Utah is such a crazy state. I know the shooter could have a mix of political beliefs but when I go to Utah it's just full of these conservative types, it's just such a bizarre place to be.

I don’t understand the logic that typically follows these events.  The conclusion is always that large groups of people who had nothing to do with what happened are the problem.  So, in this case the immediate conclusion is that the left wanted to shut down Charlie Kirk’s right to free speech.   I wonder at the very moment he was shot, how many leftists were on the toilet enjoying themselves.  When they get off the toilet they discovered they had just shot Charlie Kirk.   What actually happened is that a single individual with serious anger issues got access to a high powered rifle made legally available to him by a gun culture.   The rest of it is made up fantasy generated by a toxic social media.

Have you ever been around Evangelicals? Just look at the Afghanistan or Iraq war, they do not operate in honesty. They just say whatever fits the narrative they want, they do this with everything; gas prices, flouride, immigrants, trans people, vaccines, covid, epstein files, taxes, billionaires, climate, green energy, ....

I've been around people like this.

I think many people on both sides are realizing that murder is not the way. The shooter was only one, but millions had that same murderous intent even if it was on a very subtle level. The celebrations and people's comments show that. But many are slowly realizing it is not the way, it is not love. Open debate is the way. Willingness to communicate with people with different opinions is the way. And that will move the humanity forward. This quality is going to increase now and it is very good.
