Yeah.  That's all I know how to do at this point pretty much.  HTML and CSS and a touch of JavaScript.  This is a cool video.  So many options in web dev right now.

Web dev industry is changing so rapidly, we don't actually write code manually any more, we just do it with AI 90% of the time, but the thing is, it's crucial to know the fundamentals and actually understand what AI is doing to differenciate slop from useful code. Also, you take charge whenever it doesn't do things correctly.

But that skill of actually knowing stuff came from years of experience for me that I got from doing this full time professionaly.

I'm not sure where juniors gonna get that experience if no companies hire juniors anymore (junior jobs are almost nonexistent atm).

We're moving into a new abstraction where big picture thinking, architecture design, AI agent orchestration, proficency at fundamentals, and leadership qualities are becoming more and more valuable.

@Basman People do it on purpose in India they sit there and watch bodies melt. There are many stories of buddha where he shows people melting bodies and dying bodies. Its looking at fear.

This is not true from my experience. Facing trauma dead in the eyes again and again and again grows me the exponential, especially paired with psychedelic states and in the presence of the highest teachers and healers. Facing my shit helped me grow in autonomy and wisdom.

The overlap between people who watch gore and having a mental illness is pretty high, you have to admit.

That shit is not far off from being self-harm. Those sights will never leave you.

About two weeks.

Its effects have started to get worse, so I quit. And I get addicted very easily to coffee.

I just had to sleep early so that I wouldn't need coffee the next day.

I do a lot of spiritual practices but some of them are closer to hobbies than others . Like tai chi and  yoga. Duolingo,  smash bros.

What if this is just fascination + identity + seriousness being inflated into universal importance?

My main hobby (activity) is preparing dish of fried potatoes and 2 eggs each day. Good results so far.

Hey, that sounds good. I'm actually going to prepare that now.

You might want to be mindful of eating those fried potatoes every day. I'd eat them sparingly - either that, or bake them in the oven, or stew them.

I had this thought yesterday: Being a furry is genius form the perspective of the dao. According to Laozi, weakness is power and power is weakness. If you think about is it's true. The most alpha males you see are actually always the most fragile people.

Dressing up as a cute furry animal that goes around and hugs people is incredibly powerful bc it is so simple. If you have the furrsona of some animal that just exists to be cute and nothing else, that you can just switch on once in a while, is extremely grounding. What this means paradoxically is that you can strive to even more power than any alpha male since you have this regular grounding mechanism in your life that makes you routinely detach from your power and therefore prevents attachment to this power.

This matches with experience. Furries are often people with very high salaries. I want you to look up the price of a furry suit (they are almost always custom-made).

Agreed with the rest. But furries could also be people like this guy
