I don't think he was suggesting we are all one with his comment. He was just saying we all die alone so the 1 in 4 that dies single, as the title suggests, makes no difference if they're single or not because we all die alone anyway.

There are many issues that could lead to this... the most of which is probably having to do with many social interactions (including dating) happening online. And that just doesn't allow for real organic connection to form over time.

But one thing that holds people back from finding a partner is what I call "checkbox mentality."

It's like trying to choose partners with your mind so that the person has to have all the qualities on the list. And it over-intellectualizes the entire process, which is heart-centered when it's done correctly.

But even if they do find someone who checks off every box on their list, that isn't the thing that enables connection. Connection comes from the heart and from a deepening of intimacy. It's about getting out the mind and into the body.

A person who can do that and develop deep intimacy with friends and partners will have a much much easier time finding a partner.

Also, a person who does most of their dating in person (and not on dating apps) will be able to develop this intimacy much more easily.

Its just the internet imo. Take the internet away everything changes back. People arent getting bored or when they get bored they instantly go to the internet. Instead of feeling the emptiness within and running away. Reality moves out of boredom.

but the listing is already the biggest act of self deception and show how he categorize and manipulate reality.

With all those psychedelic, his love of survival/money is still too grounded in the collective hallucination, alien mind is not integrated at all yet.

Having to deal with community & people reduce our mind to data conformity a lot, it is what it is, sometimes it's good, most of the time it isn't.

Great points here already, and definitely great question too.

Basically how I see it is that girls getting more power through the empowerement movements taking over, making them more entitled and picky.

While at the same time guys getting disempowered by the same movements, society and culture, and thus being way more afraid of being a proper masculine, attractive man. Being more afraid of actually learning social skills with the girls and the art of approaching and seduction.

Finally, add in the fact that more girls enter universities than guys, they enter the work force more, make more money etc. and the whole old school traditional protect & provide don’t really work anymore.

What this means tho, is that the girls now go more for the really top attractive guys (who dont want to commit, cuz they dont have to and are driven by having lots of sex with different women), and are more willing to be in their harem, especially as slut shaming also is getting much less than in the past. So for the top guys, it is just getting easier.

So girls get their needs met by the attractive people they really wanna have sex with, but can provide for themselves better than most guys. And the top guys get their needs met without having to commit to just one girl.

This is the case for the majority of girls, and the top guys. The rest struggles to even enter the game - hence the whole male loneliness pandemic.

Oh, and of course social media and endless options just throws gasoline on fire.

Personally, I find this lifestyle extremely shallow and unsatisfying. I prefer an intimate relationship, but my standards are perhaps too high. Or just really hard to find someone compatible with me.

Compatibility is key in making relationships work.

It’s unfortunate for sure. A lot of young guys are going to never really break out socially. There isn’t really any going back either. The way I see it the western world will decay greatly and a lot of people will face some really challenging financial conditions. At the same time I don’t want to argue in the favor of hardship. A lot of guys can still do well and still create a beautiful life. They need to get off those dumb sports betting apps, twitch tv and actually focus on building valuable skills and developing themselves.
