That's pretty cool to hear the history behind the name.

@Breakingthewall Just curious but how many times 5-Meo did you move to anything else? What do you take from all your trips? Did you break through the wall?

Yes I broke it until no brick remained, but then the challenge is breaking it without any substance. It's not impossible.

Shouldn't be a need now.

It depends on what you want in your life. I want to live completely open to reality, without the shell of the self. It's completely unnecessary, just a hindrance

Awakening is something that comes from within.  It's independent of whether you use a substance or meditate. It is the same.

Openenss is now. Closure also. Your current reality can be opened to the vital flow of reality, perceiving with absolute clarity what you could call the face of God, the pure divinity of the source, being one with it and being it. Being one step away from dissolving into the whole and looking at the death of form with desire. May each breath be perceived as plenitude and may the living flow manifest in all its magic. It has no relation to knowing something, since knowing is only part of the flow. What you know or what a fly knows is the same; both are, and both have no bottom.

Have you never desired a nice self image?

I have had that desire for most of my life

It didn’t work out for me though, a trap like many others. But I couldn’t help but want it, it seemed so good, but it’s only good for a little while, and it always has its backside… what you favor, you will fear the opposite.

To seek enlightenment seems to me like the wisest thing

Self image is a trap, because If you care about it, it blocks you. You operate from a place of lack, since self-image is something you have to obtain and maintain. Let's say you operate from the outside, like building a facade. Then the flow of reality is blocked. The flow of reality compared to the self-image would be like comparing the depths of the living ocean to a fish tank. One is absolute power, the other, a fish tank. If you forget the facade, the depth can manifests.

About if I personally have desired it, of course, who doesn't? We are social beings and it's absolutely impossible to scape from that pressure in almost all the cases. The point is seeing the traps and try to dismantle them

I agree. I noticed it myself

I wonder why everyone wouldn’t seek enlightenment, because humans always want the best thing and enlightenment seems like the best. A thought is that the self is so dense that the person cannot intuit the possibility of enlightenment. I think it was like that for me, if someone showed me a talk about non duality 10 years ago I would probably not resonate, but today when my self has softened over the years I resonate with it.

Seems that tere are people who, although very intelligent and understanding many things, perceive the separation between themselves and the external world so clearly that they see everything defined by limits. They may be Nobel Prize winners in physics or literature, or whatever, but it's impossible for them to intuit that limits can be dissolved and that the difference between inside and outside can disappear. It's mental but also energetic, then they will perceive any idea about real spirituality as total bullshit. There are also many people who do intuit this and truly believe they've broken through that barrier, but they continue to operate within limits, perceiving a center. Limits are quite resilient; they seem to automatically redefine themselves and disguise themselves as limitless to stand.

I generally very much like usernames referring simply to virtues and character traits, or maxims. Would love to see more users pop up with names like @Responsibility, @Cleverness, @Gratitude, @Foresight, @Humility, @Face_your_fear, etc...

It requires turning inward to see your own structure I think , which most don’t do

@Zigzag Idiot you'll be here forever.

I would login and there would be one certainty..and it was @mysticalninja.  That went on for years.

But finally he was done.   @Zigzag Idiot remained.  Through it all.  If you don't speak that's fine.  I don't think I've ever seen you make a single post.  But your presence is noted.
