@Cred You have to put your theory to the test. Borrow a fursuit and throw yourself to the wolves.

You have nothing to fear but fear itself.

My question for Leo is, what do you do when you first wake up in the morning?

Bro, you lazy mother**** - what about the uphill grinds & punchy hill sprints! LOVE THAT SHIT. I will say I share your passion for mountain biking. But I do get scraped up bad sometimes.

RIP goodbye knee cartilage

I’ve never had fun peddling up a hill in my life, I need a huge ski lift taking me to the top lol. It’s still a crazy workout either way. I’m still peddling a lot, just actually going fast and can hit some jumps to make it more exciting

@Joseph Maynor Give the Blowfish template a try: https://github.com/nunocoracao/blowfish. It's fun; needs Hugo, though.

I will, thanks.  I was getting into Materialize for a while but then I started kinda liking CSS due to the control.  I'm not a huge fan of Bootstrap. Tailwind seems like a pain but at least it has more flexibility.  I'm always wondering if it's just better to learn CSS as annoying as it is.  I like Vue, but I don't have a need for it quite yet.

It gets less annoying after a while xD

Once you get enough experience with writing pure css, then it actually becomes fun and challenging to work on difficult layouts.

It's always useful to know the fundamentals when you use some abstraction like Materialize, Tailwind or Boostrap. It will actually make you more effective.

You guys are lucky you don't have to learn CSS for IE5 anymore.

I never liked Bootstrap either. I use Tailwind for every project. TW is easier to manage since v4 because you don't have to deal with the tailwind.config anymore. It's still a pain to set up with build tools like Vite but once you get it set up, just make a boilerplate and then every new project is smooth sailing.

I built a large site with Astro recently. Astro is pretty damn nice.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

I like to go into all kinds of rabbit holes and understand things thoroughly, to get the most intimate with the present moment of my deepest drives and authentic self.

My current main rabbit holes are politics, society, and tech. Once I'm done with them, they'll become side hobbies that I visit less occasionally, but never truly leave.

Previous rabbit holes for me:

  • Religion, Philosophy, and Spirituality.
  • Photography.
  • Academia.
  • Music.
  • Reading books.
  • Journaling.
  • Online identity.
