Key to getting rich

18 posts in this topic

It all boils down to your thoughts because it is really easy to earn money nowadays but people believe in their parents mindset that money is difficult to get. You should believe money loves you and you love money. And in mysterious ways it will find you. The change in belief will change your behavior. So it is not magic but from the outside it feels like that. Don’t be shy to wear expensive clothes and buy expensive shit neither. This has nothing to do with spirituality. Being a poor bastard doesn’t make you more rich. Your life experiences make you rich. In the past year I made 250 k and lost and I’m happy for it. Because the person who doesn’t do shit wouldn’t have those richness in experience.  Now I’m building up my wealth again. And it is not about how hard you can get hit but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

I think location independence is the key. I'm working on making online streams of income that scale over time so I can run multiple businesses from wherever in the world. I think it doesn't matter how much money you make, if you're tied to a single location you're not free.

@LordFall I realized this in my early 20s and put all my savings in international accounts and worked fully remote since.

Location independece helped me grow a lot, I still get payed by the hours I put but being in control of my schedule and where to work in the world is nice.

My current goal is not get passive income but rather increase my hr rate. I think passive income is overvalued, you can have a great life if you charge 70$/hr and live in a cheap country(I live in Argentina)

There are different kind of richness.

Richness is knowledge or material stuff or richness in spirituality.

Some richness have higher degree of order and it downloads onto the lower plains like the material sphere.

To be succesful human we need a good balance of these realms.

There is a difference, making money through your physical body meaning "you have to engage and use your physical body in the world" , and there is a differenence "experiencing  anything you desire or having instant manifestation".

Your example is of the physical body that puts work and effort into achieving something, you're of no help to nobody with this. Basically what you're saying is, work and make money... Facepalm

Being rich has little to do with money and more to do with frequency.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

I can't speak to frequency or vibration - lol - since I've never tried them.

As far as I can tell, the key to getting rich is intelligence, determination, and persistence.

Intelligence is the maneuvering - it solves path and navigation. Determination is the forward thrust - the energy source. Persistence is the course correction - it keeps you on track and with the signal. These operate in a feedback loop.

It's one thing to see a course, it's another to traverse it. Intelligence maps the path but doesn't traverse it. For traversal, you need a stable energetic disposition that sustains movement and corrects drift over time.

Drift is the hardest problem. Tons of people have great ideas and the skills necessary to bring them to fruition, but most cannot course correct. They can't hold on to the signal.

Once the map is visible, it's just one foot in front of the other until you arrive. But the energy required is usually too high of a cost, and this is where we get lost. It's hard to regulate energy long enough to sustain repeated correction.

Basically, after intelligence, the main blocker is a regulation problem. We can map out the exact steps to get rich, we just usually can't walk the path.

If you lost it, it was probably not wealth. True wealth is so massive that you can mess up for a decade or two and you would still have a lot remaining. Ultra high net worth individuals are $30m plus, more depending on what country. I think $500m is wealth because that gives enough access to have a portfolio of many different legacy assets.

To me, wealth is being able to do what you want and buy what you want with money never coming up as a limitation, and never having to do things you don't want in exchange for money.

5 million USD earns about $15k/mo interest from treasury bonds alone. If someone can't relax with 15k/mo, I feel for them.

This is an enlightening lecture about how people are taught getting rich works vs how It actually works

The puzzle is how do we get you to do a better job at bringing in money.  Finances is like health, it's not rocket science, it requires a grounded mentality that takes daily action.  It's complicated to make this change, but it is possible.  It could require a change in a chapter of how you're treating your life.

Hahaha +1 — the Ego will try to corrupt you into thinking you need more, and more, and more...

That said, I think there are benefits to having really big goals, as they can unlock different perspectives in your mind. One must use it carefully tho, to not get paradigm locked.

I agree with the first bolded part, but disagree with the second.

Spending conservatively - ie, in a way that looks poor - can be a necessary step to becoming wealthy, especially if your starting place is debt.

Knowledge is certainly richness. Before age 24 I'd never flown in a plane. In the 4 years since, I've flown 40 times, with 36 of the flights paid for me (to several U.S. states, and to/from Mongolia and Korea twice). Companies and universities flew me around because of my expertise, so in a way that was money I "had" or "spent" via these entities. It was largely worth it too.

This is good for a long-term arc of getting out of poor/debt/middle-class money mindsets and into wealth using emotional momentum.

Switching from the mindset of a broke person, to getting even (if you're under), to becoming rich, to having it all and giving charitably.

Absolutely, 100%. I love to impact the world and interact with it so power is extremely important to me. If you don't have millions of dollars your impact and leverage will be limited. I don't like to be limited it violates my happiness of life.
