Our love for beauty and beautiful faces is a strange loop

Beautiful faces are valuable. Why are they valuable? Because they are valuable.

Ofc it has social and economical benefits , but why?  It has those benefits because society values beauty. And why is beauty valuable? Because we value it.

It serves no information about fertility or survival value.

Another take is that there could be some higher inteligence behind the efficiency of the golden ratio, and therefore evolution is pulled towards it. Reallity is extremely efficient.
