Classical Music thread

18 posts in this topic

This is my favorite genre, of course there are rare cases I will like not classical music, such as Viktor Tsoi and Kino.

But this is a thread to post your favorite classical music pieces.

3 of my personal favorites but...

@puporing The Rachmaninov piano concerto no.2 you posted is maybe my favorite classical piece of all time. The first time I heard that.. good god. it's just TOO good!! It's that or Schubert Sonata D. 894 for me :x

Yes it's pretty epic :D. He composed it after going through a period of depression.

Thanks for sharing those too. I haven't explored Schubert as much yet.

This on above is gold. So beautiful and rich. To me that piece represents many different facets of life.

Here's another beautiful piece by Paul de Senneville (''Chopin - Spring Waltz'' is just a pseudonym). Super gentle and warm.

Pure gold. No words needed.

Yeah, I know La Campanella is generally known as a show off piece as it's technically super hard to play, but I like it, it's super epic, bold and clever in many ways.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?
