Islam vs actualized.org

@LordFall I am not arguing there was a lot of conflict in that area or regarding the religion. I am not even saying it made less war. That checks out with spiral dynamics. I’m focused on the heart of the religion. Not just the people in it and what they did or didn’t do.

When Gandhi died in the power vacuum he created in India lead to a civil war which killed over 2 million people. His act of non-violence lead to a war.

Human affairs can be really messy.

I am interest is more on the heart of the teachings of Islam, what what took place for it to take hold over so many.

I know I made it out to seem like Mohammad was perfect, but that’s not what I’m saying. Mohammad create Islam. It’s a powerful school of understanding. His actions allowed it to grow and survive. Within Islam is a deep love and profound wisdom. Essentially value of the higher self are central to the teachings of Islam. These are universal values at its heart.

There was nothing about it that said all war would stop. That wasn’t going to happen because of how humans are at that level of cognitive, value and ego development. Plus, the survival pressures are so high for all those people. This is why it is profound to create an Islam that can survive.

It’s hard for me to explain this. I’m not excusing any wrong doing. But, I also recognize the way of life of an age when something is created. If Islam was created this way today it would be unacceptable to me. I am by no means done contemplating various perspectives.

U could say the same about Buddhism , but with Buddhism you'll at least have a practice that could lead to some enlightenment experiences. I attend in person Buddhist things, Leo was right that most of them don't understand God, but it's okay bc I go for emotional regulation and community. Zen is a little better than Theravada , many theravadans are materialists, zen at least has an idea of God called the one mind but they say it can't be understood, maybe with meditation it can't .

There is a cultivation of the heart in Islam. I’m not saying be a Muslim. But, I suggest you could be a treasure seeker to all the worlds knowledge.

Have you felt the ecstatic heart of Islam?

@Thought Art In every religion go to the mystics and you shall find the song leading you to God. Although, beware, for many have been lost in the path, for Gold is not everything that shines and many claim the treasure for themselves.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life GOD is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, because The Sun shines through All: Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

@zazen I think you're being a bit biased and using the good sides to takeaway from the damage and harm it's caused.

Delusion

Leo wouldn't even break sweat going about deconstructing Islam, despite it having kernels of truth.

I’m just commenting that there is a good side and it’s not all backward and bad - that good side is what appeals to many including ThoughtArt.

The nuance is Muhammad wasn’t a caricature on either side - def not Ghandi on a camel nor Ghengis Khan with no limit on the worst instincts.

Religion / institutions or “constructs” don’t uninstall humanity or its messiness but that doesn’t make the construct itself useless or to be abandoned - the level of conciousness interacting with the construct changes its outcomes.

You can have religion approached from above (developed mind) or liberal secularism approached from below (less developed mind) and have vastly different outcomes. We can still have a dogmatic tribal minded person use the liberal lens for harm.

The ideological shells change and the human remains flaws n all - Jesus taught turn the other cheek / love and Christians turned entire continents over, same with Communism and liberalism - but doesn’t mean they don’t each have valid and beautiful truths to them which is why people are drawn to them.

The kernels of truth gets a lot of false truths added to it, as happens when things are institutionalised over time - the truth is weaponised for harm instead of good. Maybe it’s a category error to compare actualised with religion - actualised isn’t trying to be a OS for a society to run civilization. If it did it would run in to many of the same issues institutions run into.

Even a hippie commune can eventually have two guys fighting over who ate the last lentil 😂 or who touched who the wrong way (Oshos commune lol) - because humans are bound to form and it’s survival/shadow bs that comes with it.

We got laws against murder and speeding n they still happen - that doesn’t invalidate the ideals / rules / constructs in place trying to regulate them.

Leo will use advanced epistemology to get them to open the Kaaba. Inside lies a Saudi prince, passed out drunk with a naked instagram model next to him.

Turns out it's transparent inside and Saudi princes use it to masturbate in publicly with impunity while charging stupid tourists to come to their holy city for pilgrimage.

My favorite religion. Still a religion though , not infinite enough .

“God is the Alpha Omega .. the beginning-less  beginning and the endless end .
He is the first without start . He is the last without end . He is the manifest actuality ..nothing covers him . He is the most hidden essence  ..nothing can grasp him .. nothing below him or more subtle than him .The ego is the belief I’m separate from god . Because being god is too good to be true .No matter how dark it gets or difficult it gets ..no matter how long it is going to take .. my destiny is the infinite happiness and infinite joy and love as the best thing ever ..God .  “

-that’s a me .

-The theology and understanding of God is the most accurate and most close to Leo’s teaching about God .

- I enjoy listening and hearing the Quran .

-still a religion, means it has beliefs which can’t be verified like the afterlife , the existence of spiritual beings like angels and devils , hell , paradise .

-contains primitive political ideologies and laws which only belong to the era of Islam and obviously outdated when tried to be applied to our modern world .

But having a relationship with God is different from thinking you are God, no?

If we are to rank religions on consciousness I think the Bahai Faith is much superior to Islam or the other Abrahamic religions.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baháʼí_Faith

They believe that divine truth was given to humanity in different stages through different prophets that came and founded the other religions. They taught unity of religion instead of group think. They have their own prophets The Bab and Baha Ullah that originated in the 19th century.

They have churches all over, saw one in Toronto and looking up their history and practices they seem pretty cool.
