He doesn’t need to depend on sources like the news.  He is a friend so he is an insider of Conner and I’m sure he cross referenced with acquaintances/mutual friends to see if it is true.

A hoax or a genuine death - I will not be surprised either way. A tragic and sad way to go but Conor has been gone for a long time - we all know this.

@Hojo No. Not at all. I didn't want to sleep. I refused to sleep. I wanted to keep going. That is what made it so much worse.

When I finally got help I was able to sleep, and that's when I started to improve and stabilize.

My best friend who has bipolar disorder  told me that weed makes them violent ill. I thought they were over-exaggerating at first, but this Connor situation has definitely changed my perspective pretty fast.

Ideally. But sleep wouldn't cure it anyways. Lack of sleep just makes the underlying issue worse and more extreme. When you are in that state you need contained, monitored, and fed antipsychotics until you're stable. If it happened again I like to think I would be able to manage it better and get help sooner because I lived through the absolute hell the first episode was, but you never know. 

The thing is that when you're in that psychotic state everything is flipped upside down. Sleep is bad. Help is bad. Work is bad. Medication is bad. Careless behavior is good. Not eating is good. Confrontation is good. Randomly deciding to drive across the country with no money is good. It's a terrifying predicament to be in because you refuse to accept how far gone you are, and nobody can convince you otherwise.

I always said that Actualized dot com can become a death cult for certain people. If you take that many psychedelics and zonk your nervous system and delicate balancing system of your body, it is only natural to become like that. Even if you are 100% healthy but he wasn't so the likelihood becomes even bigger. Conner got in the pic because he is famous and has eyes on him, but there are tons of cases where this happens in the silence of the night. And nobody will know about it.

Nice work on your healing. I can’t imagine how insanely difficult that must have been, but you did it and here you are now.

This is shocking for me. He always said, its just an act. He proved it many times that it was just an act with behind the camera scenes.

I thought he pretends to be crazy for getting attention in topics like social anxiety. Somehow he really was mentally ill. 

Leo talked with him and also said he sounds like a rational guy before he made an interview with him if I remember correctly.

Extremely sad to see someone ruin themselves like this. RIP!

As someone who has been diagnosed with manic depression and has had similar psychotic experiences when engaging in psychedelics, what lesson should I draw from this? I'm very grateful I never went full nutcase and I'm actually somewhat grad for not having been as successful in life as he was, because mania could have taken over in the same way, but what else?

I don’t think so. Just because he was “playing it up” doesn’t mean his behavior wasn’t problematic. Also I feel like he said that a lot so people would stop being concerned. And of course there was a delusional element where he believed he was ok. I think it was both at the same time.

He was “acting” up. But he was also not well.

It’s just sad that he was basically a ticking time bomb for the last few years and everyone could see it. 

Him running into the lake and drowning could be seen as paranoia but who knows what he was thinking in the moment.
