  1. Reincarnation is a belief system, and the collective ego consciousness a.k.a agent smith, will make for you the illusion and spiritual experience of reincarnation.
  2. You must have committed big sins. And if reincarnation is also true, you will be fucked because your next life will be more miserable than your present one.
  3. I believe in some form of reincarnation too. And the people remembering past lives support that. I am also open to the idea of there being other forms of life, in other places or maybe even pararell realms What you’re trying to understand might be one of the hardest tasks because you’re dealing with reality on fundamental level. But it might be possible to find out still. Relative truths are worth exploring! It’s very fascinating!
  4. The Ultimate Desire is too be Unbounded or Totally Free, this is Liberation or Moskha, where Your merged with Absolute, or some say higher up realms, so yes this is mostly about Absolute Realization, reincarnation I would say is just a cycling program to allow it too happen over a longer period of time for this sort of expression of life as we know it too be... How all of this is happening is a mystery for Me, my only conclusion is that its a program of sorts to allow Potential as we know to be expressed here based on our laws of physics and how our reality is set up, it could be completely different somewhere else in another reality of sorts!
  5. What do you mean to discover here: the Absolute (understanding God), or whether reincarnation is the case? Because those are two different endeavors. I think you're talking about the Absolute, but the topic is investigating reincarnation, so that's confusing.
  6. There are also tons of cases where ppl have already developed skills in certain areas, as well as well with twins lets say brought up in the same environment with the same DNA growing up to be different individuals, not saying Environment doesn't have a role to play in how we are, it does but ones consciousness level plays a more significant role I would say.. Reincarnation is just a recycling, sooner or later one will come to the Truth of it, it can be done within One lifetime or a span of 80yrs which is nothing compared to thousands upon thousands of lifetimes, if this is what one wants there are established systems in place to facilitate this, but individualism and ego rule in today's day and age, so ppl want to try to figure it out on their own, like reinventing the wheel, lol, its stupid but free will is what makes us what we are!!!
  7. I believe reincarnation is true — and also agree that it is a relative truth. There are well studied cases of people remembering past lives in extreme details. But I also think that reincarnation doesn't necessarily have to be bound to Earth, that someone's consciousness could choose to keep evolving, after a life on Earth, in a different world or reality, such as in a non-physical reality. I wish to understand in great detail how God/Consciousness proceeds to divide itself and create realities and independent conscious beings. I understand at the Absolute level how it is possible, but a lot of pieces are missing to precisely know its design. It's like I understand how a skyscraper can be build, but I don't master how all the parts are put together to make it stand perfectly. I also wish to understand who we are and what we experience when we are not limited to a human life like this one. I think this avatar is just a tiny part of ourselves, and that we will expand back to our higher, vaster consciousness once we die. That's such an interesting topic, even if it is part of the relative domain.
  8. Why couldn’t infinity create something seemingly limited? It works if the limit is illusion that’s my thought Yea I wrote the same argument here, that enlightenment can’t end reincarnation because it would have already happened if we assume eternity I don’t get it
  9. Yep. It seems impossible that something perfect, infinite, could "suddenly" produce an ego, a limited and evolving experience; It’s the story of the big bang, there would be "nothing", nothing since "always", and then all of a sudden BOOM an evolving universe in a temporal dimension of dual and relative structures. The most obvious would therefore be that absolute unity does not really exist, is an illusion, and that we are fundamentally "trapped" in an infinite cycle of reincarnation, the « samsara wheel ». I remember you had made a topic on the same or similar reasoning which made you doubt the Buddhist possibility of the end of reincarnations. I don't know 😂 It was a funny theory I read. The idea is that for reasons of quantum logic, if you are conscious it is because ultimate is in the version of your ego that will survive infinitely. You are not going to commit suicide, you are not going to choke on blood pudding, you are not going to get thunderbolts, and you will surely find a solution (transhumanism, medications...) to basically become immortal; Maybe you will evolve until you forget this current form, but there will never be a "death" as a "quantum leap".
  10. Everything that is limited is a relative true. Then if the question is whether there is potentially another scenario than reincarnation in infinity, well that would mean that something that has no beginning can have an end, which is a bit of an aberration a priori. I saw a theory that if you're conscious, then you're in a "quantum immortality" scenario; Meaning you're a version of Sugarcoat that's never going to "die" for some reason. I think that was a troll lol but it's still fun to imagine that.
  11. Is reincarnation true? Let’s look at it. When we think of infinite mind/consciousness (reality) dreaming, we think of it in the context of this one life, as in reality is dreaming “my life”. But what if reality can dream several lives, connected to each other through reincarnation, so reality is dreaming a reality of reincarnation, but reality isn’t bound to reincarnation, it’s a dream WITHIN reality. So basically what I’m saying is that reincarnation might be true, but it’s a RELATIVE truth, it’s a dream within reality, just like “my life”, it’s a dream out of the infinite dreams reality can dream, so it’s not an absolute truth. Basically this idea of reality being a dream is not limited to “your life” it can apply across lifetimes. Maybe I’m sounding obvious lol
  12. A thought I have had: if reincarnation stops after enlightenment, then in all of eternity, enlightenment must have already happened since the probability of it is less than zero, so the cycle of reincarnation would have stopped already, but since we are here, it must means reincarnation doesn’t stop after enlightenment, because then we would not be here. Also maybe reincarnation isn’t true, but rather we “spawn” randomly, so this life has nothing to do with the previous life, there’s nothing that “transitions”, no residue from the previous life. I personally believe there’s something to the idea of reincarnation and “the souls evolution” because for example there are people with seeming memory of a past life. And maybe reincarnation stops after enlightenment but it’s just a temporary end. Sooner or later we spawn(incarnate) again, and how long that takes doesn’t matter because in eternity a million years is like nothing. But sooner or later we will incarnate no matter what, enlightenment or not, because maybe two lives don’t have to be related, so we will incarnate because the probability of life appearing is more than zero, so in eternity it will always happen again, so I believe. So I think reincarnation can be true, but it’s still relative, it’s one of many dreams that infinity can dream.
  13. I'm going to throw my line out to see what answers I fish out - my research is not clicking so maybe some responses can clear my state of enquiry: I'm calling bullshit on fear-based spirituality. So many teachings say that if you die with identity, ego, or “low vibrations,” you’ll spin into dream loops, reincarnate into lower realms, or carry karmic residue into the next illusion. But isn’t that just spiritual control? Another version of “be good or else,” just wrapped in mysticism? What if: Karma is just energetic momentum, not some cosmic judgment? Reincarnation is just the mind projecting continuity onto Nothingness? And low-vibe residue is just a story to keep the dream spinning? I’ve seen teachings that claim “as long as identity remains, the dream continues”—but that sounds like a trap. Like there’s no true exit unless you reach some perfection first. Is that actually true? Or is that more spiritual gaslighting? Anyone who's broken through—touched the white light, tasted silence, or stood on the edge of Nothing—did you really see karma holding you down? Or did you drop all of it? I’m here to challenge the spiritual narrative. If reincarnation and karma still exist after awakening, then is there ever real freedom? What’s your rawest insight?
  14. Having re-watched @Leo Gura Spiral Dynamics stage Turquoise video I am posting here my notes that I manually took from the video. No AI was used whatsoever. Enjoy! This is the final set of notes for the Spiral Dynamics stages. What is the essence of Turquoise? Holistic Global Collectivist Self-Transcendent Once again the pendulum is swinging. It went from Yellow which was individualistic, and now it's swinging back to the collective ego which puts an emphasis on collectivism. The collectivism in Turquoise differs from the collectivism of Green which was about joining a group and serving the group identity The collectivism of Turquoise consists of manifesting the self for the benefit of existential reality. Not for your Stage Green political party! But for the benefit of existential reality. For life as a whole! The essence of Turquoise is also to experience the wholeness of existence through mind and spirit The world is seen as a single dynamic organism with its own collective mind Everything connects to everything else A lot of boundaries break down There are a lot of ecological alignments for turquoise The universe is alive and intelligent. It’s not a dumb stone cold clockwork machine Turquoise is interested in building a human community based on mystical wisdom. Cooperative action for elevating the consciousness of mankind Turquoise is a synthesis of the left and the right brain. East and West. Science and religion. Mind body spirit and heart. Turquoise takes a very big picture of what life is about. It is not about the individual of becoming rich or successful, it is not about fighting for some political cause! It is about getting all of mankind to awaken to the magnificence of existence You won't find Turquoise in government, in politics, in education, in business, in the media etc Most people have never meet a turquoise human being People at Turquoise usually become gurus, sages, teachers, leaders, visionaries, healers and clairvoyance. Usually they start their own little communities When does Turquoise emerge? Turquoise emerges with the realization that Yellow has alone, no matter how much it models and understands stuff, It cannot solve the world's problems just its systemic understanding! There needs to be a community effort to work on these systemic problems that Yellow sees and that's when Turquoise emerges Turquoise emerges when Yellow starts to see that consciousness unifies everything and everyone The idea that consciousness is at the heart of every issue that Yellow tries to solve. Yellow must understand that only by changing the state of consciousness of a situation or a group of people there will be positive results. When Yellow starts to really see the limits of thinking and modelling and of reason and logic. When Yellow realizes that all the information that he has gathered so far, all his inquiries, have not led him to the ultimate answers. The ultimate answers have still not been answered at Yellow Turquoise emerges with very serious spiritual practices Turquoise is a flowering of mysticism When boundaries start to dissolve between self, other and the world. Physical boundaries With self-transcendence, with the dissolution of the ego With awareness of Maya, the dream that we are in When Yellow realises that the mind and understanding by itself doesn't bring him happiness. Yellow still suffers, is depressed and wants to transcend suffering, then Yellow starts to find a permanent solution to his unhappiness, so begins his path towards Turquoise Turquoise Values Consciousness Elevating the consciousness of mankind as a whole Truth. Existential Truth, metaphysical Truth Deep metaphysical insights Metaphysics Wisdom and the wisdom of mother earth. The wisdom of nature Mysticism Non duality Spirituality God and divinity Holism Integration and synthesis Integrating all religions and science Left and right brain synthesis Honesty Transparency Radical authenticity Turquoise values being as opposed to knowing, doing and having Simplicity Flowing with nature Minimalist sustainable living Collaborative synergy Human wellness Healing on every dimension ( The physical dimension, the emotional dimension, the spiritual dimension) Exploring altered states of consciousness Intuition Channelling or direct downloads from infinite intelligence Super natural degrees of creativity Spiritual purification Awakening Transcendence Liberation Unconditional love Compassion for all Emotional mastery Presence Mindfulness Paradox Esoteric teachings Gratitude Unity Deeper and deeper levels of interconnectedness Selfless living Sacrificing the self for greater consciousness of the whole Meditation Yoga Contemplation Self-inquiry Turquoise values not knowing Humility Spontaneity Playfulness Self-amusement Turquoise tends to be light hearted Really really big picture thinking and embodiment How to distinguish between Turquoise and Green Because both are communal and collectivistic pendulum wise, it is really easy to confuse between the two, so watch out! At Turquoise you start to have real mysticism whereas at Green you tend to have new-agey faddish sort of spiritual practices where you may take part in a spiritual group, you go to a Yoga class and do a little bit of meditation, or do meditation retreats here and there but it's not serious. You are doing it for like a health benefit or to calm your mind or to reduce anxiety. None of these have anything to do with real deep metaphysical meditation At Turquoise you start to have industrial grade levels of meditation and contemplation, not casual amateurism like what Green is doing. Turquoise is informed by direct non dual experiences rather than beliefs or ideas that Green got from reading a book. Green believes in a lot of things like reincarnation, a belief in Gaia, as a mother nature like design of intelligence, or belief in a soul or a belief in God! But these don't matter if you haven't directly experienced that stuff for yourself Turquoise embraces global collectivism without attacking individuality like the way Green did! With Turquoise everybody is allowed to be individualistic if they so choose. But at a same time there is a recognition of this sort of global collectivism that needs to happen Another difference is that Turquoise is conscious of the spiral and Turquoise is a spiral wizard being able to see the world from all these different perspectives in a way that Green wasn't able. Turquoise is not as triggered by social injustices as Green was. There is an acceptance and a deep understanding. The acceptance comes from a deep understanding of conflict, war, violence, greed. Green was just reacting against those unconscious characteristics , whereas Turquoise has deep existential understanding of these negative things. Turquoise is much more understanding of stage Orange. Doesn't demonize stage Orange the way Green does. Turquoise is not as political as Green, Turquoise doesn't take politics too seriously. Green loves to join its political causes, gets a little too militant to defend what Green believes in. Turquoise is a little more playful about the problems that go on socially although not ignorant. Turquoise avoids the mob mentalities that come with Green. In Turquoise there is an awareness of Ego, more mindfulness and more presence whereas Green lacks those traits. Turquoise tends to have much more emotional mastery than Green Turquoise tends to be non-reactive and detached whereas Green is very reactive and very attached Turquoise is quite effective at solving large problems whereas Green was more about getting together and protesting and complaining about stuff they don't like Characteristics of Turquoise Turquoise sees the human race as a single organism, everything is connected, this is not a metaphor, you actually see the dissolution of the physical boundary between self and other A fading of artificial boundaries of ethnicity, skin colour, gender, race, nationality, bloodlines To Turquoise, his mother is as related to him as his coffee table. All boundaries start to break down Turquoise sees the world as interlinked causes and effects as interacting fields of energy For turquoise there is joint activity across groups, factions and communities Feelings and emotions come back into play Work must be meaningful to the overall health of life There's a deep trust of intuition and instinct The self is a part of a large conscious spiritual whole Non manipulative Non-ideological Non judgemental Not driven by fear or selfless selfishness Doesn't play victim Doesn't play blame games Turquoise is far beyond Green faddish spirituality, Turquoise has direct experience of its spirituality and embodies spirituality Deeper spiritual and metal capacities are awakened. New senses, new abilities that you may think that are super human now become ordinary The development of paranormal abilities Healing abilities Astral projection Remote viewing The mystical becomes the mundane for Turquoise Inspiring levels of emotional mastery Minimalist living, less is more Ecologically conscious like Green and Yellow, maybe even more so now! Being a visionary Being an inspiring leader The unification of science, technology, medicine and mysticism A really deep understanding and unification of all religion For Turquoise collective imperatives reign supreme over individual egoic needs Turquoise is engaged in business. But it's gonna be business with soul. For Turquoise there is a sense of a greater community built around spiritual embodiment Turquoise represents the sixth and the seventh chakra, the third eye and the crown chakra Turquoise actions come from selfless love and an open heart Great mental and behavioural flexibility Sexual desire is transmuted into metaphysical love Turquoise loves to deal with paradox Post rational and post material Non-linear Human centred Super natural intuition High integrity For Turquoise the universe is both impersonal and deeply personal Conscious of the miracle of life Turquoise is now an even deeper systems thinker than Yellow was For Turquoise life consists of fractals Turquoise stands in awe at the cosmic order, like stars, clouds, trees, cars, plants, animals etc For Turquoise reality can be experienced but never truly known Dissolution of the ego A movement away from gross materialism to subtle stuff A shift from the external to the internal A transcendence of morality, meaning, judgement, life and death, duality, mind, reason, science, good and evil Turquoise is finally able to have really deep honest meaningful relationships beyond the shallow and petty clinginess and neediness and materialism that came with Tier 1. Examples of Turquoise Sadhguru Shunya Murti Thomas Campbell Yoda David Hawkins Ken Wilber Shinzen Young Deepak Chopra Stan Grof Osho Mooji Rupert Spira Ekchart Tolle's A new Earth book Ekchart Tolle's The Power of Now Eckhart Tolle Yogananda Martin Ball Terence McKenna Carl Jung Sri Aurobindo Pierre Teilhard de Chardin Ervin László David Loy Allan Watts Wim Hof Dalai Lama Sacha Shulgin Yoga Holotropic Breathwork The book the Holographic Universe The Akashic records Opening the third eye The penial gland Out of body experiences Samadhi experiences Paranormal abilities Clairvoyance Channels Mediums Rudolf Steiner Alternative healing systems The notion of Maya Psychedelics 5-MEO-DMT Rupert Sheldrake's morphogenetic fields Gandhi's ideas of pluralistic harmony The notion of Gaia, earth as a living system Biocentrism The Monroe institute The Esalen institute Transpersonal psychology as a field Quantum Field theory Sacred Geometry Reincarnation Opening chakras Saints Sages Mystics Prophets Turquoise Statistics Less than 0.1% of the global population is at Turquoise Less than 1% of the total world influence belongs to Turquoise The style of government under Turquoise is a holistic organism! Micro-management of all life forms towards the common good in response to macro problems. It is very globalist! The purpose of this government and this society is to elevate the consciousness of all of mankind Spiral Dynamics vs Non-Duality It is true that the higher you go on the spiral, the more consciousness the individual tends to exhibit, but make sure that you don't confuse stage Turquoise with strict non-duality. You can be in a non-dual state and not be at stage Turquoise Don't confuse Turquoise with Enlightenment or Non-Duality If someone is Enlightened, doesn't mean that he is Turquoise, and if someone is Turquoise, this doesn't mean that he is enlightened. The mantras of Turquoise Everything is one We are all God You are already enlightened Everything is perfect and at the same time everything is evolving To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower The kingdom of heaven is within Forgive them father for they know not what they do Life is a dream What triggers Turquoise? Not that much triggers Turquoise. Turquoise is acceptant and quite understanding of how Maya works, how ignorance works. Turquoise has developed quite a high degree of emotional maturity and mastery. The insanity of the world The status quo Myopia, the limited vision that people have Materialistic corruption Profits over truth and spirit Dogmatic scientism and rationalism Ecological dysfunction The collective suffering of mankind ( All the suffering that mankind is facing is largely self-inflicted) Little petty mundane survival stuff Limitations of Turquoise Turquoise is so sophisticated that it tends to not have any big limitations as the lower stages have Too mystical and too spiritual to the point of dropping all concerns for earthly problems Turquoise people tend to live in a bubble. In their own reality Developing a Guru Cult like complex For Turquoise life can become sort of meaningless Turquoise can deny the importance of the political issues Turquoise can assume that other people are just as capable of awakening as they are Turquoise can develop a mega tribe and in worst case scenarios it can clash with another Turquoise mega tribe Turquoise can be stuck on shallow states of enlightenment and non-dual experiences Warning There tends to be an over idealization of Turquoise. A big mistake would be to think of Turquoise as this perfect, Jesus like human being. Turquoise can make mistakes and behave wrongly just like anyone else. Turquoise doesn't mean that someone is a literal saint. Turquoise doesn't make you moral or good Turquoise doesn't make you special. Don't make the mistake of thinking that once you reach Turquoise your life will be perfect Turquoise doesn't make you enlightened Turquoise will not make you immune to false beliefs or to lower perspectives or cultural biases Turquoise doesn't make you immune to dangerous social ideas. Turquoise people are also capable of holding dangerous/unconscious political opinions What works well in Turquoise's head doesn't mean it will also work well in reality Turquoise is not immune of hurting others Turquoise is not immune of sexual cravings Turquoise is not immune to addictions But generally Turquoise will have transcended a lot of these unwanted addictions and behaviours otherwise he would have had it very difficult for him to reach Turquoise How to transcend Turquoise? You don't have to transcend Turquoise. You reached the summit of the spiral! Your focus should be on how to embody Turquoise as deeply as possible! Once at Turquoise you should really focus on exploring non-duality to its fullest How to embody Turquoise? Make sure you have a hardcore, industrial-grade spiritual practice going whether that's meditation, yoga, self-inquiry, contemplation or whatever else Contemplate everything! Don't just contemplate things like What am I? or Who I am? Or what reality is? Contemplate the little things like what is language ? What are relationships ? What is sexuality? What is politics? What is government ? Contemplate all the things! Embody unconditional love Long solo retreats Spiritual purification work of various kinds Shadow work Do psychedelics especially 5 MEO DMT Join or start some kind of spiritual community Read Turquoise books Meet Turquoise sages face to face Study many religions. Make sure your mystical practices aren't coming from just one school or tradition Study cutting edge science Study non-dual theory deeply Open your chakras Transmute your sexual energy Learn alternative healing techniques To really master Turquoise make sure you go back and master all the lower stages. Go all the way back to Purple and ask yourself, what am I missing from Purple or from Red or from Blue or from Orange or from Green or Yellow, what aspect of Blue am I missing or that I haven't fully embodied? Master all the lower stages. There is a lot of depth at every stage Keep watching Actualized.org
  15. I also feel that reincarnation can still exist as a system within the completeness of God. It doesn’t make full sense to me that one can go from being a human to a bird but that’s just my 2 sense. Martin says “the only one who reincarnates is God”
  16. His take on reincarnation and Buddhism is interesting. He says that God is all existing beings, therefore, there cannot be a linear path from one to another. When one disappears, infinite other beings exist. You don't jump from one life to another because you already are all lives, and karma, that which passes from one life to another, has no meaning. But there is another way to see it, in my opinion. You are an infinite line of reincarnations parallel to other infinite lines of evolutionary cycles of birth and death. If you go deep enough into yourself, you understand the evolution of form and the process that is occurring. The fact that everything is the same nature does not contradict the fact that each life is individual and total, and each cyclical process is one and unlimited, but it's difficult to say. Seems that Nobody has gone deep enough to understand how the singular form appears, I think that much more is possible
  17. Interesting, and congratulations for your work, but in my opinion he's wrong. Just my opinion : When he talks about others, he speaks of partitions in consciousness, since otherwise it would be confusing, etc. There are no partitions, there are infinite reflections. Others are simply others, since they are reality in another dimension. The nature of form is this way because reality has no limits, therefore it reflects itself to infinite power. This entails another error in his idiosyncrasy: I am God. You are not God; you are absolute reality, but as form, you are a relative reflection, and your power to change this is zero. If you consider someone with zero power to be God, well, you are God. Besides, he doesn't believe in reincarnation. Well, what does he think the existence of form is? A cycle of existence that begins and ends, since real progress in the absolute is not possible, everything finish in the start, so the only possibility is cycles ad infinitum. Cycles within cycles infinitely, interconnected to infinity, infinite parallel dimensions infinitely interconected. That is God, but he is not an entity; he is total reality. It has no intention or purpose nor can it avoid its nature, it is a natural phenomenon. Then, if you have a limited vision of infinity, you are limited, it's a basic mistake that avoid the real understanding and real mysticism.
  18. Re-watching @Leo Gura's spiral Dynamics stage Green video, I've manually taken notes on my OneNote Commonplace book about everything Leo explained about stage Green in his video. Thus making a thorough and compressive summary for everyone interested in spiral dynamics stage orange. No AI was used whatsoever. Hope it helps! Enjoy! What is the essence of Green? Green in it's essence is relativistic, caring, communal and environmental. This time the pendulum has swung from the individualistic world view of orange to the collectivist world view of green. With each stage the pendulum swings between serving the individual and serving the collective Green as opposed to Blue doesn't sacrifice the self for some afterlife ideal of heaven but for building a healthy and harmonious community here on earth for all to enjoy and to be a part of. Green recognizes the validity of other cultures and species which blue had some real problems with accepting. Green is very multicultural and cosmopolitan Green is on a quest for equality and peace for all beings that inhabit the earth. Green cares as much for trees and plants as it does for animals and for humans! World peace! Justice for everybody! Green is reacting to the injustices of Red, Blue and Orange! Green is a rejection of shallow materialism which came with Orange, and Green returns to humanity and to spirituality, aspects that Orange also neglected. Green represents a shift away from just the cold logical rationalist scientific paradigm into a more new agey hippie sort of semi spiritual but not religious paradigm Green is all about love for others be it humans or nonhuman beings You can encapsulate Green using just the words peace and love. When does Green emerge? Because Orange takes greed and capitalism to it's extreme, it turns out that this can cause serious damage for a big part of society and it puts a strain on the environment. Also Green observes that all of the world's problems cannot be resolved by more factories, or by more business or by more wall street investing. So Green emerges when material and success fails to feed the human spirit. Green emerges once Orange realizes that once he obtained his trophy wife, his sports car, his big mansion, and his millions of dollars.. Orange is still unhappy and although Orange got everything he ever dreamed of, Orange still feels like he is missing something which cannot be obtained via more materialism. When Orange feels a sense of longing for spirituality, for deep relationships, for reconnecting with nature… That's the moment Orange evolves into Green. Green realizes that instead of mercilessly competing with others, it would be more beneficial for everybody to cooperate and live in harmony. For green success represents when the whole community is successful. Green's personal success isn't making him be happy as long as other people suffer. Green's sense of community has expanded a lot compared to the sense of community of Blue. While Blue only acknowledged as part of his community only his country and race of people, to Green the community means every single living being that lives on planet Earth. Moreover, Green acknowledges as part of his community even nonhuman species like animals and plants and trees. Orange evolves to Green when Orange sees all the inequality and oppression happening in the world. Those are the consequences of the unhealthy manifestations of Red, Blue and Orange Once Orange starts evolving into Green it sees the environmental impact that Orange has been having. Because to Orange didn't matter how much pollution it caused to the environment as long as it acquired massive profits. One of the hallmarks of Green is a strong sense of ecology Sometimes a severe health crisis or severe burnout from overworking can lead Orange to evolve into Green Green is a shift from the heavy left brain thinking of Orange into an artistic, emotional, passionate right brain thinking of Green. Green is an opening of the heart, a sense of blossoming of empathy, emotionality, femininity, vulnerability and love. Green is the mellowing out of Orange. Green is the softening of Orange. Green is the stage where the individual learns to relax and enjoy his life. The values that define Stage Green Love Heart Soul Empathy Intimacy Kindness Compassion Mercy Leniency Humanism Liberalism Social progress Progressivism Equality Gender equality Racial equality Economic equality Social equality (Green fundamentally believes that everyone is equal) Egalitarianism Democracy Anti-Materialist Anti-Consumerist Anti-Greed Having a social conscience Supporting humanitarian causes Activism and protests Live and let live attitude to life Chilled and laid back Diversity and multiculturalism Cosmopolitanism Flattening the hierarchies Cultural relativism( Appreciates every culture and doesn't believe that it's own culture is superior than any other one, the way Blue did it ) Relationships and human bonding Pacifism Peace Finding common ground amongst people Harmony (Living in harmony with your environment and also harmony between people) Human well being Interpersonal skills Warm interactions, hugs (When you see Green people hugging and it makes you feel uneasy it means you are in stage Orange) Pleasing everybody in the group, not trying to exclude anybody Sensitivity Femininity Dialoguing Team work Sharing ideas and feelings The usage of psychedelics for the altering of the mind Exploring altered states of consciousness Can be spiritual but not religious like how blue was Especially valuing a communal sort of spirituality where Green practices that spirituality within a group Environment and ecology Going back to nature Learning lessons from mother Nature The wisdom of nature Sustainability Recycling Protecting the vulnerable and helping the downtrodden Redistribution of resources and levelling the playing field for everybody. Inclusiveness ( So that everybody in the group gets a chance to express himself and his agenda) Tolerance and acceptance Open-mindedness Deep love and intimate sex( Sex is much more deeper for green than for orange) Sex education (not ashamed like blue was, Green is comfortable talking about sex) Cooperation rather than competition Cares for animals, children, the disabled and the minorities Creativity, beauty and art for art's sake not for profit Values Gurus, A lot of Guru worship at Green Bringing people of the world together Socialism Green values crying and the expression of vulnerable emotions Intuition over logic Health, food and exercise Characteristics of Green Green values the power of the community which is integral of all individuals as opposed to Orange who was all about he the individual Green sacrifices the self for this social network community Feelings and caring overpower cold rationality Green is about joining a community and to experience shared growth together Green reaches decision through reconciliation and consensus Green is all about getting together and voting for some green ideal Green is about dialogue and mutual understanding Green measures success in terms of personal happiness and the collective wellbeing of the group Green is characterized by seeking personal growth and introspections and there is a bigger emphasis on personal development that even at Orange Stage Green is into new age stuff. Like souls, reincarnation, nonduality, mysticism, chakras, karma, veganism, Gaia mother earth as a living being Green is characterized by connecting with nature Green is characterized by developing compassion Green seeks to communicate not just content but also feelings Green likes entrepreneurship but now tempered with more heart and humanity and compassion for it's employees Green is characterized by nurturing employees Green can sometimes be emotionally needy Green tends to reject displays of affluence( Green doesn't care if it wears a Rolex or a gold Cuban, to Green matters the quality of the person that he is inside, to green the greatest jewel is his inner development level, and his mind and character. Green is characterized by being individualistic but in a conformist way Examples of Green The burning man community The Hippies The New Age movement and all the New Age stuff The Green party Green Peace Vegans and vegetarians Liberals Progressives Democrats Bernie Sanders President Barack Obama (Sidenote: Blue reacts very hatefully against Green because Blue is rigid and conformist while Green is free and lives life in a very liberal way. The golden rule: Treat others the way you would want to be treated! What triggers Green? Injustice and inequality Oppression of minorities The status quo and hierarchies of power When religion is used to justify oppression Human rights abuses Racism Bigotry Fascism Neo-Nazis The K K K Unchecked capitalism Consumerism Corporate Greed Wall Street CEO's getting golden parachutes while their companies go out of business Exploitation especially around the world in many 3rd world countries Environmental destruction Pollution Triggered by lack of empathy and cold heartedness Animal cruelty Deforestation Raping the earth for its resources War Genocide Rape Torture Abuse Domestic violence Verbal violence School shootings Mass shooting Poverty Fascism Authoritarianism The exclusion of people from a group Libertarians By the fact that Donald Trump is still alive!!!!! Conservative supreme Court In general green is triggered by the backwardness of society (If you are a progressive, keep in mind that the greater the progress you envision for your society, the greater the ego backlash will be from the conservative citizens of your society. And a huge ego backlash could set that society more toward conservativism thus undoing the progressive measures taken in the first place) You must evolve at a slower pace. Too drastic of a change might cause the unwanted regressing effect! Unhealthy manifestations of Green Too easily offended and too sensitive (It would help green to develop a thicker skin!) Too much idealistic and not enough practical (No amount of talk can lead to achieving the change that Green's ideal is advocating. Green needs to develop a more grounded approach to how it plans to help society evolve) (Green can start a revolution but because it was never grounded in reality it usually fades away quickly and the status quo prevails) Group think and mob mentality Green can be ideological Green tends to demonize materialism (Usually Green rejected Orange without fully integrating it first, which leads to a disfunctional way of thinking that business is bad. NO! People need businesses to survive and to make sure all their needs are met and if Green with it's idealistic view of the world interferes too much into the business world, this could lead to massive unemployment and a domino effect which would worsen the survival of that society) Green doesn't fully appreciate the necessity of the lower stages (Green must understand that he needs to meet people at where they are at, not at the level Green would like the people to be) Green may fail to realize the complexity of the economy Green can be too relativistic which can lead to a false equivalency effect Green can sometimes be naively pacifistic Sometimes Green wants to flatten hierarchies too much Green is sometimes not action oriented enough. Not pragmatic enough! That's what happens when Green hasn't properly integrated Orange! Green can have extremist elements Green can be too emotional and far too sensitive! Caring too much may lead to burnout Green can be overzealous about social causes Green can fall prey to guilt. Guilt for driving a gasoline powered car, or guilt for eating meat. For not recycling enough. Etc Green can be a little too reactionary In it's excesses Green can stifle independence and can stifle entrepreneurial spirit Sometimes Green can love to talk about spirituality but can fail to embody it. Green often talks the talk but fails to do the walk. Green can be too entitled Green can deny differences too much! Green can be too rigid or too stuck within it's own perspective. Green is characterized by being too naïve and too altruistic Green can be too trusting of Stage Red. Green can romanticize Stage Purple too much Green's empathy can be exploited and manipulated Green can fall into the doormat syndrome where you let everyone abuse you. Green can be bad with finances Green can over regulate and over tax Green can eliminate boundaries too much Green can lie, because it doesn't want to hurt the feelings of other people Green can fall into the lesser jihad! All the lofty ideals that green has, can become a distraction from the inner work that Green needs to do on himself first. Statistics about Green! About 10% of the entire global population is Green! Up to 30% of the population in Western Europe and in North America is Green! About 15% of the total cultural and world influence is Green! The style of government under Green is a social network, it's human centred, has a flat hierarchy, decentralized, it's socialist/capitalist hybrid. It's liberal, globalist, it seeks to create a global community and it's a melting pot of different cultures and different ideas with tolerance for all the different elements of the pot! How to transcend Green? Read in-depth about Green! Read in-depth about Yellow. Start to notice the differences between Green and Yellow! It is really important for Green to stop judging Red, Blue, Orange and Yellow. Stop demonizing corporations, stop demonizing money, stop demonizing capitalism, stop demonizing conservatives and religion Stop caring about social issues so much. Acknowledge that business is necessary Acknowledge that Green is not the highest stage. Acknowledge the problem with Green mob mentality Start thinking more for yourself Start seeing the world from the lower stages points of view Acknowledge that most of the world wasn't as lucky as you. Most people aren't as educated as you. Most people were not born in first world countries, most people didn't go to any kind of university. Acknowledge that bigots and racists and criminals are acting out of ignorance. Not because they are evil or some other label. Start studying systems thinking Acknowledge that Green's political actions is often ineffective (There is a lot of protesting, yelling and screaming but fundamentally nothing really changes) Acknowledge Green hypocrisy Stop acting self-righteous and superior Be less idealistic and be more grounded in reality Start practicing some serious solo meditation Start practicing self-inquiry Start reading Yellow and Turquoise books Study Spiral Dynamics Start studying nonduality Start deconstructing meaning, value and purpose Make sure you fully integrate Orange and not just react against it or deny it. Make sure you fully integrate Blue and Red. If you are Green and you are struggling with finances, start a business. And try to deal with all the challenges that come with running a successful business If you really want to be truly green you should first become financially independent, go create your own job, your own business, which is actually serving the community in a healthy, environmentally friendly way! Start practicing more neutrality. Notice that sometimes protesting is not enough Become a spiral wizard The master key for transcending any stage is contemplation and self-reflection. (Analyse what aspects or elements from Red, Blue or Orange you haven't fully integrated, what aspects from Green you need to act out harder in order to be more loving or to be at peace so that you can move to Yellow!) Look to master each stage. If you are at Orange or at Blue right now, look for all the ways to master the teachings of Orange or Blue. Don't try to skip or speed run through a stage.
  19. Re-watching @Leo Gura's spiral Dynamics stage Orange video, I've manually taken notes on my OneNote Commonplace book about everything Leo explained about stage Orange in his video. Thus making a thorough and compressive summary for everyone interested in spiral dynamics stage orange. No AI was used whatsoever. Hope it helps! Enjoy! What is the essence of Orange? It's individual achievement. Improving the self. All the actions you undertake are only for your own personal gain. This is a shift from the blue worldview which was about sacrificing yourself for the good of civilization. Orange is not concerned with the afterlife. All it matters is that it lives the good life here on earth. With Orange comes the rise of: Business Consumerism Secularism The separation of church and state. Popular culture Scientism (Like science turned into the new religion) Success oriented self-help. The rise of secular democracies. As opposed to blue which had a more theocratic form of government. Stage Orange values Achievement, Success and excellence Climbing to the top of the hierarchy Obsessed at being number one. Striving to be the best, a winner. Improving one's position in life Efficiency, progress, productivity and optimization Manipulating the system and win maxing. Orange can be extremely manipulative. Orange has no problem exploiting a person or a situation Orange values action, results and pragmatism (Orange doesn't care about the afterlife, about spirituality, about metaphysics! Orange cares about tangible goods and material profit). Orange values never ending growth. Orange values capitalism and libertarianism Competitive marketplaces, deregulation, denationalization Orange values hard work, business and entrepreneurship Orange values competition and winner takes all situations Orange prides himself as being a strong competitor Orange values self-improvement The rise of the self-help industry which before was substituted with religion at the stage Blue level of development There is also green and even yellow self-help but the orange way of doing self-help is along the lines of how to manipulate the marketplace better so you get the best position in life. Orange values skills, knowledge and education Orange values confidence, optimism and charisma Entertainment and showmanship Personal freedom, self-reliance and independence (To orange being dependent for income from the welfare state is just a crutch) Free speech Money, sex and luxury Net worth (To Orange the more net worth it accumulates the more successful it is) Orange values looks, beauty, sexiness and coolness Consumerism (buying the newest Iphone, the newest Gucci bag, the newest shoes) Orange loves brands (BMW, Gucci, Iphone) Loves pop culture, celebrities and social media All the orange culture basically represents the worshipping of celebrities because to orange celebrities symbolize the pinnacle of success. Orange values quarterly profits, mass markets and sales. It is all about how to market a product to as large as a marketplace, to as many people, to make as much profit as possible. Orange is all about mass production and industry Orange values rationality, logic, secularism, science and humanism (This is huge for Orange because it takes it away from the Blue worldview which encompassed religion, traditions and authority. Thus Orange becoming rebellious and swinging the pendulum in the completely opposite direction) Orange is a full on skeptic. Values skepticism but fails to be skeptical of it's own skepticism and of course orange is not skeptical of orange itself or to science. Orange hates metaphysics and thinks that it doesn't need them. When in fact Orange's metaphysics represent atheism, reductionism and utilitarianism. Orange doesn't recognize the limits of rationality or science. Orange values technology, analysis and facts Orange values data, analytics, charts and it wants to measure and quantify everything. Orange values fact based education as opposed to blue who valued religious indoctrination. Orange values scientific methods and IQ. Orange values strategic thinking and risk analysis, innovation and creative thinking and results. Maintaining a competitive edge Competence over rank or bloodlines Orange will stab you in the back with no remorse if it can sense that it can get a favourable outcome which would be a win for himself. When does orange emerge? Orange emerges when Blue starts to recognize the limitations of itself. It is when blue realizes that this absolute truth that he was holding on to, maybe it is not as certain as it initially believed and maybe the world isn't as black and white as it initially thought it was. Maybe the divisions between good and evil are not so clear. Maybe it's religion isn't as intelligent and good as it initially thought. Maybe the bible didn't contain only good information. Maybe the people that wrote the bible didn't understand some aspects about reality. There happens a shift in blue's mind to where it starts to think more independently and starts to do away with the old conformist and authority driven way of thinking. Characteristics of Orange A drive for personal results and success and status. Autonomy and independence Tries to do away with blue's bureaucratic system Seeks the good life and material pleasures Orange is characterized by manipulating the earth's resources mercilessly. For Orange society evolves from strategy, technology and competition. Orange thrives on outdoing other orange individuals There is an aversion within orange against religion, spirituality and mysticism. To orange religion is just silly superstition To Orange there is nothing we cannot demystify about reality as long as we do more and more science. To orange reality is impersonal and it doesn't care about you, and the only reason a rock from space hasn't hit your head is just by pure luck. Orange believes that if you cannot quantify a thing therefore it doesn't exist Orange likes to point out the hypocrisy of religious blue people Orange is characterized by strong logical thinking and critical observation( Orange is quick to poke holes within religious theories or books) Orange values certificates and diplomas like PhD's and experts. Orange is focused on direct experience rather than dogma or speculation Orange believes that the world is his playground and he is very optimistic and eager to go out and make something out of himself. Orange believes that the losers in life totally deserve what they got. Because those losers were lazy. Orange has an aversion to fuzzy thinking, emotions and to love. Orange is highly logical and rational. Left Brained. All head over heart. Orange hates femininity and is all macho and tough alpha male like. To orange success is mechanical like factories, assembly lines etc. Orange is obsessed with making profits. Regardless of the means. Orange is extremely self-centred. He doesn't care about his employees or his community or the environment. All it cares is himself and his wife and children. Orange is characterized by the mantra Image over substance. If we can fake being rich then we are rich!! Orange is obsessed by physical appearance. Women are viewed as sex objects, are objectified. Orange doesn't have the capacity to exhibit love or compassion to a woman. Orange doesn't like looking weak or exposing his emotions. Orange can be blind to the suffering of other people. Can be blind by the suffering it causes to other people. Orange likes partying and living life to the full extent. Orange tries to monetize everything Orange has a more vulgar vocabulary and often speaks unfiltered and loosely. With orange comes comedy, poking fun at the status quo Orange uses intelligence rather than force. So instead of directly attacking you he will try to buy you to do whatever he wants. Orange takes calculated risks. Seeks loopholes to see how he can manipulate the rules for his own good. With orange it comes the rise of the middle class which tends to not exist in blue or red A rise with knowledge workers rather than manual laborers. With orange the churches of blue get replaced with corporate boardrooms With orange the traditions and heritages of blue become irrelevant. Who cares about them when I can forge a path just for myself. The government style of Orange is technocratic, capitalist, oligarchic and corporatist Unhealthy manifestations of stage Orange Environmental destruction Pollution Deforestation Global Warming Overfishing Endangering various kinds of species Depletion of resources like water aquifers The indoctrination within secularism and scientism and materialism Capitalism turned into a religious ideology The misuse of evidence and scientific studies Orange is ignorant to spirituality, god, consciousness, emotions, femininity, intuition, love and magic Orange is intellectually arrogant ( Because orange looks at how primitive blue is and because Orange is championing logic and science and skepticism, it thinks that it is better than blue) Stage Orange lacks the metaphysical and epistemic ability to self-reflect in an unbiased way Orange mistakes stage blue religion with higher post rational levels of mysticism Stage Orange cannot understand the true origins of religion and why religion is so persistent. Orange can't understand that religion comes from mysticism and from non-duality Orange cannot have a deep spiritual connection to reality Stage Orange cannot crack the problem of consciousness Orange cannot overcome the duality of mind and body Orange cannot understand post rationalism Orange can become narcissistic and self-absorbed, can lack compassion for others Stage orange first world countries exploit 3rd world countries for cheap labour. Orange can be oppressive in a corporate manner. Like when a boss overworks his employees or when companies use manipulation and schemes to false advertise a product or when they companies over-inflate their prices just for profit, or when those companies don't pay fairly their employees. Gross levels of income inequality Inhumane working conditions Orange blames the people who work in slave like conditions for being lazy and for being religious and that's why they have the job that they have because they weren't smart enough to have a better job. And the job they currently have is the one that they truly deserve. Orange is very legalistic, will use lawsuits frivolously as a weapon against it's enemies. Orange engages often in disaster capitalism which entails massive deregulations and a unchecked free marked which in turn creates a huge income inequality. Orange is prone to instable economies. Example the economic collapse in 2008. Orange can lead towards war for other nation's resources. Also the military industrial complex benefits from wars because it creates huge profits for the owners of the factories that produce weapons. Orange can lead to the corruption of government and to corporate lobbying. Orange can lead to arms races and in it's most horrific form it can lead to world wide nuclear Armageddon The greatest danger to the world is stage orange itself, because only orange could trigger a nuclear holocaust, not the religious people of stage blue Orange can architect factories than abuse the hell out of animals and subduing the animals to horrific cruelty Stage orange leads to monopolies which prevent small businesses from flourishing Stage orange leads to shallow consumerist culture Orange leads to all sorts of nasty addictions like porn, sex, drug, videogames and food addictions. The treating of women as sexual objects. Leads to those cringe alpha male posturing. Stage orange leads to depression and lots of suicides Orange leads to stuff like ulcers, ADHD, heart attack, insomnia, chronic fatigue disease and a bunch of difficult to diagnosticate auto immune disorders. In it's excesses orange leads to unbridled ambition and competitive stress Orange leads to workaholism and burnout Orange leads to a sense of isolation and loneliness Excessive orange leads to a stifling of creativity, art and beauty Orange leads to a cold technocracy where human beings become like cogs in a machine Orange leads to a loss of connection with nature Orange leads to a dysfunctional health care system Common mantras of Orange! Greed is good! Just do it! The sky is the limit! Win at all cost! Survival of the fittest! Nothing ventured nothing gained Can't take care of yourself? Grow up! Stop being lazy! I made a killing in the market today! Trickle-down economics! Each is responsible for him or herself You never get a second chance to make a first impression There is more than one way to skin a cat We can kill two birds with one stone Every man for himself Pull yourself up by your bootstraps! Fake it till you make it Work hard play hard To orange reality is impersonal and it doesn't care about you, and the only reason a rock from space hasn't hit your head is just by pure luck. What triggers orange? Orange is triggered by: Blue, Green and Turquoise God, religion, creationism, myth and superstition The new age. Like spirituality, mysticism and woo-woo pseudo-science. Hippies Alternative medicine triggers orange, like chakras, or healing an illness using your mind Reincarnation, UFO's ,intelligent design, flat earth, auras, past lives, paranormal stuff, cult leaders Astrology Feminism Irrationality Intuition Philosophy and metaphysics Constrains on business and entrepreneurship Following the rules, by red tape, and by bureaucracy Big government intervention, and government regulation and the welfare state Losers, bums and freeloaders(Orange tends to be blind of it's own privilege) Socialism, communism and communal thinking. Orange doesn't like being part of a community The thought that the universe may have human qualities like love. Identity politics and political correctness People who take too long to get to the point People who have a lack of ambition to rise above average Lack of focus on results and in action taking. Too much talking, too much planning. Orange likes to get to the point. Archaic, overly religious societies like the middle east. Hillbillies and rednecks. How to transcend Orange? Read in-depth about the limits of Orange. (The limits of capitalism, the damage that's been done to the environment etc) Read in-depth about Green (It is progressivism, caring about other beings, empathy, femininity) Stop judging stage Green Also ask yourself this: What is the price of my success? Who has to suffer so that I can bask in beauty and luxury and goods. Notice that success doesn't equate to happiness. Notice that more technology doesn't make you happy either. Acknowledge community and that you are part of a community. Mankind is a tightly knit community. Start to study spirituality Stop conflating religion with spirituality Start to see that there is more to life than pragmatism and that pragmatism doesn't make you happy at all. Notice the limits of science and technology Notice that Orange societies are unsustainable Acknowledge the damage that business does Acknowledge the gross inequality in the world Acknowledge environmental destruction Acknowledge animal cruelty in factory farming Acknowledge that socialism isn't bad Make a distinction between communism and socialism from the soviet era and all the evils that came from that and recognize that wasn't green it was actually blue. Find a heart centred life purpose Stop working so much. You work too much. Enjoy life too! Start deepening your relationships Stop treating women just as sexual objects Start to actually care about the people you are relating to. Stop buying shit that you don't need. Start taking psychadelics Reconnect with nature. Enjoy life in more rural settings! Go to music festivals Try alternative medicine Start recycling Start treating your employees like humans and not robots Acknowledge the limits of of analysis, logic and quantification Become a more holistic thinker rather than a narrow minded technical analyst. Surrender control and the desire to manipulate the system and to exploit the game. Embrace your emotions and your feminine side more Embrace your intuition Start to become more compassionate, more empathic, and more loving Cut out videogames, television and social media And lastly the master key to transcending any stage is contemplation and self-reflection, analyse your behaviour!
  20. @Someone here Thank you for your kind words and offering your perspectives. I see that life and death are interconnected and I notice especially for humans because of how conscious and self aware we are that it makes it all that much more intense. I’m curious to hear about your philosophical, epistemological, and spiritual views on death. Do you believe in reincarnation in some form, or do you think that our unique expression of the universe continues in some way, or is it simply an illusion that fades with death?
  21. God realization and non dual awakenings feel to be like some sort of great equilizer for me, like you can disregard any experience by saying it's all God, which is valid in some way, but not necessarily the most helpful position to take Here's where I'm coming at this from, it's basically the fact that the more awakening/ mystical states I reach, the more complexity I seem to unravel, YES it is all God, but God likes to play with itself within forms, "stories" and frameworks and those are as valid ways for it to recognize itself as melting directly into the sun of its being, the forms and stories I'm reffering to could potentially include anything; The discovery of a "personal soul" that undergoes a reincarnation journey accross space and time (and yes it could be seen as illusory as the personal ego but in my experience it's still there), Paranormal activities (clairvoyance, clair audience, controlling matter and energy through the quantum field) Disincarnated entities, spirit guides, angels, aliens and alien intelligences Synchronities that simply break reality and that could fall on the verge of schizophrenia A soul's purpose being something other than realization, a "personal" soul could incarnate for the sake of learning anything whether it's courage, faith, proactivity, trust, love, selflesness..., and yes all these are stepping stones towards god realization but necessary non the less Direct DNA activations and rewriting, nervous system rewirings, the discovery of Akashic records Personal karma that transcends this one lifetime, soul contracts, souls reincarnating in groups to help each other fulfill their life missions 5D consciousness and beyond, vibrational levels ... And the list goes on and on, I know a lot of people may just consider a lot of these things to be just new age dogma(s), and tbh many are, and I don't advice anyone to believe in anything that hasn't been personally verified, I started out this journey being a radical non dualist, to the point where I didn't believe in anything outside of God as a singular infinity, there was no nuances, separations or experiences from my view, if you asked about a personal soul or reincarnation, I would just explain it away with God But I'm feeling that although that was not false in itself, radical non duality is still valid, I'm realizing with time that there many layers to truth/reality that could all be valid at once My question to finish this is, is there anyone in here with experiences along the lines of what I've described ? and why does no one seem to talk about these things ? I know a lot of bullshit has been superimposed on a lot of these things which made everything dilluted and took out a lot of validity to these things, but still there is a kernel of truth in what I'm gonna refer to as "dualistic awakening", there is value in this, but that's just my perspective I would love to know anyone's position on this matter
  22. What do you think of Schopenhauer's quotes about Hegel? There's also Schopenhauer's argument for reincarnation:
  23. @TruthFreedom i like most of them, yet to come to terms with rats and cockroaches, today is defenetly a pigeons, lizards and elk day Seahorses are fun, too bad they can't be mounted yet, imagine what a ride it would be Also; saw you post about seeing the light and just wanted to say that I find everything you said to be completely valid, experience is infinite, so the experiencer (not the ego) but soul for lack of a better term is bound to be somewhere else once this trip is over, I personally have had insights into heavenly realms, reincarnation (both past and future lives) but just remember to do your best to make this existence into heaven, cause chances are this is what we are here for, the other heavens can wait And if it has been revealed to you that you are special, then you are, just don't cling too much to that realization cause you may get a glimpse into the opposite side of the coin on a future trip, that neither you nor anyone is special, and both realizations can be valid at the same time
  24. Rant: I have to congratulate you on actually engaging with your own question, many on the forum make a post but don't bother to actually engage with the answers. Rant over. I suppose you could look at it from the other end. What does being gullible involve? Such a person would take anything they're told to be true. They will go about their day acting as if X fact is suddenly now true. Maybe they believe they're God, or that they'll reincarnate when they die, or that the world will end in 2027, or that eating peppers is bad for the gut, or that you can survive on air alone and so on. Maybe all of those things at once. Applying your heuristic, then you could fairly say that the aforementioned are all wrong, and you'll then need to wait patiently for proof of each of them to come along (or look for proof proactively). Some things you may never know until it actually happens, for example the end of the world, effectively making the belief unfalsifiable - you can neither say it's right nor wrong, and you can't take a position at all (logically). If you do proactively look for proof, then you're admitting a more neutral position: why waste your effort if it couldn't possibly be true? I think it's this that you're arguing not wasting time on. My point then was that discernment works better than proof. If a belief is unfalsifiable, then you just move on, and cut the potential BS at the root. If you do have a modicum of belief then your discernment should kick in first. For example, is reincarnation real? Well, you have to look at the numbers of reports of it compared to the number of people in the world (or who have ever lived), hmm it's probably BS, since that ratio is near zero. Another example, do mobile phones give you brain cancer? That's less clear, but you can still be discerning, i.e. radio waves don't travel well in water, and your brain is mostly water, it's probably BS then. In short most of us have some ability to discern things and judge whether something is true or not. Gullible people just choose not to be so discerning, they want to be believe, because it's exciting or through wish fulfilment or it makes some sort of sense, or they just "know" it's right. They are actively guillible (if not consciously so).
