People trying to establish common ground, instead of seeking true ground between one another.

The latter leads to far deeper and longer lasting relationships, the former is ego management and so relationships resolve themselves only against the Clash of those Titans.

Fashion trends by season as a "must have". Especially fast fashion, but it could be anything, really.  Makeup trends, etc. How people style their hair and do their eyebrows as a trend, usually considered in 5-10 year time cycles.

"Quiet luxury" from people who don't have luxury (which just leaves "quiet" lol), as a means of attempting to emulate those who "have". 

Plastic surgery trends changing every year or two, if not significantly because of the evolution of plastic surgery techniques. (You have to go out of your way to keep up with what is happening if you're not in that world, personal I find the "art" aspect of it rather interesting from a surgeon's artistic/ aesthetic perspective more than anything else, not just the "doctor"/ applied science part.)

The unfortunate souls who ended up being human guinea pigs and now have filler stuck in their face and migrating around, even though they were told by professionals that they could get it removed at any times. Woops.

"Natural beauty" which is so often very high effort (like if you're talking about very well applied makeup looks). Clean girl aesthetic. 

Everyone who aggressively did the whole "body positivity" thing in the 2010s and then changed their tune recently because of GLPs (assuming that their motivation is aesthetics not an attempt at health). Not that you can't change your mind, but...... 

East Asian makeup and aesthetics. How incredibly and ruthlessly homogeneous beauty standards are on the mainland. The Korean plastic surgery industry. Double eyelid surgery there and how commonplace it is, to the point where some Korean parents will gift it as a high school graduation gift to girls.

- All the tribal conformities in South America and Africa, etc.

- Luxury brand pedestalization

- Supercar pedestalization on social media influencers profiles. (using supercars to get views)

- Goth, punk, prep

- Make shift holidays or "themed months". Actually all holidays. 

- Black Friday lunacy in Walmart, Best Buy and other stores

Actually I am not a big coffee drinker, but when I want some -- I do it without any guilt.

In reality everyone is different. I get addicted so easily to it so I gotta watch out.
