An idea for a new subforum

- As well some sort of highlighted neon sticky post for the Serious Emotional Problems section about suicide and self-harm would be good. Just with some basic protocol about what the reader should do if feeling unstable, links to suicide hotlines, etc.

I especially like the psychedelics section. 

Also the life purpose focused section. 

 

I think - "High Consciousness Resources" and "Self-Help Product & Book Reviews" should be separated, but beside eachother.

I think a miscellaneous section would be a great addition. I find myself wanting to share perspectives on everyday things but usually don’t because it doesn’t fit the current categories.

I am leaning towards creating a sub-forum for psychedelics and a sub-forum for off-topic cultural stuff.

Worse case scenario we just erase the off-topic sub-forum if it gets too distracting.

Okay, I've made some updates to the sub-forums. Added 2 new sub-forums (Psychedelics & Pop-Culture). Renamed some of the old sub-forums to make their titles clearer and more accurate.

I respect Leo a lot for adding these new subforums. I know a lot of people think all art is a waste of time or something but I have personally learned deeper lessons in some songs, shows and films than I have in any self help book. and having an entire philosophy section should bring about some great discussions! I'm very excited for the future of this forum.

So I would look into this more carefully. For example, even if your estimation is correct (and I think it might or might not be, 50:50), why would people's perception disturb yours, or even affect it in anyway? Like if I did the same thing but you didn't look or have to know, would it really affect you?

 

That being said, I'm not against the suggestion that you are putting forth. I'm just suggesting looking for an alternative way of dealing with this in case your wish isn't to be implemented.
