I just talked to my ex, He has bpd and his mother is schizophrenic. We ended at good terms at break up 12y ago. He's green, I'm coral now. Basically he called me psycho and blocked me. @blackchair what do you really want? If you just texted him cause you felt lonely at the moment, it does not seem very respectful of him yes. 
better starting taking long term action(dating app, social evenings..) to fix the loneliness than contacting an ex.

I think it’s fine to categorize yourself and people according to models as long as you don’t lock yourself into that particular paradigm and remain open minded and combine your assessments with your intuition and not only your logical brain 🙂‍↔️

Definitely, but it runs the risk of us "moving with the map." It can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
