 30 minutes of Duolingo, sipping hot cacao, checking messages and dicking around on the internet

How 'bou you?

Why so serious?

Qi Gong sounds interesting! I start the morning straightaway opening the phone, though. Wait, I forgot another activity, I get out of bed first, and only then I do it!

1. Wake up, underslept from nightmare about astral ethereal cosmic torture
2. Sleep paralysis, hang out with skeletons, meatmonsters, and fractal fungal forms
3. Frontal cerebrum activates, do nothing until anxieties stabilize
4. Get out of bed, funpost to suppress anxiety
5. Start actual meals and morning routine late, miss low attendance timewindow of fitness center to avoid as many entities as possible
6. Fear freeze, intensifying negative feedback loop between social anxiety, germophobia, time-pressures, and inevitable perpetually worsening opportunities
7. More funposting to supress anxiety

It's a great way to activate the body after you get up. Without it, I would spend the entire morning in hardcore zombie mode, heh.

Wake up at 5AM. Pray. Till 6/6:30. Sleep again. Wake up at 9AM. Breakfast ready. Then up and about. I only take a shower at 2PM or something. Or early morning(5AM).

I wish I can go for a walk everyday. Every morning. (but this place, is not suited for it.).

Waking up two times everyday, especially in the morning is a blissful experience, indeed! We should make sure sleep cycle is not affected, though.

Weekdays:

beep, Beep, BEEP, hit snooze, rinse repeat x 5

MUST shower.

Awake.

Get dressed.

Make tea, possibly coffee.

9am.

Pretend to log on, by saying "hi" to work colleagues on phone (I work from home).

Faff about with emails, this forum, other crap.

Stretch exercises.

Crazy dancing for three songs.

Breakfast at 10am.

10:20 think about starting work.

12:30 lunch time walk, 40 minutes (but that's the afternoon already).

Weekends:

ZzzZzzzZzz

10am

MUST shower.

Awake.

... the rest is unstructured bliss.

Occasional meditation.

All stories and explanations are false.

No joke

If I do too much of a morning routine I will never get to work ;-).
