Why nobody is talking about Iran?

A revolution is currently underway in Iran to overthrow the Ayatollahs' regime. The population is in the streets, government buildings are being set on fire, and in many cases, the police are joining the protesters, Israel is ready to act.

This is a global event of immense importance, and the news isn't saying a single word about it. Why?

The US is preparing to attack Iran, and the media outlets are owned by the big companies. The 1% want to silently move their wealth before the attack begins, also they don't want to cause unnecessary panic or outcry.

I just find it amazing that everyone lost their minds for Gaza with the death toll of this so called 40,000 happening in months if not a couple years and the same death toll in Iran happens in not more than 2 weeks and no ones batting an eye. Not even... @Leo Gura

PURE HYPOCRISY because it doesn't fit into a narrow potitical idealogy that US bad and allies bad everyone else good. PATHETIC!

Yeah I think it's important for us to talk about and think about these events as they happen as it's basically applied spirituality and epistemology.

“There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen.”

The Iran situation is hard to keep track of with the internet blackout but I hope they stay safe and unite for a better future.

Could also be fatigue in general cuz shit-fuck was done about that, the genocide there is still happening. Don't necessarily think it means no one cares about Iran.

People killed by the regime are more than 40.000 according to latest news

That is terrible. I am praying for those who ran away from those horrid conditions and wish for them to find stability and safety.

The reason why the free palistine people are silent is because the Ayatollah regime was the direct answer to the opressive regime of the shah which was backed by israel and th Us.

The corrupt shah helped the us oil companies to extract oil from the region preventing the profits from the oil to go to the people. The shah forced the population to dress in western clothes to flatter the west.

The shah was rightfully overthrown by a revolution and the country was taken over by the theocrats. They swiftly undid all the western reforms under the shah out of justified spite against the us. They wanted to create to most anti american country possible which led them to create rules about women needing to cover up etc.

This is why pro palestina people feel like it's not in their or in the wests place to condemn a goverment that is the direct reaction to western imperialism. Every source that is ignoring this history of american imperialism of Iran is fuelling imperialist propaganda.

Edit: This is not a pattern unique to Iran. It has played out and is playing out everywhere. When you are a small country with lots of recources and you don't want to just give all those ressources to america. They will fight you to the bone with sanctions, coups, fake protests, fake elections, etc and lead your people into ruin.

And after all that america will propagandize the entire west and even some citizens in the oppressed countries like the woman you sent in here into believing the suffering of the people is the result of "dictators" or "authoritarianism" or "terrorism" and not the west.

You and this woman live in a propaganda bubble my guy. Not us

Writing to you from Iran.

Thanks for talking about the issue guys. Would be glad if Leo paid attention to this matter as well.

I personally witnessed one of my neighbours, a 50 years old man, getting shot.

Mullas are savages. Pure savages. Sad thing is because of 40 years of oppression, and lack of credible documents about their atrocities, people in first world do not realize how evil these monsters are. We have grown up living with them. They are lowest stages of blue/ ruled by bunch of savage stage red leaders.

Yes, everyones life matters, we must advance as a species, but people over here have witnessed how political left took side in gaza situation and many other situations, but mostly silent on Iran. Because trump is their enemy? If you realized how demonic these fuckers are, you would see trump as a pure gentleman.(I know he is not! Compared to our standards of development.) Enemy of our savage enemy is our friend!

Please support us anyway you can.

@Leo Gura, if this regime falls, i will personally host you over here, we will take shrooms and talk about God!

The difference isn’t whose lives matter. It’s where people actually have leverage. Israel depends heavily on the West, and we have basically supported their genocide with money and weapons. On the contrary, Iran is already one of the most heavily sanctioned and isolated countries in the world.

I was going to post something else and I read this.

Stay safe. Keep your head down. They'll need people like you in the future to rebuild. Surviving this what you will offer will ripple out to thousands. As we all do over our lifetimes, only you will have a perspective that others will need to hear about what happened, put in a way that will assist all of them.

I dont think the regime wants to leave power. So it might develop into an armed revolution. This is what power transition in non democratic countries look like. Of course it can be non violent as well, but 9/10 the guy incharge doesnt give a fuck and just kills to maintain power

Very disappointing comments in this thread here. Some of you people are way too gullible and don't understand what is going on. There is an unbelievable amount of propaganda taking place right now in the West. It's all being done to manufacture consent for going to war with Iran to remove the regime and/or Balkanize the country for the sake of Israeli and Western interests. I don't doubt that some elements of the protests have been organic, and that a number of people have been killed. But we don't know what these numbers are, and we don't know to what extent these deaths were Iranian police/security. The numbers being posited, like 50,000 killed within 2 weeks, are pure rubbish. The people making these claims have no integrity. These are the same people who not only denied genocide in Gaza, but supported Israel's bloodthirsty efforts. I spend a significant amount of time on X. The sheer level of lies and propaganda being spread is like something I've never witnessed. It is truly fascinating to observe the concerted effort in real time.

We also have to admit that the Mossad and CIA have a very large hand in this. People within CIA and Mossad have admitted so themselves. There are agents of chaos within the streets trying to cause instability and weakness from within so that the US and Israel can deliver the final blow. This is all about installing a puppet regime in Iran that will bow down to the West, be a good little goy, and kiss the wall. You really think the great Persian people of Iran want a Zionist puppet to lead their country? That is not going to happen. Nobody advocating for American/Israeli interference in Iran actually cares about the Iranian people. The Iranian people are going to suffer the most when this war begins. When has regime change war ever worked out favorably? Libya, Iraq, and Syria are pure disasters. No, this has nothing to do with the Iranian people. It's about taking out the final boss, the most powerful and last-standing man in a long list of Israel's enemies in the region. Anybody supporting this war or regime change either have hidden, more sinister intentions or they are just not well educated enough about the history and politics of the region.

I don't know, I can't say, I don't live there to know the truth for sure. Media is full of Hollywood magic these days.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...

I have noticed that @Leo Gura has generally withdrawn from commenting about political topics in the last few months

He used to be way more active in this sub-section

It is ironic because now there are so much stuff happening from Greenland, to Venezuela to Iran etc

Maybe he does this on purpose for us to do our own analysis without being influenced by his views and opinions or he has phases and currently he is not on the phase to discuss these matters.
