I always use the AI mode.   I have been using it as an aid to learn Sanskrit and it has been fantastic for that purpose.

Flood the zone with shit. Misinformation and disinformation is too widespread.

Vetting is becoming harder and harder.

I've been on the internet heavily since mid-90s when DIALix existed in Australia. It's been a slow boil.

I use duckduckgo, startpage and kagi (paid though). I used to use Brave but it's been turd lately. Not sure what changed there.

I hate how Google prioritizes Reddit search results so much now, besides AI summaries being 40-100% based of Reddit comments. Sometimes the first page is nothing but Reddit. Utter trash.

AI is playing a more significant role now.  It's not bad necessarily.  Your judgment has to take first chair here.  You need to be willing to want to argue with AI when it encroaches on the boundaries you have.  And usually it will understand.
