Today is my third time taking modafinil:

Just writing this post to say that I think negative effects of armodafinil I experienced have gone away. 

I woke up at 4:30 am today [ 4 hours ago from this post upload] and took 150 mg of armodafinil at 6:30 am. I felt armodafinil kick in, but its not nearly as overwhelming as the first time I took it. Its a good drug since it doesn't feel overwhelming at all really. Its potent yet during my second and third taking the drug as a full pill, I don't have much side effects like racing thoughts and monkey mind like I did when I first took it. Armodafinil is strong but I think that in most circumstances you won't be getting in negative effects, although everybody is different.

The wakefulness you get can feel somewhat subtle depending on your dosage and how long it's been since you took it and your personal tolerance. Like even 12 hours after I've taken a full dose, I won't notice that I have anything in my system until I come around to doing any task involving attention and I think "damn I feel hyperfocused".

If you take it every day you will become tolerant to the effects of caffeine and have withdrawal effects after you discontinue it.

Combine Caffeine/L-Theanine with Cacao great synergy, can also me combined and or amplified with Maca, Mucuna, Medicinal Mushrooms, Adaptogens, Shilajit, CBD Oil, Yerba mate, Turmeric, Cayenne, Ginger, Cinnamon ect.. and when taking gingko take with with ginseng :) Most of these completely natural substances on their own are amazing Nootropics like CBD oil, Lions Mane, Cacao, Shilajit, Mucuna, Curcumin, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Tulsi ect.. and when making brews, sweeten up with raw honey, its a no brainer.

Spirulina, Chlorella and Marine Phytoplankton are also some game changers in the long run.

Fruit, Sunlight and extra Omegas help too :)

Guys, what are your opinions on :

1) TMAO from Carnitine/ALCAR and Choline to a lesser extent. How do you prevent TMAO build up ? Didn't ALCAR make it in the nootropics list because of the TMAO issue ?

2) Green tea extract safety for the liver. Disregard completely or a very high quality brand might be okay ?

First two days on modafinil. Night and day difference.

amazing grass supplement in my smoothie in the morning with blueberries, mango, a banana, lots of kale, and almond milk

 

planning to add lions mane mushroom soon.

I would highly recommend that people try modafinil/armodafinil before meditating. I took 150mg armodafinil today a few hours before meditating and after meditating my mind now feels extremely still. 

As far as side effects ago of armodafinil, the main side effect I have is a sense of pressure I have in my forehead area. Not so much do an aching sensation, just a slight sensation of tightness in my head. Taking a full pill of armodafinil doesn't feel overwhelming at all to me, although it did the first time so I recommend you start off with a small dosage cuz who knows how you'll react.

You kind of need to take all of it at once. Even if it is really expensive. But once you have a certain count of substances and supplements they all work together and potentiate each other.

For a cheap and slight improvement just add

  • Moda
    • Get them in bulk (100+ pills) from where you would also get your other "helpers"
    • I got mine for a price per pill of about 90 cents 
    • Mostly I only use half a pill a day
    • If I take this every day it still costs me less than 20€ a month
    • Nothing even gives the same bang for the buck
  • Add the precursor of Dopamine
    • Moda is technically a Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor
    • So theoretically you shouldn't deplete your Dopamine
    • But it helps
    • L-DOPA
      • There are not many supplements for this
      • Mucuna Pruriens
        • Kindof expensive and not many sites have it
      • You can also eat chocolate
        • But with a high percentage (80-99%)
        • The others have too much sugar
          • Sugar is shit
            • Don't ever eat it or add it to anything

Hey ya'll,

It's my first day trying modafinil and I must say, It is indeed a very curious substance.

Apart from all the mentioned and known effects, some really weird encounters are happening throughout my day, and I can't avoid to contemplate the possibility of my state of consciousness being influencing the "external events".

I know I'm entering sorcery terrain here. The encounters where somehow profound and taught me so much and I am so intrigued, that I had to post here to see if anyone ever experienced something like that on noots.

The first encounter was with a former employee of the company that I work for. I met him on the way to my favorite restaurant. He told me some significant things about my working environment and people that I work with. 

The second encounter was with a girl that was crying, sitting next  to a bridge edge. I was ready to get a shared bike to ride back to work when I saw her. I stopped to talk and see what was going on (I thought she might have been having suicidal thoughts or something). She seemed happy to talk to someone and I managed to make her calm down, but all the girl could say was pure nonsense... I don't really know if she has been abused or was on drugs. She mentioned that google had found her identity, and she had nazi blood. That she was tired of people judging her and... that she had to go back in time to give something to her father.

In the middle of this interaction, a homeless boy came and asked me if I could lend my bike for him. I gave him some money (he was trying to scare us, I guess, but was just a child) so that I could keep talking to the girl.

I'm omitting lots of details of the interactions to keep the post short, but I have a strong feeling that I am attracting all these situations, so that I can help people and learn stuff at the same time.

Today I have learned that I don't really have to take responsibility for every being that I encounter. I don't regret talking to the girl and calming her down, but I learned that her problem is much bigger than just that moment, and that I can't get too involved, so I could not solve my own psychological issues.

I have learned that your mental state absolutely influences in the "outside world" and that sometimes it is better to "close the channel" than to keep it wide open.

Here's my current stack:

Morning:

  • Armodafinil (1/4 pill) 
  • L-theanine 
  • Ginkgo biloba 
  • Omega 3 fish oil 
  • N-A-C 

Afternoon:

  • Armodafinil (1/4 pill) (only when I need extra performance) 
  • Coffee (only when I need extra performance) 
  • NALT 
  • L-theanine (second one on an empty stomach for focus) 

Evening:

  • N-A-C
  • Melatonine 5-HTP L-Tryptofaan (comes in a single tablet, good for sleep) 

I like this stack so far, looking to expand with Alpha-gpc and lions mane soon.

I just bought some Waklert and Modalert  from a trustworthy site... i hope... heres praying for that i dont get fucked over and caught by authorities or some weird ass 1984 shit... xD

Hmm, never really had this problem though I think armodafinil gives me headache sometimes. It's 200mg L-theanine

I’ve taken the following stack for six weeks and in the last two weeks, i started having a lot of trouble falliny asleep:

Pqq 10mg

CoQ10 100mg

Cdp-choline 300mg

Pine bark 300mg

Fosfatyldliserine 300mg

Bacopa 900mg 25% bacosides

L-theanine 300mg 

And the usual fish oil/vitamins 

 

I layed awake for about 25% of the time i was in bed and could barely sleep at all during two nights per week. When i stopped taking the stack, i slept like a baby again. 

Has anyone experience with this? Please tell me.

@Butters try getting in a choline source while taking (ar)modafinil. The headache might be caused by acetylcholine deficit because the medication makes your brain use 3 times more than usual.

I started off my new year with a tab of MDMA, and it made me go for a resolution: to get out of my depression, so I went all in.

I have already off cigarettes, alchol, social media, started reading, working out, journaling, meditating and taking supplements.

So for now I am testing every one I bought for one week periods and writing down the feelings and effects I get.

So far I am through Lion's mane mushroom, and I can confirm about it's ability to help learn new things (I started learning piano) also a very subtle mood boosting. 

This week is on L-Theanine. Already after the first day I can say that I calmed down, became aware and my mind became quieter. It's almost as if my focus came back from inside my head into reality.
