Im voting Trump in November and why I left this forum

206 posts in this topic

@Raphael I value like literally every video that Leo has posted. I have watched all of his videos several times (except the new white ones). Interpersonal relationships, life purpose, quantum physics, psychedelics, meditation and first and foremost: enlightenment and spirituality. A topic that has again "literally" saved my life by making me aware that Im in a dream.

I dont think its a good sign that so many of you guys feel this much blown away that I have a different political opinion on a forum where spirituality is the main focus. Spirituality should always be about diversity and the biggest possible picture.

Heres a task: imagine a scenario where someone has a high level of spiritual development and decides to support Trump. Come up with possible explanations. Im not saying that that is the case but if Im honest: alot of guys characterization of me do not land, because it doesnt feel like your arguing against me, it feels like youre arguing against your projection of a trump supporter, which can be frustrating at times.

The problem with Trump is he's very divisive . He constantly provokes more division

@Nak Khid I completely agree with you. Trump is an idiot, I know that. Hes not very articulate and not very giving or compassionate. He constantly makes  divisive statements but he also makes clear statements and does not give in.

Hes not very appealing but his heart is in the right place (compared to Biden certainly, compared to the mess that is the democratic party certainly). He makes counter-productive moves but he has something that the vast majority of politicians do not have, he says whats on his mind. He does not give in like a weak person, he perseveres.

I want to state clearly that I think that the old media has generated 90% of the division (CNN, Huffington Post, ABC). They are a dying medium and they have exploited the hate for trump for clicks and money. They have created an antagonistic perception in one half of the population.

The root of your problem is:  There is a liberal bias in truth

Much like there's a heat bias in the sun

He just did a speech at Mount Rushmore.  He didn't wear a mask at any point. The crowd didn't wear masks.

Where's the leadership?  This speech, the one at Tulsa, then Arizona all very recent, same thing
How can you vote for this foolishness?  it's just spreading disease unnecessarily

Infections are on the rise in 39 states, according to a Reuters tally, and 16 have posted record daily case counts in July. The country’s death toll crossed 130,000 on Monday and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention forecast that it could reach 160,000 later this month.

The alarming surge in daily new cases, which has been averaging around 50,000, has prompted many local leaders to consider slowing down or rolling back business reopenings to curb infection rates that are already overwhelming hospitals in some areas.

No, Trump doesn't give a shit about our country. he just uses buzz words he thinks sound good on fox and other right wing news networks and compiles them with nazi rhetorical approaches to appeal to his scared stage blue following and keep them under his control-- https://www.favreau.info/misc/14-points-fascism.php

His level of lies and deception is on a different plane... always talking about "draining the swamp"... never actually talking about what the fucking swamp is from his perspective... another example of repeating a buzzword he prob heard tucker carlson say... meanwhile, his entire cabinet are literally corporate lobbyists. He talks about how bernie wants to turn this country communist with his socialist policies... meanwhile this dumbass straight up socialized the entire stock market with trillions of dollars to keep his numbers looking pretty while leaving millions to eat shit without healthcare and student loan debt to worry about.

lol, it Ain't just left leaning media... it isn't just "THEM".... I notice you use this type of language a lot... all media does what it takes to catch eyeballs for profit. it happens that we are in the midst of a stage green evolution and about 50% are for it and around 50% are against it.

lol, you are entitled to your perspective... The reason why it is so mind blowing is because part of the mission of actualized.org is to facilitate the development of spiritual intelligence and thus decrease levels of ego density. Trump does not stand for high consciousness values. He stands for fear, ego, and deception... now your going to say "well... well... biden, hillary, corrupt democrats!!!" yes, they are corrupt as well. there are different degrees of corruption and if you can't tell that Trump is on a different tier of corruption and ego density... idek what to say. good luck on your journey.

The whole function of Donald Trump is to entertain the world with his crazy antics. This is partly why he was elected at all.

I just can't take him seriously. Who takes him seriously? I'm confused. Who has the divine ability to take Donald Trump seriously? If you have that ability, you deserve a gold star from me. ⭐

It's actually not surprising. It takes time to develop a self-consistent worldview and eliminate contradictory opinions. Jordan Peterson one time talked about how common it is for college freshmen to write something in an essay and then contradict themselves in the next sentence. It's not "ageism", It's facts. I'm only 3 years older than you, and I'm not immune to this either. It's something to have in mind, but also don't let it discourage you too much.

Im gonna come back to this thread in 20 years and then were gonna see who was right :D. Im german, so I dont have any significant impact on the US election anyways.

In a different way Im very excited what lays ahead of us and how all this political chaos is gonna play out in the end. The future may look chaotic but it will also certainly be eventful.

I think this is a fair point and a criticism i had of the current political system, essentially politicians were very fake on all sides and you got the sense that they werent being truthful so it was hard to relate to them as a human. That could be because the public demanded that whiter than white politician with no skeletons in the closet but either way we got to a stage where you had to put on this clean act to get anywhere in politics, i found it terrible.

Trump in some ways offers an antidote to that and i can see that it can be a positive going forward as other politicians know that acting is not going to get them through. If youre just saying that point then i get it, but to say hes actually a good president and the way forward for the country, i really dont see that. Im not sure he really cares about much apart from how he appears, if the democrats wouldve had him he wouldve gone with them and whatever policies he felt would be well received by the targeted audience he wouldve gone for. This suggests to me that he doesnt really 'believe' in anything he says, theres a lot of right wingers where you can have a certain respect for them as thats their world view even if you disagree, but with Trump he doesnt share a world view, he is solely about power and status. So to that point it is hard to fathom that someone who is very interested in seeing past illusion could think that someone like Trump is a great president and even support him, most people will think its a certain naivety or that youre not as spiritually evolved as you think. I would go for the former.

Another thing to consider is that all the enlightenment teachers wouldnt declare political allegiance but just from their actions where would you peg them? Id say theyre pretty liberal if you want to put it on that scale, but they may not even be that aware of American politics. So i think if you take away the labels, a spiritual path will naturally take you to a 'liberal' point of view that wont be anything to do with tribal allegiances

National identity is ego of course.

@Robi Steel What you need to understand is that your entire political ideology is an unconscious self-survival function. ALL OF IT! That's ego surviving. There's nothing true about it. It's grounded in selfishness and self-bias.

So what you're defending is ego. All politics is survival and pure fiction.

I totally agree. But theres a reason this part of the forum exists right. And I see many other people on here that defend a certain identity. I dont feel like Im special in that regard.

If were gonna play the game, lets play the game. I thought that you said that we need to get involved in politics whether we want to or not.

Or are you saying that your way of looking at politics is pure and mine is in contrast based on 100% illusion? Because thats quite an assumption

@Robi Steel well take trump and any 'identity' out of the equation, would you say building a wall to separate countries is an identity that would lead toward unity of people?

A spiritual belief would be to get toward unity as we are all one already and are working toward realising this, so does a wall for example help with that?
