This was one of the more gut wrenching posts. It hurts because it’s true.

We are more susceptible to corruption working for a boss-this isn't taught in school

Imagine if this was your boss:

Yes, and the notion of 'working for yourself' is a fallacy in the end.

Everyone has a boss.

I'll take that fallacy any day over something like this:

In regards to the post on robert Greene, I read the laws of power, laws of human nature & the art of seduction maybe 6-7 years ago. They where really direct, insightful and hardcore revealing all the tricks in human games. Thanks to Robert Green's books I'm much better able to read the actions of others and see through people's BS.

However a better title would be "rules and tactics of the games humans play" for his book series and not laws.

I liked the books but was also really put off by them because it shows you how to act, cheat, manipulate, disguise to get what you want. Truth, being truthful, loving, caring, kindness...none of that $**t, you'll be eaten up by all the wolves.

Yep this is a really common complaint regarding the laws of power, for sure. And I do agree. Robert goes into how they aren't meant to be strategies used, but tactics you will encounter and to be aware of their mechanitions.

Some of the books have been banned in a few countries due to the Machiavellian nature of the laws! I think he is just brutally honest and many people do not want to hear it....

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

I'm sure sociopaths buy his books as instruction manuals.

Not really, sociopaths are sociopaths because they unconsciously harm others. They are too unaware that all they can harm and will ever harm are themselves. If you show them each mechanism they use to be manipulative and gain power over others, they ought to gain some understanding and be more conscious.
Robert's books are a threat to people who pretend that humans are truthful loving creatures not because it creates a sociopath that destroys their perfect world but because it exposes the mechanism that humans have always used to exploit others.

All of the Tates underlings are huge fans of Robert Greene and his 48 laws of power. A underling guy called Joe Lampton that bragged that he only read in his life Sun Tzu Art of War and Robert Greene 48 laws of power. @Unlimited will for sure confirm this

I had classmate who is so sociopathic and narcisisstic it`s crazy. He is like copy of Andrew Tate although he doesn`t even know him! Doing kickboxing, reading only 48 laws of power, treating everyone poorly and always wearing a mask, pretending to be macho. Eww.

Robert Greene's books are good but imo overhyped. When I read the 48 laws of power I was expecting a lifetime master piece, it was a nice reflexive read but not life transforming. Most of Leo's books are far far more profound.

It's a good book and I recommend it, certainly some traps outlined are very important. I'm just trying to temper expectations so you enjoy the book more.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God
