  1. Explicitly stating I have absolutely zero knowledge about any type of poisoning or metals.

However, if it was me, I would trust my body to take care of the small amount of foreign object that has entered the system. In this instance I will trust it will eradicate it in due course. Although I could be completely wrong but I am not the type of person to googling shit to scare myself, unless say I accidently drank shit loads of citric acid as I did 3 weeks ago ? even then the body sorted it out.

  2. The publishers and the glorified studies that are spread really do poke at a nerve of mine ? They can heavily influence people's lives simply by agreeing with the conclusion and believing in it, ultimately turning it even into dogma. Unfortunately some people are so underdeveloped they don't even contemplate actually trying it out for themselves. They just believe it and then spread misinformation. Not saying you are, please let me make that clear. Please don't ever forget to go out there with an open mind, as free of bias as possible (impossible to a degree) and try the experiment out for yourself.

  3. @SageModeAustin in terms of support ask her how she wants to be supported from you. I suffer with an eating disorder and my partner read into it himself so see what be could do to support (not save). He avoids certain topics respectfully, and when I seem 'moody' I feel comfortable enough to simply say 'eating disorder' which gives him the insight into why I am acting a particular way, he usually follows this with an invitation for a hug. I am happy and content with this support.

Good luck yourself and partner along your journey ?

  4. @Forestluv I assume 3 days would be very minimal, however, from my current understanding, the brain perceives muscle as a high cost resource, keeping excess muscle consumes too much energy, so it eats away at that faster than fat to preserve precious energy.

I was eating one meal a day, water fasting the rest. I was uneducated in macronutrients, if I had my time again, my protein intake within the eating window would of been quadruple times the amount I was consuming.

  5. This seems like such am easy question but it's so much more complex that initially meets the eye.

If you haven't already, evaluate your relationship, beliefs, value in relation to your health, and the energy source you are using to fuel it (food). W

With years of dieting and cutting this and that out I finally found a way (for me) to lose weight, but most importantly, to lose weight healthily and well. You wanna lose weight but lose it smartly, and most importantly with a unified holistic approach.

It isn't about shifting the weight asap but slow, adaptable  lifestyle (and belief level) changes, changing your body composition and also changing what your gut bacteria is asking for!

Shifting weight too fast will inevitably lead to putting it back on and so begins the life of the unhappy unhealthy yo-yo dieter.

I disagree with Leo about cutting carbs entirely, I think there are certain unrefined carbs which are very good for you and will aid you in your fitness journey. I think that's a reductionist 'fast track' way to losing weight which unfortunately may lead to weight gain. Furthermore, our brains run on carbs, it's a no brainer (pun intended)  ??‍♀️

Do you have goals in mind? If so wrote them down, bring them to life (try and keep them realistic, achievable (smart goals I am sure you have heard of).

Go to macro nutrient calculator and find out the calorie deficit you need to achieve weight loss.

What's your weight now? As this is very important for the type of exercise you can currently do.

    ???️‍♂️

  6. The period that is Corona virus times has brought me so many profound gifts. One e.g., showing me the places in which I need to heal and grow. As a result of this I begun sessions of EMDR which I can only describe as 'gift' like. The majority of the most profound gifts come disguised as pain and suffering, this is something else I have come to learn.

My question to you is, what has / is Corona virus brought for you? ❤️

  7. @andyurb

Experience and enjoyment are a continuum. Nothing is permanent. Everything is fluid and ever changing. As things fall, others will rise, as things heaten, others will cool.

Recognise it's okay to feel like this, because it is. Accept it with compassion if you can?

See to whatever is in your heart at the moment, is there something troubling you in life currently? Changes?

Everything will fall into place for you, your enjoyment will return. Nothing can or will take your love of music away, but for now, take some time for you and let the experience/feelings flow for you without attachment or judgement. ❤️

  8. This is very helpful. Thank you!

May I add from personal experience? My goal setting (small daily goals) used to be avoided due to an overwhelming / anxious like feeling, until I altered my perspective on them. I recontextualised into something more 'user friendly'.

Instead of viewing them as I were, goals, chores and tasks, I now viewed them as 'What are the things I am choosing to consciously do in this beautiful day that is my life?' 'How do I wish to spend this day?'

    And bam!...

It really changed the game for me. I no longer viewed them as something to 'get through' but they were now something to be enjoyed and embraced. After all, it indeed, was another day in my life, another moment. ?
