Why do bad trips occur with 5-MeO-DMT, and at what doses have they happened to you? I've used it around seven times so far. Interestingly, only the low doses led to unpleasant experiences for me. However, doses of 15mg and 20mg were overwhelmingly confusing. They weren't good or bad, just pure bewilderment.

I think on lower doses your ego is still  too much intact 

On higher doses there is not so much ego left which categorize things into good or bad. So things you normally see as bad like a tinnitus will be experienced differently then
