So it looks like Teal Swan is finally being exposed.

if they leave you want to kill yourself

How on earth does a spiritual and a self help guru like Teal Swan who teaches self help, healing traumas and detachment from things, still depend heavily on an inner circle and still manipulate and abuse people emotionally. I cannot get it. A guru needs to be fake to do such things but her content is solid tho.

This is so silly.

By definition, when they are alone you never see them.

By your logic Sadhguru never takes a shit because you've never seen him shitting.

@Leo Gura You have talked a lot about our perceptual field being all that exists and there being nothing outside of it. But your above comment seems to suggest people and things do exist when we don't see or perceive them. Can you clarify?

Thank you!

Ralston is definitely an extrovert. And you don’t know that he spent a lot of time alone. Even if he was in a solo retreat, he could still go to restaurants and cafes and socialise there.

It wasn't a solo retreat. He was living in the middle of a jungle in a tent.

Cafes, Lol.

I was speaking relatively.

Aka she stole Leo's website idea. If you cannot be genuine enough to use a unique template for your website then maybe there is something not pure with this teacher.

And even deeper core problem is that others are imaginary, so who are you kidding? ;)

Only thing I disagree with is this.....because we are imaginary too.

But everything else I agree with.

Of course being a loner can be dysfunctional, however so can needing others to make you feel complete, loved, and grounded.

A healthy balance must be struck. And when it comes to spiritual work, the most serious work is best done alone. The problem is that other people will distract you from awakening with their human bullshit.

This is bias and I disagree. The deepest spiritual work is actually done through others because others constantly reveal your imbalance by triggering emotions within you which reveal those biases and judgments.

Its why dealing with people is so tough, because it forces you to get rid of the biases/and judgments.

For example what Sadhguru does all the time is ridiculously impressive. He deals with a ridiculous amount of Spiritual Seekers on a daily basis interacting with so many people from so many different backgrounds and is able to remain cool and collected.

We are all capable of doing this when we balance ourselves. Meditation and solitude is the work, people are the test. The test reveals how balanced or imbalanced you are.

I saw sadhguru live show when he was doing his save the soil tour.  He was surprisingly snappy and impatient when people were asking him questions.  He also changes the subject a lot and beats around the bush when giving answers.

For example, he talked about how damaged the soil is, but when people questioned with ‘what can we do’ he had no answers and just said something like ‘everyone write a letter to your local government’ which of course nobody would do.  So it was just kinda like, ‘the soil is dying but not really anything we can do about it…*end of talk*’

the other thing I found annoying about the show was how it was supposed to be raising awareness about saving the earth but there were 1000s of paper flyers and stickers being handed out and all over the place.  Like why all the paper advertising.

I guess he was tired from all the travelling around, but I got an exhausted vibe from him, like he was seeming annoyed at everyone. Really seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to be there.

I agree with what you’re saying though about other people testing you.

You can’t survive in a jungle by yourself. There were definitely others there.

I’m going to the Amazon in a few months to visit a shaman.  To get to the place, you need to take a boat up the river and then walk 14 miles through the jungle.  It took several years for them to clear a space and make it reasonably safe.  But you still need someone to show you around for the first few days, so you don’t kill yourself.   A city dweller wouldn’t survive in the jungle for one day by himself.

He does broad and general teachings that don't have a niche and are just for basic living. Some enlightened teachers teach the unenlightened how to be enlightened and some enlightened teachers teach the unenlightened how to get along with each other during their unenlightened phase

I hear you and I would love everyone to be in his shoes. If you knew how many people this guy interacts with on a daily basis.....it is frightening. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually gets tired.

On what grounds? What makes him an idiot? And what makes him overrated? Because there is tons of evidence to the contrary but I'm open to hearing how this can be true? I don't agree with everything he says but he does good work and is very wise in my perspective.

shadguru is not a spiritual teacher, he is a kind of politician and influencer. I wouldn't be surprised if in private he was an ambitious tyrant. it seems that he calculates every word, all within a script made by his advisers. I imagine him asking after each session, and his advisors saying: those smiles should be a little more condescending and last a second longer... yes, just like that

Sometimes he talks bullshit and you don't feel that he is a true intellect. He is just the idiot spiritual guy.

@LSD-Rumi when you have a teacher like Leo everyone else is an idiot, it's about recognising that being right isint what it's all about...but that the journey to purity and accuracy is as beautiful at the lower levels as it is at the higher levels. It's like playing a game with a child, it's not about winning...it's about having fun and enjoying the game

Sounds like you all are worshipping him. That let's me know you all aren't doing the work. Literally everything that Leo has posted has been said before if you all did the work. If you point me to a video I will point you to a source that has said it before. There is nothing new under the Sun. Leo is in the same vein of the Teachers that came before him.
