I love coffee, but I get addicted to caffeine super quickly, and yet, my body is really sensitive to it so I can't sustain it.

Decaf.

There's some things you gotta go Buddhist on and other things, that's where you need Star Wars.

And obviously they don't talk about GOD.

And obviously psychedelics don’t talk about GOD.

How is that possible?!

The only way to God is to lose your mind literally. Meditation alone in most cases is going to be insufficient. If you want to reach God Consciousness you need a state change and the balls to literally be willing to go Insane while still being sane. You will not reach God Consciousness and keep your human mind in tact. Your sense of self must spill out into the world around you for you to access the mind of God,

All the information you need has already been given, that Buddist thing is just going to make you a good meditator and that is it. I commune with God all the time, I hang out with Jesus, Shiva and Krishna and I'm not bragging at all, it is something you can do if you can escape the limited human mind and rest in Infinity. With that said, you will have to go through many rough patches along the path.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

So I've been going to a Buddhist temple for 3 months now . First of all, the good. I like this place, I like these people , I'd rather have Buddhists as friends than most types of people . Meditation is also really good . If you have adhd or otherwise can't sit still and you go to one of these temples you'll be forced to sit still and meditate, that's good, it builds accountability.

But as for understanding of reality, I've been a little let down . There's lots of talk of oneness, of seeing through the ego, of no self. Sometimes if I'm lucky there will be a little blurb about everything being Mind, but unlike Leo who beats you over the head with it you get maybe a sentence or two about Consciousness, then it's right  back to practical stuff, I feel 90% of the talks given are self-help. How to be a better person, how to do the right thing , how to be more selfless.

They don't really talk about Love, Intelligence, Beauty, Goodness. And obviously they don't talk about GOD.

I'll probably keep going, it's just a little disappointing.

They talked about GOD all along, but you didn't listen !

Buddhists deny God.

The problem is Buddhists don't think. They discourage thinking about Reality. That is a mistake. Meditation is not enough to solve Reality.

It may sound a little simplistic at first, but in the depth of meditation, there can be a shift in perspective where the sense that something needs to be fixed or figured out simply falls away. From the absolute perspective. You still have to feed your body obviously.
it’s not necessarily that life’s problems disappear, but that, for a moment, you experience things without the assumption that there is something to solve. It’s just another perspective on the same reality.

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

Of course that is the Buddhist position. But it is wrong. You will not meditate your way to understanding GOD.

It’s really two different directions, and it depends on what your goals and priorities are.

If the goal is to understand God intellectually, then thinking and deep contemplation are necessary. But if the goal is to experience peace, stillness, and bliss, then quieting the thinking mind through meditation may be more beneficial.

Neither approach is necessarily better..it depends on what someone is seeking . For example, my mother is at an age where intense intellectual exploration may not be as suitable or necessary for her. Meditation and cultivating a sense of inner peace might serve her much better.
