Well, Cartman is a ridiculous extreme caricature.

Yeah, in his most extreme he's Red, but when he's being more like a normal human, he's Orange.

South Park depicts a lot of exaggerated and outlandish scenarios for purposes of satire and comedy. It's not meant to be real life.

Yeah, I get that of course. And as a cartoon character, I absolutely love Cartmen. But isn't he not like the most selfish a human can ever get? He is a big nazi admirer and views slavery in a positive light. I still think it is a little much to call him orange even when he is being more like a "normal" human.

@Leo Gura I agree they definitely have a lot of orange in them. The last seasons I found a little too vulgar for my taste. Though they did have some outstanding episodes in the past that I consider comical brilliance. Also, they do satirize/criticize stage orange in some episodes and seasons, most notably with Randy's weed business.
