I have a craving for hard drugs, should i burn through this karma?

9 posts in this topic

I noticed with myself through introspection, that i crave hard drugs. I've already done mdma, and another drug which when they gave it to me told me it was lsd, however i wasn't hallucinating when i took it, i just felt more open and comfortable, there was definitely a state change, but nothing crazy. The mdma though was really powerful, i enjoyed every second of it.

I have a craving for drugs, not just to do self development, or to get spiritual insights, but just to use them almost recreationally you might say. And to explore altered states of consciousness which i find fascinating.

I was watching Leo's video about burning through karma, and i think it's appropriate for me, given my craving, to go satisfy them in a more or less responsible way, as much as i can.

Not just psychedelics, although also psychedelics, but not just psychedelics, also cocaine, crack, meth...

What do yall think, what's more dangerous to try these drugs, or not to, given my current cravings ?

You crave hard drugs because you say you crave hard drugs.

Going down the route of exploring that karma. Is a recipe to experience the very depths of hell.

Rid yourself of these nonsense beliefs before they fuck you up big time.

LSD is not a hard drug. But you can be addicted and it can ruin your life. Leo may say otherwise, but the scientific literature says that LSD can be addictive.

Sorry for the spam.

Exploring hard drugs in the way of burning through karma is not what Leo was talking about.

You have to look, what do you desire from the hard drugs and find where u can get them from another places.

An example is if you do the flaming sword practice. You can learn how to download light. You can then turn this light into any positive emotion.  Get very good at this. You can keep this up for 45 minutes and it’s like an MDMA trip.

i’ve actually done the flaming sword practice on MCAT which is very similar to MDMA it just doesn’t last as long. And I can confirm to you that the high is just the same if you’re very concentrated and really developed your light summoning muscles.

Just stick to psychedelics. Rid yourself of this idea by thinking through the consequences. It’s not worth it. Don’t act on this craving.

Fuck no dude. In fact if you have a craving all the more reason to stay away. Maybe if you didn't have a craving (still would be a terrible idea) it could be fine.

even something as benign as weed can ruin your life if you're a real addict. And the only way you know if you're a real addict is by doing drugs. And then if you are you're fucked.

It depends on the drug and the frequency with which you indulge.  You probably want to steer clear from cocaine, meth, crack and heroine for example.  You can accidentally run into fentanyl or dangerous synthetics with a variety of other kinds of substances so learn how to test stuff and/or only buy from super reputable sources.  You can almost never go wrong with weed unless your one of those people who just cant handle it.

Other than that, most everything else has its value in moderation.  MDMA, which is a tricky one for me since I love that shit, can have benefits if you use it a handful of times a year.  Everyday use is where these things become a problem.  So if you dont have any history of addiction and dont have an addictive personality, then feel free to have the experience you want to have.  Just dont lose yourself in it because thats a real risk.

It does depend, but you don’t know yourself. You might say “oh it’s okay this is not a bad one” then it completely ruined your life.

Keep in mind that if you want to do drugs often this is because a negative belief system is trying to maintain itself.

Really be open to the fact that you might be deceiving yourself into taking drug. Do you really think you are being 100% truthful in this?

A drug is something you use when you're ill in order to heal. Framing it as recreational just shows how delusional the idea is.

It's like stabbing yourself with a scalpel for recreational purposes. The scalpel is not a toy, it has valid uses, just not in the way you're intending.

Don't do it.
